Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go. This week, let’s memorize the last four beatitudes.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
—Matthew 5:7-10

@Michelle Patire so sorry for your loss! It is so hard to lose a furry friend. My heart aches for you. Happy Sunday ladies.
Such a great study time with all of you sisters! This was my first time doing this study and I was amazed by the depth of learning to be done, the overwhelming guidance in these few verses, the clarification of who we are, what our attitude should be about ourselves and toward others. Worth a revisit in the future.
CEE GEE – outstanding work on scripture research, many thanks! ❤️
RHONDA J – continuing to pray for jail ministry, small group and marriage.
ALEIDA – praying for the visit with Victor, sale of items and especially reconciliation
LYNNE FROM AL – oh my goodness! Praying for Jack and for you! ❤️
MICHELLE PATIRE – thankful for the moving prayer service
HEATHER O’MALLEY – hopeful your id was found in time
MARTHA HIX, AZ WALKER, ADRIENNE ❤️
❤️
Thank you Searching for corralling us over to the Beatitudes. It has been so helpful for me to read them each day and try to keep some light and wisdom in my thoughts and prayers. So much turmoil in the world and hard to stay peaceful about it all, but God is in control and the Lord is good all the time. Mari V, I hope your daughter’s photos turn out beautifully, praying for everyone on this beautiful Sunday. My daughter and I are heading to a wedding shower today, praying it will be a wonderful, fun celebration and praying for the couple and their upcoming marriage.
Michelle- I just read your post and my heart aches for you and your family! I too have lost a few furry babies, the last one over a year ago, and I’m still not ready for my own yet. May God’s supernatural peace and comfort come upon you today!
Sisters, thank you for continuing to pray for our son. Lord willing, he arrives tomorrow. However I feel the enemy is already attacking this reunion. My husband and I had a big fight yesterday over the way he treats Victor sometimes (he has no patience with him and forgets that he struggles with ADHD, depression and a ton of anxiety). Thankfully we’ve reconciled but that’s how the enemy attacks our family, by using our son and his issues to split us apart. It’s actually me in the middle of both of them always and it’s SO exhausting. Please pray for supernatural peace for all of us, that Victor is able to sell a lot of his things in storage, that he and his dad have a great week together and that he goes back to CA feeling loved and supported by his family. Thank you all my sisters. I love you and appreciate each one of you!❤️❤️❤️
HEATHER O’MALLEY – praying that your ID is found and that you are able to get on your flight with no problems. God bless you, and Have a safe trip.
Cheryl Blow and Dawn Prenatt, I too feel the same way and wish I could just spend all immersing myself in God’s Word all day! It’s my favorite time of day and I wish it would stay like this all day. It’s a GORGEOUS sunny California Day. I enjoyed spending time yesterday with my best friend and her family at Apple Hill and thankful for her husband who took my daughters senior pictures out there with the BEAUTIFUL fall colors! It was a GREAT way to end my Fall Break! Kelly (NEO), thank you for initiating for all of us to spend these last 4 weeks together. I have enjoyed every morning getting together with all of you and the privilege of praying. I am grateful for all you, CEE GEE, Adrienne, Lynne from Alabama, (thank you for you Congratulations to my son), Michelle Patire, (so grateful you had a beautiful worship night, God is so good), Rhonda J, Nicole Burke, Kimberly Z, Aleida, Sharon Jersey Girl, I hope I didn’t miss anybody. THANK YOU all for getting together every morning and looking forward to tomorrow. Happy SUNDAY and enjoy your places of worship.
MICHELLE PATIRE- I’m so sorry for the loss of your precious little dog. It truly hurts, and please give yourself permission and time to grieve. I was struck by you laying hands on and praying for your dog. You asked God to heal her. Sometimes, I think God answers the prayer to heal by taking our loved ones out of the pain that wasn’t going to heal. I can see that you’re a wonderful and loving dog-mom, and your little terrier knew she was loved.
I am rejoicing with you that your prayer service was a success, and that you felt the Presence of God with you.
@ Heather O’Malley, praying right now.
Good morning, sweet sisters! I have enjoyed so much our time together with these two studies but have missed those who didn’t join us! I look forward to everyone being back together tomorrow!
I had to take Jack to the ER on Thursday. I won’t give any graphic details but we had a couple of horrific days. He is doing much better physically. Please continue to pray for us—healing and peace for him and strength for me (both physically and
emotionally).
MICHELLE PATIRE—I am so sorry for your loss! May God comfort you and your family. I’m so glad God was honored in your worship last night.
RHONDA J—Praise God for what he is doing in your prison ministry group! I am praying for you and your hubby. It is so frustrating because as women we want to talk it out and fix things but men want to clam up and sulk. May God give you the wisdom to know if/when/ words to speak and when to be silent.
NICOLE BURKE—I’m praying for you and your pregnancy as you chase a toddler! Even though it has been over 40 years ago I haven’t forgotten how tiring it is to be pregnant and to have a toddler in the house! Take care of yourself as much as you can! Praying for your corn harvest!
KIMBERLY Z—Praying for your new relationship and for your spirits to be lifted!
MARI V—Congrats to your son on earning his degree!
ALEIDA—Praying for your visit with VIctor,
Praying for all your ongoing requests. Have a blessed day!
It is definitely a fall Sunday in NW Missouri! See you tomorrow for judges, sweet She’s! I am glad you did the legwork in finding these last two, Searching. I didn’t want to have some “grace weeks”that got me out of this wonderful morning habit. (I am striving to get into this routine again, and think it has become part of my day. I have always been in the word daily, but this gives me guidance on WHAT to read.)
Blessed Sunday to all! And you got it, HEATHER!
Good morning, ladies! I have an urgent prayer request. My husband and I are traveling, and are supposed to fly out this morning for the 2nd leg of our trip, and I have lost my ID. We were at a restaurant yesterday afternoon before going to the Notre Dame football game, and I’m praying that I left it there and it was found. I’m waiting for the restaurant to open. Please pray that it’s found! Thank you!
I do wish I could just sit all day and study the Word! I agree, it is my happy place.
Loved this series. Lord, help me be merciful l, pure in heart, a peacemaker, and even the hard one to stand firm and share my faith to the point of being persecuted for righteousness’ sake! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
Thank you so much for your words of comfort and prayers, my friends. I am blessed to know you all here. We truly are family here at She Reads Truth. I am so grateful. Thank you, JESUS.
I was crying all day yesterday as I tried to work through the pain. The Lord blessed me with an easier work day. But emotionally, I was a wreck. I got to the prayer service and they handed me a microphone. I didn’t realize I was still helping to lead worship. So we practiced for 15 minutes to the instrumental tracks. I just went with it because I thought singing through my pain would help the healing. Well, Jesus showed up for us.
Big time. I am grateful to be a vessel. It was so healing to be in a room with a dozen other prayer warriors. I believe we made a crucial impact against the darkness in our area. Everyone was all fired up and encouraged by each other. Thank you, Lord!
I appreciate all the prayers. Truly, we (us Shes included) make an impact TOGETHER on Earth for the kingdom to advance!!! Praise Jesus! I walked out of that room smiling and zealous as ever. I realize the enemy hates me for helping put this thing together and wanted to steal my presence from there. But God’s will was done.
Thankful for you ladies who fueled the fire. Let’s stay in prayer for each other. <3 God bless you all!
Good morning She’s! Thankful for this study in the beatitudes & for being able to share it with each of you. Thank you to @Kelly Neo for the suggestions of these last two studies! Thank you God for not only letting it be a teaching time for the disciples – but also for us. The Lord has certainly taught me some new things through this study for which I am for ever grateful! May I take what I’ve learned & live it out!
@Michelle Patire – I am so sorry for your loss! I can only imagine how you must feel, but am in agreeance with all our sisters. It was not your fault, it was an accident, don’t let Satan big you down with guilt. May Jesus minister to your heart this morning & give you peace. Much love & prayers.
See you all in Judges!
This was an absolutely beautiful study. Every day I was wowed. I loved all of it, the scripture, the devotions, the comments.. thank you ladies for a wonderful few weeks together ❤️ Looking forward to the next study!
And I have to ask bc it’s been on my heart, does anyone else wish they could just spend most their day immersed in the Word and studying it?? I feel so peaceful when I am, everything else stops it seems. It makes me feel like Jesus is sitting with me, and I feel so close to Him!
God bless all of you! Xo
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
Thank you, Father, for your mercy, love, and discipline. Thank you for renewing my heart and spirit. Thank you for each precious SHE and bless each of them and the homes they represent – all for your glory. Amen.
Looking forward to Judges tomorrow!
Thanks be to God that through Jesus I have received mercy.
I am a child of God and will see Him and be with Him in His kingdom.
“Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me to repay each person according to his work. Yes, I am coming soon” (Rev. 22:12,20).
See you Ladies tomorrow in the Judges study. Have a blessed day.
What a wonderful series. Am sad to finish it. Thank you Lord for this beautiful life! I am forever grateful. May I be a shining light for all to see. May I use my many blessings for good. May I always remember to care for myself so that I can better care for those around me. Thank you Father God for revealing deep truths in my life. Please fill me with strength and encouragement to always move forward. Amen!
Enjoyed this a lot!
Very much enjoyed this series!
Haha I second that! Hope your daughter’s nausea is getting better.
Well, bless my socks off! The Advent study starts today! So glad I closed The Beatitudes and reached for Advent 2016. I thought it started tomorrow – which is silly of me because of course our SRT leaders know today is the first Sunday of Advent. They wouldn’t start us out behind lol. So… A second cup of coffee and more time in the Word with you precious friends. Doesn’t get much better than that!!
Merciful. Pure in heart. Peacemaker. Persecuted for righteousness’ sake. That’s what we are and we are blessed. Blessed because, in and through life on this earth, we receive mercy, a vision of God, the right to be called His sons and the kingdom of heaven itself. Not a bad trade off. Ahhhh but let’s not be flippant. For us to so receive, it cost Him a walk to the Cross. That is a sobering reality. How fitting that this study of the Beatitudes should end on the first Sunday of Advent. Advent. Arrival. Emmanuel. God with us. He who came to save us, to bless us. Thank you SRT for preparing me for Advent. Looking forward to opening the study guide tomorrow. I know I will find blessing grounded in Truth. Advent. Arrival. Waiting, expectantly.
