Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.
This week we will memorize Jeremiah 33:14, God’s declaration of his intention to remain faithful to Israel and Judah.
“Look, the days are coming”—
this is the LORD’s declaration—
“when I will fulfill the good promise
that I have spoken
concerning the house of Israel
and the house of Judah.
—Jeremiah 33:14

Over and over again from the beginning of time God restores and redeems His people and always fulfills His promises, whether we see it as good or bad. Thank God for His consistent and just nature <3
Over and over again the Lord declares what is true. I am just so grateful.
So true and encouraging
Thank you my Lord .
Melanie, me too! I’m so glad to hear that. ❤️
Laura Theobald, Churchmouse, Tina, Bessie H., Jennifer O., NanaK, May, Chris Swan, Jenna I fully agree.
Beautifully said Angie.
Praying for you and your daughter and son-in-law and new grandbaby, Kathy.
Mikki God has already started to bring the whole world together to help each other with this pandemic. All the countries are “pooling” there information about what works and doesn’t work. Different international companies are stepping up and pitching in to make things they usually don’t make or donate money. People are helping people by stepping up, staying in and/or praying.
I love that God keeps his promises!❤️
Jen this song gives so much comfort to me in this time of so much trouble and fear. Thank you for sharing.
Kathy, praying for Sara, that her fears subside to be taken over by the peace of God… the peace of God that says.. it is well.
The peace of God that says, I am with you.
The peace of God that says, I, the Lord declare, I will fulfill the good promise that I have spoken
concerning the house of Israel
and the house of Judah.(Sara and family). Fulfill The good promise, even in these uncertain times, there is a good promise.
And Kathy, if God has declared it.. it is so.!
Sending prayers wrapped in love and hugs for a safe and peace filled delivery..
Looking forward to hear..❤
Was listening to some Indelible Grace music earlier. These lyrics stood out to me:
“I have called Thee Abba Father,
I have stayed my heart on Thee
Storms may howl, and clouds may gather;
All must work for good to me.”
Praying that like we would consider Him faithful who made the promise.
Oops, I hit post too soon. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say I’m grateful for you all. Every morning, sitting with my tea, oatmeal, and study book, I get such encouragement and insights as I read your comments. I’ve been struggling with loneliness quite a bit since this whole thing started but this sweet time in prayer, the Word, and reading what you all have to say is always the highlight of my day and brings my soul comfort.
Like some of you have expressed, so I’m thankful for you ladies and your insights!
Wow! God’s Word IS timing! Agree with all of you here the timing of Our God’s Word to remind us that HE is with us. Looking forward to Church online as it’s become our new normal. Love and pray for you all.
God promises, seek me and you will find me.
This morning the wind howls through a gray sky, trees sway from side to side, scattered leaves blow across the grass, my lawn chair is blown to the boundary of the deck. And, I see God.
He comforts me.
I am reminded of the Psalm 104 scriptures.
I “can see” the Lord riding on the wings of this wind.
I can imagine His majesty above the chariot of the gray clouds.
Above the canopy of this sky He is clothed in majesty and splendor, wrapped in light. Creator God reigns.
I can hear the rushing power.
Opening a window or stepping outside, I am embraced by it.
I think of Acts 2, when rushing wind filled the room of believers and flames of the Holy Spirit rested upon each one.
I pray that the wind would carry the message of Christ Jesus to believer and unbeliever alike.
I pray for lost souls to be found.
I pray that God’s children would lay down, all.
I am asking for more than just healing of this virus. In humility, bowing before the throne of the One and Only, I ask not just for healing of this virus, but a deeper purifying of hearts, minds, and lives. Use this for good Lord God.
May those who are healthy both physically and spiritually shine (the sun just popped out amongst the clouds and wind right when I typed the words spiritually shine – and my eyes are filled with tears of joy) for you Lord.
May we be warriors for God. Servants in your kingdom. Obedient and holy, as You are holy.
Embrace God those who are suffering, may they find peace in you.
May lost souls be found.
Thank you God for this forced set apart time. Use this for good.
Your breath upon us is a blessing. Thank you.
Amen.
I look forward to the day.
I want the good promise.
I believe in God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
I will tell of the Good News.
God lives in me.
Christ lives in me.
The Holy Spirit lives in me.
I plan to pass it on.
Church from our recliners with a cup of coffee! Praise God for the technology that allows us all to share our Love for Christ and for each other.
Churchmouse, I also often take notes from comments made here! So much wisdom from all of you ladies! God is good, ALL the time! Praise His holy Name.
In a years time, this will all seem like a very small section of our lives. It seems so big and never ending right now, but we will get through it. It’s been helping me to think long term or at the big picture rather than the here and now, and hopefully this thought will be calming for one of my SRT sisters. I am so excited to see what God creates out of this pandemic! It’s going to be amazing :)
Thank you for all your comments today. They brought tears to my eyes. This verse was laid on me. “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” God is doing something. We must pay attention.
Many ministries across the globe have declared today as a day of prayer and fasting. This is just one resource that may be helpful.
Come Lord Jesus and heal your lands.

Thank you sisters for all of the wisdom you daily share here. Everyday I am blessed through your words.
Our university kids have returned home and I know I will be needing extra patience and grace in the days ahead and starting my day with SRT is the best way to begin,
Kathy my friend delivered twin baby girls last week and I long to see them- i can imagine your longing as a grandma. Praying for all of you sweet friends.
In the quiet of the morning as I sip my tea outside, listening to a melody of bird songs, it is still so difficult to process all the uncertainties that are going on around the world. On this Sunday morning instead of preparing to “go” to church, we are preparing to “watch” church. Did any of us imagine this? BUT GOD….
HE has given us a declaration and a promise that HE will fulfill! On this Sunday morning, we can be assured that our GOD is in control and HE will not forsake us.
Praising Him in the Storm…..
May grace, mercy and peace be yours in abundance today dear Sisters.
With so much uncertainty in the world right now, I’m thankful for God being steadfast, true and never changing.
Laura, I agree. I was thinking the same thing. God knew we would need this right now and I am so very thankful for this study and the reminders that He is faithful and His words are true.
Kathy, praying that even in this stressful and unusual time, you will enjoy the wonder of this miracle gift God is giving to your daughter, her husband and all of you. This baby boy is entering this world in the best possible way – loved! First by His heavenly Father and then by all of you. God chose your daughter and her husband as the parents of this little one. God knows they are the perfect ones for him – and you, the perfect grandmother. The surrounding circumstances of his birth, though difficult and more challenging, do not diminish the gift of new life, straight from the hands and heart of God to all of yours. Does God still do miracles? Have you seen a miracle in your lifetime! Yes!!! With every child born. Every child, a God-given miracle. May you hold onto the wonder of the moment even though it may initially be from the parking lot. Think of how you will tell him the story of his birth one day. A unique one for sure.
Praying for a safe delivery. Praying for God’s peace to blanket you all. And may you all dance for joy when you meet him! It will be so worth the wait!
Love and hugs from one grandmother (I’m a Mimi) to another. How blessed your grandson is.
Laura Theobald, Churchmouse, and Tina, thank you all so much for your words this morning. God used them to bring such peace to my soul. My youngest daughter is expecting her first baby any minute. Her due date was this past Thursday. Right now the hospital where she will be delivering is only allowing one person in with each patient, so we will not be able to be with her. My heart breaks every time I think about it, but I am so thankful for things like FaceTime. Hopefully, we will be able to be together after the baby comes. Please pray for her. Pray that this baby boy will come soon so that they can be at home and not at the hospital. Sara is terrified that things will get so bad that Will won’t be able to be with her either. Please pray for assurance for her.
I am thankful that we are not going through this time alone. We have God and we have our brothers and sisters in Christ. The comments posted during this study offer so much comfort. Thank you, sisters.
Patience is not a concept that I’m very good at, but this sure is a time for patience. The novelty is wearing off and being at home with my family is beginning to test me. Yet, God is good and I find that He calms me and stills my tongue. I join your prayers for this to come to a quick and positive conclusion soon. Yet, God works in His time and His way and we are taught to be patient.
Be still and know that I am God.
Tina, my friend, what a blessing you are. Though we have yet to meet in person, we are of one heart.
All of this downtime gives me opportunity to savor every comment posted by my dear SRT sisters. I go back and reread your words, often taking notes. They feed my spirit all week! Your comments reach from wherever you are to right here – we’re holding hands in solidarity, while maintaining social distancing :)
Praying for us all to stand firm on His promises, to be grateful for all He’s provided, to pray fervently for all who continue to serve so selflessly. May every one be closer to Jesus because of this time.
Right behind you Churchmouse..
If He has promised/declared it, He will deliver us..
Thank you Lord God.. thank you!
Blessings and love from across the pond friend..❤
Does it not amaze you that there is already a promise for this time and season we find ourselves in? That our God, made a promise looooooong ago, and yet still upholds/stands today. The same yesterday, today tomorrow.. His promises have not, will not, never will change.. because He is God, because He cared then, He cares now..and will always care for His beloveds..
Holding fast to this declaration..
If God has spoken it, it is true.
If God had declared it it will happen.
If God has promised it, it will not be broken.
Amen!
Wishing you all a God blessed Sunday! Hope filled for you to see the blessings, even in the confines we find ourselves in right now..love to all, always from across the pond..❤
Amen, Tina!
Amen!❤️
Today’s Scripture reminds us that God “will fulfill the good promise that I have spoken.” Every promise He has uttered in His Word will come to pass. How comforting, encouraging and reassuring is this fact today! In a world of “what if” let’s rest on the truth that He will. God will deliver on His promises and He will deliver His people.
God bless you, Churchmouse. Your words are a comfort to me everyday. Sending love.
Amen Laura Theobold..
God, our God has the bigger picture in His hands..
Stay safe with love sent for a Happy Sunday..❤
It amazes me that this content was planned out months ago, before any of us had heard of COVID-19, yet God knew this was the scripture we would need right now. As I see temporary hospitals going up around the country, military personnel being called in, and life showing no signs of going back to what it was before, how thankful I am to have the promises of God to cling to for hope.
