Day 35

Weekly Truth

John 14:7

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.

This week we will memorize Jesus’s statement of his connection to the Father.

“If you know me, you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
—John 14:7

Romans 8:26-39 we know the Father, and nothing can separate us from His love! No matter how we feel, He is the truth! His Spirit help us in our weakness as we pray to Him, and He draws near to us as we draw near to Him. So praise the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever!

So thankful we can know God-He made the only way, through Christ. And because of Jesus, the Holy Spirit dwells in us. We are God-powered!!

In addition, Hebrews tells us that Jesus is the exact representation of God and Colossians says He is the image of the invisible God

Sisters, To know Jesus is to know God. Amazing!

Ti na I love your words I must smile because my children have the same father and yet people ask about their father one of my daughters is blonde, blue eyed, the other had dark, dark brown hair and eyes our son had reddish blond hair and hazel eyes. I smile because they don’t look alike but when you get to know them their personalities are a combo of my husband and I. You just have to take the time to get to know them.
Just like us as Christains if people get to know us they will realize we all share the same Father, that we are sisters-in-Christ. Have blessed Sunday, sisters!

I remember taking my children to the circus once, and a group of ladies who had to get up for us to get to our seats, began to argue, after we had passed, about whether my son and daughter were brother and sister.. one said, ,”Nah” whilst another said.. “..is she their mother”, the last two both said at the same time, “..they look alike.. can you see the resemblance..I bet they are both her children”

    I tell you this why…?

I am mixed race, my father from Ghana, my mother from Ireland.. My daughter was from my marriage to a Ghanaian, she was dark skinned my son from a relationship I was in..he was much lighter skinned

    United nations right there…!

And yet, there was a resemblance, a trait that they had that connected them, that you knew without a doubt, when you met them, they were related.. that they had a connection.

This verse from John 14, reminds me in an even stronger way, the connection between God and his Son Jesus, they are that connected they are one with the Spirit.. the Triune..

If you know me, you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”… (We are that, that connected, if you’ve seen me you’ve seen Him..) that has been and is an awesome statement! Reading the word that precedes this is ..
Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.
John 14:6 (The house is the same, same front door, BUT Jesus is the key, without Him, you can not see the connection, without Him, the door can not be opened)

Thank you Lord God, thank you that you always always make a way.. we just need to open our eyes.. thank you Lord God..

    Amen..

Happy Sunday sisters. Praying you and yours well..Be Blessed. ❤
