Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.
This week we will memorize the key verse for 2 Kings, a reminder of the Lord’s faithfulness to His people.
For the sake of his servant David, the Lᴏʀᴅ was unwilling to destroy Judah…
—2 Kings 8:19

You are right Churchmouse. Thank you for that reminder. ❤️
Thank you Chuchmouse!
We don’t often think about the things that God is unwilling to do. He is such a generous God. He is so giving. But He is also unwilling. He is unwilling to forget His promises. He is the promise keeper. He is unwilling that anyone should perish. He is the Savior and deliverer. He is faithful and true. He is unwilling to be fickle. He is unwilling to lie. He is unwilling to be anyone than who He says He is. What comfort that is. What confidence that gives. What assurance. What living hope.
Thank you, Churchmouse.
