Day 14

Weekly Truth

Amos 5:24

BY She Reads Truth

Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go.

As we walk through these Minor Prophets together, we are memorizing key verses from our reading. The key verse for the book of Amos reminds us that justice and righteousness are pleasing to the Lord.

But let justice flow like water,
and righteousness, like an unfailing stream.
—Amos 5:24

Write this passage down and post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.

We want to be a community that is intentional about Scripture memorization. Will you join us?

    Love this verse

  2. Lani Edwards says:

Good reminder to treat those around us justly. We all want justice for our own lives but then forget to extend it to others

  3. Joanne says:

From a sermon by Anthony Mathenia “ always leave a lingering memory of the goodness of God”.

Oh how I want the wisdom and justice and righteousness of God to be who I truly am that I might honestly reflect the goodness of Christ.

Alas I am so far from that

I praise God for His daily mercy and grace. I rest in His power to sanctify me and to call that which is as though it is not and vice versa. He is the creator and has done so by His word

  4. Cynthia says:

Come,Lord Jesus! Quickly come! You are our only Redemption! Our hope is in You alone! Amen.

Yes, Lord. Do this. I know the day is coming. Thank you.
