Sisters,
We are writing to you with aching hearts and swirling minds. We are weak. In helplessness we have laid this already before The Lord, and now we ask you to intercede with us on behalf of Diana – one of our writers.
On Monday, Diana’s precious son Kaden was born with some breathing issues. And even then, they headed back to the hospital, carseat in tow, expecting to take him home on Thursday.
Yesterday (Friday), the Stone family learned that their precious child’s heart has severe circulation problems and he was airlifted to Dallas that night. We don’t have a lot of details (as neither do Mama and Daddy), but we know that while he is stable now, his heart ventricles aren’t able to sustain this precious body and that with no change, their only hope is to await a transplant that could take months.
We are broken. So broken for our sister that we are coming to you as the body of Christ to join us in storming the gates of Heaven on the Stone family’s behalf.
We know that many of you have lived through very similar circumstances with varying outcomes. And we know the truth – that The Lord does not promise that life will be perfect or easy or without deep pain.
But we absolutely also know that there is nothing that will separate us from the love of God. And we absolutely know that He is good and that He is at work and that He is pow-er-ful to work wonders in this circumstance in which every one of us feels positively powerless.
Pray with us. Storm Heaven’s gates with us. Lord, your glory above all. Lord, a miracle for the Stones, please. We pray boldly and without fear to our sovereign God who is not surprised and who cares deeply for Kaden – even more deeply than his frightened mommy and daddy.

I am praying for Kaden! I have a Caden of my own. He was our miracle baby after two miscarriages. We chose the name Caden because it means “warrior” and we knew he was our little warrior. He was the one that made it. Kaden is a warrior and he has the mighty warrior working on his behalf. God, we love you and we know that you love KADEN. You knit every bit of him together! Heavenly Father, I believe with all my heart that nothing is impossible with you. You formed Kaden in his mothers womb and you know everything about him. I pray for your mercy for the Stone family, that you will bring healing to Kaden's heart and that he will grow into a man of God and will witness to your healing power. Father, I praise You because You are still a God of miracles! I praise You and stand amazed that nothing surprises You or catches You off guard! Nothing is too hard for You! My prayers for Kaden are already sent! I pray that God's will be done and that in the end He gets all the glory, in Jesus name. Right now I pray for the strength of his parents, not only physically and emotionally but spiritually. I have seen God work miracles big and small for my loved ones, including me, so I KNOW he'll do it for precious little Kaden. God is always in control!

I saw Diana post this on her FB page earlier today. I'm continuing to pray for her and her family, especially at the many hardships they've had this past year.
Father God we are claiming your healing power over precious baby Kaden. Be with Mom and Dad and strengthen them for the days ahead. In Jesus Name Amen.

AS a result of a severe enlargement of a duct in the heart my 2 year old has ventricular issues and mitral valve problems as well as a lot of swelling of the heart. Her intial diagnosis was very bad, we talked pallative care options for our then 10mth old but God kept trying to tell me he had her in the palm of his hand and I wouldn't listen, I was too busy being angry. She defied and continues to defy everything they worried about, I named her Grace because her arrival was my piece of Grace but she proved that her existence is Grace itself. God helps these surgeons do wonderful things and he sat with me for the 20 hrs+ I have spent waiting for her to come out of surgeries. Although CHD can seem so bad at the beginning, as someone a ways down the road, I see SO much light here now. Diana will be here soon enough, with God's amazing grace. When I was angry, God gave me the words to the poem footprints, as a mother with a sick child that he will carry you all is the most comforting thing. Prays <3

Lord Jesus, please be with Kaden and his mommy and daddy. Please help the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. Please bring people to come alongside his mommy and daddy to help sustain them. And most of all, Jesus, we pray for a donor. We pray for that baby's family, that they can choose to honor their child's life by giving to another. We pray that you will care for all them during these hours and days. Thank you Jesus for listening to the cries of our hearts and for giving us hope. Amen

Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, we come before You on bended knee. There are so many precious babies fighting for their life this very night! You know each one by name! We pray specifically now for Kaden. As only You can, please help this family cling to You because You are The Anchor that holds! Father may Your Presence be made known in the room with Kaden! Grant the doctors wisdom to know what is best for him. Please give his mom and dad peace as they draw near to You and to each other. O Lord Jesus we ask for healing of his little body! I will be praying… Do you happen to know the name of the heart defect? Not that it matters, I work in pediatric intensive care in Iowa and our "specialty" are pediatric heart surgeries, just wanted to be specific in my prayers, although I guess God knows either way ;-)

Dear Lord, you are our Father and the giver of life. We boldly ask healing for little Kaden. You created his tiny body and you know it better than anyone. Grant the Stone's your peace- the kind of peace that cannot be explained without you. I also ask extra grace for Diana, as she has already been through so much having just given birth. Comfort her mama heart in a special way. We ask these things by claiming the name of Jesus, amen.
