Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.
This week we will memorize the key verse for Malachi.
But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.
—Malachi 4:2

Dear friends,
Thank you for your prayers. I’m praying for your requests as well.
I’m blessed by you all every day in so many ways as we meet in this sacred space. Where two or more are gathered. Yes and amen.
Prayers for our SRT sisters and families
Please pray for me and my daughter. For protection. Pray for me for wisdom and an increase in my faith.
Prayers are appreciated this morning as my son and his best friend will be visiting a church today and I’m assuming they’ll visit a few before they decide where God is calling them to plant themselves.
Churchmouse, you are dearly loved here. I was feeling sad regarding the absence of my son and the fact that he took me off sharing location. I get it. He’s an adult. He’s over 300 miles away but he’s an adult. When I read your post. I took the focus off of me and my sadness and I sit here and pray for you and your family. Just like everybody here please know that you are so dearly loved and like everybody else here I also look forward to reading all your insights and wisdom. Godly wisdom that God has given you to give to us. As I can see here you are being covered with prayers. You are loved Churchmouse. And like everybody else I can’t wait for the day that we will all be leaping for joy as we greet one another as one family.
Praying for you and your family, Churchmouse.
Hanging on to these words right now, to keep myself from veering off into sin, and to keep myself from losing hope on the journey.
Churchmouse, I am praying for your family!
Thank you, Churchmouse, for sharing of your family. I pray right now that the sun of righteousness, Jesus, will bring healing to all family members. I am new to this study, and love it!
Praying for you and your family, Churchmouse!
Churchmouse, thank you for your words this morning.
My daughter has been suffering from an illness for the past two years and it’s been such a difficult journey. We too are hanging on to the oxygen mask of God’s word for dear life and continue to cling to His promises.
Thank you for sharing your testimony – such an encouragement for me today. Know this family of believers at SRT joins you in faithful support. And we look forward to the day where we will all go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.
‘The Word’ version of the Bible puts it as, “But for you who fear MY name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing on His wings. (not ‘its’) And you will go free, leaping with joy, like calves let out to pasture.” Churchmouse, when you and your family come out of that water, you won’t just rise to the surface, you will leap with joy!
Churchmouse, thank you for always sharing so many pearls of wisdom with us that we could make a beautiful pearl necklace. Your words are filled with truth and point us to Jesus, and your testimony and your words are powerful. I’m praying for you and your family. May you all find healing at the feet of the Savior as He ministers to all your needs.
We could use a little healing in our family these days. Our oldest granddaughter faces a year of procedures on her sweet face to treat multiple venous malformations. Her younger sister currently has toddler’s diarrhea and hand/mouth disease. And she may have shared it now with her sister. I have a renal tumor and spots of unknown origin on my lungs. My husband injured his foot – the one that had been operated on. It feels like we are being hit with wave after wave and the rescue boat is not yet in sight. What can we do but reach for the oxygen tank and hold on tightly to that lifeline and each other? Should one of us run out of air, we share our masks and keep on aiming for the water’s surface. Our oxygen tank in this stormy season is the Word of our God who gives us strength. We cling to Him and His promises for dear life. And we cling to each other in faithful support, sharing verses that come to mind to keep us unwavering in the right direction. We combat the weariness with the Word. We combat the discouragement with determination. We refuse to fail in our testimony that God is good and He will walk us through this dark valley. He is the Sun of righteousness who has healing in His wings. These difficulties will pass. The surface of the waters will be broken. We may be gasping but our hands will remain in His. He will not let go. He is in our deep waters and He will bring us out.
Praying for you and your family, Churchmouse!
