weekly truth

Open Your Bible

Matthew 6:10

Today, as a body of women, let’s meditate on and memorize God’s word. Not for our own glory or honor, but for the joy of our Father and the growth of His Truth in our hearts.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10

Somebody once told me, “the best way to make God laugh is to make a plan,” and it’s so true. We can try to plan & organize our lives till we’re blue in the face, but we really have no idea what He has in store for us. All we can be sure of is that it’s for the best, and that we can trust His judgement. Easier said than done, I think, but something to work towards…

I love the thought of God laughing at our plan! I am such a planner and get discouraged and frustrated when they don't work out.
I am so thankful for this study and all of my friends here on SRT in helping me become closer to God and see the different thoughts we share! Praise God for his love and all of you!

  3. Tracy B, May i add my welcome.
A very good friend of mine once said when on a journey, if in a hurry, go alone. If not, (in a hurry ) go with friends.
It is true that we are all on a journey of faith, albeit at different stages, yet we walk together, encouraging , sharing, loving, praying, hoping with and for each other…..
    So welcome Tracy B. X

    Welcome Tracy B!!
So glad you’ve found this amazing site! I found it back in December and haven’t missed a day since. It has been life changing. I rededicated myself to Christ and have been going to church regularly with my kids. But my favorite time is the time I spend daily reading His word, writing it it in a journal and on my heart, getting to know Him better. I get soo much more understanding by reading all these posts by women all over the world! It’s a wonderful community of Sisters united in Christ. You are amongst friends! :)

Hello Ladies, I am new to this site. I only found it 3 days ago but I have been here everyday since and have joined this plan. I was able to catch up because the devotions and reading really speak to my heart. Today I went to church services for the first time in years. I just want to thank you all for being here and I look forward to being with you all on my journey of faith. Thank you and have a blessed day!

We are all glad you are here! God bless you on our journey, He will never leave you nor forsake you!

  6. On thursday I posted an image on my site that illustrates what I have to do to get to the point of saying "not my will, but Yours". I think this whole week for me has been about yielding my will to The Father's. I have to rewire my thinking. If you are interested take a look at my blog. Much Grace Ladies

Asking the Lord for confirmation to move forward before opening up a business from home. Reading the above post this morning was just a continuation…a perfect reminder to seek the Lord's direction before running with my own plans. The Lord's prayer. His will is so perfect and I want nothing less.

    Bless you my SRT sisters!
