Many of you have asked for physical materials to enhance your study experience.
BUT, we didn’t want to just throw any old thing out there – we wanted to make it truly special! SO, we waited. And planned. And dreamed! We partnered fellow SheReadsTruth-er (and phenomenal designer!) Emily Lex at Jones Design Company to make something truly lovely and genuinely useful – our very first SRT Study Pack!

The She Reads Truth community will begin a study of Nehemiah Monday, May 12th.
It is a 17-day study of compassion, covenant and community – a beautiful Old Testament book for our community to walk through together as we are also laboring to build an app to share with the world! (Such cool timing!)
The study pack is an optional resource you can use to enhance your experience as you read Nehemiah with your SheReadsTruth family. It will be a tool for accountability, organization, and learning.
The Nehemiah Study Pack includes:
- 1-8×10 Scripture print designed by Jones Design Company and printed on watercolor paper
- 2- super nice, wallet-sized scripture memorization cards to correlate with Weekly Truths
- 1- 8×10, 34-page booklet including:
- gorgeous, full-color cover printed on watercolor paper
- informative, watercolored map of Jerusalem in Nehemiah’s day
- daily scripture references (correlating to the online reading plan)
- key verses for each day
- dot-grid study area for writing and sketching
- two lined writing areas for prayer and life application
- Weekly Truth pages with useful memorization tips and areas to study the selected verses
- and a lovely, watercolored benediction on the inside back cover (which you can also remove and frame, if you like)
Study Packs are available to purchase here, and the order deadline is midnight CST, Sunday, May 4th (we want to be sure they arrive in plenty of time to begin the study on the 12th!).
Also, we’re offering FREE DOMESTIC + DISCOUNTED INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING through Saturday midnight. (Yes, you asked for International, and we just can’t say no to you!)

Just got mine in the mail today, and it is gorgeous! I may actually frame the Nehemiah 8:10B print. Can’t wait to join in on the study on Monday! I hope you provide more study packs in the future (for those of us who are the pen and paper type).
Maybe there could be a scholarship or some free studies give n to accommodate those who would love to have a copy? I am purchasing one as I need the tangible copy… It looks beautiful!

I ordered this time because Nehemiah has a special place in my heart and I LOVE the map. And because I want to support you guys so that you know there is a legit want out here. Keep it up! But next time, like others have said, it's a little out of my price range. What you have done is beautiful! But a less expensive printable version might be something to consider. Either way, its beautiful and we are ever so thankful for it!

I can’t wait to buy this study pack and I love the book of Nehemiah as well! However, how will this reading plan differ from your past Nehemiah plan which I loved so much? (Genuinely just wondering, I’m a believer in rereading something more than once and learning something new).

I absolutely love the study guide materials, but even more so, I LOVE that we're going to Nehemiah– I've been wanting to go through it for awhile but have never gotten around to it!! I'm so happy! I'm giving all this to the Lord right now in regards to my schedule and the packet for my budget. I totally respect that the design/printing costs make it $24, and I trust that as the Lord continues to guide and instruct you He'll address all these needs & feedback you/readers have! This is AWESOME!!!! I subscribe to Emily's monthly calendar pack (this is my second year!) so I am obviously a huge fan of her work! It will be so neat to have such a beautiful book to use during study every morning. I really love the idea of the study companion! As some have mentioned, maybe for future study plans, make it downloadable option too that way it won't cost as much for those of us with tight funds. :) Also, for those that live out of the US, they can download and print out. That would save on international shipping! And they would still have the material.
I personally would love the download versions because I already have an awesome journal I use. I could cut out and adhere stuff into my journal. :)

Emily did an amazing job on these but yeah not in my budget :( I'm sure it's worth every penny though as it looks like it is nice quality. I think I would be more inclined to purchase it if it wasn't for only one study. Maybe a smaller, less expensive one for individual studies or one like this that might include multiple studies. That said I realize the high price of print and design so I'm sure you're not trying to make this a "moneymaker."

I LOVE these- and I really hope you make them available for intetnational purchase in the future! I’d gladly pay for shipping to Canada (because I get it, that’s expensive). Or at the very minimum, a digital download. I hate missing out on things like this because of shipping and I’m more than willing to support SRT, so please consider this in the future. Yeah, I think a while back Amanda said they were off YouVersion for good because it started to not work with what they felt led to do. :( I hope it doesn't inconvenience you too much!

It's beautiful & I was sooo excited till I saw the price. Unfortunately $24 for a 34 page booklet is way out of my budget. But I will still be following you all in the study :-)
We absolutely get it! It's a cross between a study guide and a collection of art, as the map, benediction, cover etc are all hand painted on watercolor paper. It's seriously gorgeous but it's also completely supplemental — not at all required to join in the studies as usual. Thanks for your feedback, Michelle! xo

So Exciting!!! What an awesome thing. SRT ladies, y'all are really reaching out, stepping out of the boat! I'm so glad to be on this journey with you! I can't say enough how much this community has changed my life. Although we don't walk and talk and drink coffee at the same kitchen counter, dining room table, comfy couch, starbucks…. we're all in this together!! Walking, Talking, Learning, Worshiping, Drinking (coffee of course!)
All i know is there better be a very large (and ever flowing) coffee shop in heaven to house all of us!!
I was a lost soul, seriously. Wandering from bible study to bible study. Feeling disconnected. But I found SRT when I searched on YouVersion and there y'all were. Real people, with real struggles, willing to share them, out loud. And talk about your fears and doubts and this parenting thing and marriage thing and this Jesus thing in ways that I could relate. This is year 2 for me with SRT and I love this community of women (and yes I'm fanning the tears as I type this) and it has changed me.
I'm excited to "stand on the wall" through Nehemiah!

Ah Shelly!! I feel the exact same way! Yesterday my dad and I were talking about churches because I've been praying that Christ would show me where He'd want me to go… I miss the fellowship, the close friendship, the giving and serving and receiving there. When we were talking he said, "Anna, what's a church to you?" It's a place to study the word with other Christ-lovers… to share in real, open fellowship… to give, to serve in any way I could… to receive the Lord's blessings through the spirit and through other people there, to wash feet and to have my feet be washed… to be transformed with others as we all journey in seeking God's face more closely each day… and as I talked more about how I couldn't find a good women's fellowship, how it just never seems to work out and it gets discouraging, my dad said, "Honey, your women's small group is SheReadsTruth." It really opened my eyes to how much God has worked through SRT!
I may not have a stable church home, and I may feel like a drifter or outcast in this season of life, but the Lord has COMPLETELY blessed me through SheReadsTruth. What started out as a 30-minute devotional, something supplementary, God has ended up creating a place of groundbreaking growth and consistent truth in my life– and loving, beautiful friendships/mentors to look up to. I only hope I can start serving as much as I've received, monetarily and/or through encouraging others in comments!

Exactly! I feel the same way, Shelly! My first reading plan was Soul Detox. It was unlike anything I had ever read or experienced before in a bible study. I wish I could find an actual church in my community that is a physical version of SRT. So happy to be on this journey with you, Shelly!

How can you charge $24 and feel at peace about it? That’s twice as much as most books! Books that people have taken months, often years to write. It feels like a money grab.

Our community has consistently asked (begged!) for tangible study resources for over a year now, and we're excited to finally be in a position to offer it. It is absolutely not intended to make anyone feel excluded but only to enhance the experience of those who desire a supplemental resource. As a designer I know that printing prices depend on edition rates – the higher an edition is, the cheaper the end-price. This might be the reason for this relatively high price.
Accusing SRT of money grabbing and doing this anonymously sounds a bit unfair to me. :(
$24 is a lot of money, hands down. BUT, these guys put more into the SheReadsTruth community than any of us could probably ever fathom. Personally, it is a blessing every single day. Also, just from the pictures alone, the quality looks pretty fantastic (much more than the average book)–watercolor paper isn't cheap! But if you do the math, that's about 70 cents a page–not to bad I think!
At the end of the day though, I see where you're coming from, and it's a fair perspective. But like Amanda said, the free online community won't change a bit! We're all still here reading God's truth every day–hoping you'll continue to join us : )
I agree. For a 17 day study the price is high. That's basically $2 a day, and most study journals retail around 16-18 for several months of the same thing! That being said it is beautiful, but in the future I would try to make it more affordable.
