The heartache and sorrow of this world is enough to break us and can often feel like the inevitable end. And though we may look out and see a world twisted and marred by sin, God has promised to make everything new. How this will happen is largely a mystery, and this is why God’s promise to make all things new just might be the one that requires the greatest amount of faith.

Through the cross, God has made a way for His goodness to permeate our world and overtake the curse of sin. He has promised to make all things new, including the brokenness we see in and around us. We glimpse this final outcome as Revelation 21:3–4 says, “grief, crying, and pain will be no more.” We trust that this will be reality one day because of the One who made this promise, and we seek Him to understand how we can bring pieces of that promise to our world through our loving action now.

Hi sisters! Thank you to all who prayed over my son whos currently in a mental facility. They changed his medicine, and he says his body feels calm and his mind feels quiet. Im shouting praise to God for this and I ask you all do, too! As for my reflux, the famotidine is working well, and I swapped from coffee to tea. I feel worlds better. I also started new herbal supplements for stress that are helping immensely. Thank you all for praying over us. God is so kind to give us so many loving people.

My wife has Parkinson’s disease, adding PD-5 to her nighttime Parkinson’s meds has completely changed her sleep issues. she slept all day and up all night, we had to hire care nurses. Now using this PD-5 medicine for the last six months and a normal routine she sleeps almost completely through the night and may get up once to use the restroom. It’s improved so much we were able to let go of the night nurses. This medicine also helps a ton with memory. we got the treatment from uinehealth centre . c om I am absolutely confident that this program offers a viable solution. it’s not a cure all but it does work, I hope you find it helpful, and I wish you a full recovery!

“What no eye has seen, no ear has heard,
and no human heart has conceived—
God has prepared these things for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

    Sister Shes
I love how the Scriptures today are especially & elegantly interwoven.
I love how this verse reverberates my spirit & soul.
I love how there is a rationale & reckoning higher than any human understanding.
I love how He will redeem & rescue this “sinful & twisted world”.
    I love how LOVE
will always be the last word.

    1. Tina says:

      Amen, GWINETH52 And i love your words.❤️

This popped up on my socials and wanted to share

    1. Gwineth52 says:

Somehow, Kristy, this reminds me of the song in the Broadway musical from the ‘80s, “Jesus Christ Superstar, where Mary Magdalene sings …
      “Three things I pray:
      To see thee more clearly
      To follow thee more nearly
      To love thee more dearly
Day by day by day by day”
(And yes, that musical is from the “church calendar” of my age & times!)

      1. Cee Gee says:

Gwineth, me, too, and that song was a favorite of mine. I haven’t thought of it in years, but I will be singing it in my head like the ‘old’ days – funny, today is really the old days!

    2. Cee Gee says:

  18. Cheryl Blow says:

No more pain! As I’m sitting here with frozen peas on my wrist and another ice pack on my arm, I’m exited for no more pain! Who would think a broken wrist, even with pain meds could hurt so bad!

But I love how God uses the things in our life to drive home a Biblical lesson. No, I don’t believe caused this but I love how He doesn’t waste a thing!

Also, I know this temporary pain is not like my dear friends cancer pain or anyone else’s pain!
But God sees each of us and walks through our struggles, big and small! He is never too busy to listen to us and gently reminds us that this world is not our home! We have a hope and a promise of a better perfect home in heaven!

He is a good, good Father! Thank you Lord for loving a sinner like me and blessing me beyond what I could ever think or imagine or deserve!

    1. Tina says:

Michelle, make sure the peas dont get out, they will be escapees otherwise!:)
Hope you feel better sooooooooooooon. ❤️

    2. Cee Gee says:

Yes, Cheryl. A dear friend once admonish ed me when I responded to her probe into my prayer needs. Her family had so much going on and I said my issues were nothing like theirs. She told me what you just said that God sees all and cares the same- big or small, and that I should never hesitate to share a need. That was many years ago and she is no longer with us, but what a mentor she was! Praying your pain is diminished to manageable very soon! ❤

  19. Sharon Jersey Girl says:

Everyday we are hit with news of some sadness – someone else diagnosed with cancer, someone dying, someone being killed tragiclly, loss of job or home. There are so many tears shed. But God. He will create a new heaven and a new earth. There will be no more death. He will wipe away every tear. And I love how he tells John – write these things down because they are true. He wanted us to be assured that, yes – it is all true. If God said it, I believe it – that settles it! All His promises are “yes” and “amen”!
    ——
Thank you Father God for the promises of your word. I praise you because You are righteous and true, Your word is truth. I praise You because every promise in the Book is mine – every chapter, every verse, every line. To You alone be the glory, honor & praise. Amen.

  20. Annie says:

These verses really stood out to me that we can know God deeply and even know some of His thoughts.
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, since the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except his spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.

    1. Annie says:

      adding some exclamation points !!!!

  21. Michelle P says:

    Dear Lord,
Thank you for carrying our burdens for us, when we were not even yet alive. Thank you for dying on our behalf, so we can have life without suffering, one day. God, please be with my sisters who are suffering, and remind them of the joy ahead. God, please console them and give them sweet sleep and peace. They are Yours and Your beloved daughters. Please hear their hurting hearts and help them to know You are going to one day give them a body that only knows JOY instead of pain & sorrow. Lord, You are so so so good. We love you. Thank you. We praise you! In the name of Jesus and His eternal victory, amen. ❤️

WOW! what a magnificent truth to hang on to: everything made new, nothing from the past will be remembered. We do know that our lives on this earth are peppered with troubles, so to think we won’t ever have those again…. can’t hardly comprehend… but, like I said yesterday, I am trusting in God’s word that this is all true!! He is faithful to His promises!

  23. Cee Gee says:

Blessed Mama, it can be confusing. This is what 2″ of my regular resources say:
    NKJV Wiersbe Study Bible –
God saves the best for the last: His description of the “new heavens and a new earth” (the millennial kingdom). This is not the same as John’s “new heaven and new earth” (Rev. 21:1ff.), because the characteristics Isaiah gives do not fit the eternal state. As far as we know, in the eternal state people will not get old or die (Is. 65:20), nor will there be any danger of losing anything to invaders (vv. 21–23). Jerusalem will be a source of joy, not only to the Lord but to the whole earth. It will be a city of holiness, harmony, and happiness. During the millennial kingdom, people will work, and God will bless their labors. People will pray, and God will answer (v. 24). Nature will be at peace (v. 25) because the curse will be lifted.
    .
NKJV MacArthur Study Bible 2nd Edition –
Isaiah 65:20- No more shall an infant . . . Nor an old man. Long life will prevail in the millennial kingdom. In the temporal phase of the kingdom, death will happen, but not nearly so early as in the time of Isaiah. sinner . . . accursed. In the millennial phase of Israel’s kingdom, a sinful person may die at age 100, but will be considered a mere youth at the time of his premature death. Having died an untimely death at such a youthful time, it will be assumed that God has taken his life for sin. The curse will be reversed in the Millennium, but it will not be removed until the eternal state (cf. Rev. 22:3).
    .

Isaiah 65:23 – Nor . . . for trouble. Lit. this means “for sudden death.” Subjects in the kingdom will enjoy freedom from ordinary misfortunes related to the premature death of infants. There will be the lowest infant mortality rate ever. Along with longer life (v. 20), this means the earth will be greatly populated at an exponential rate of reproduction. Cf. Rev. 20:7–9 for the massive collection of people at the end of the kingdom who come against Christ.

What a gift it will be of not remembering past events. My life has been emotionally painful and to think all that will be wiped away.

Oooo, Traci, that just makes me look forward all the more..my life of old.. forgotten.
Indeed a Yes and Amen to that!❤️

  25. Rhonda J. says:

It’s the fantasy as old as time- A perfect world, living in happiness, abundance, and peace. An Utopia Society. Every generation longs for their perfect world and life. Isn’t is funny how it changes though as you keep going through life? The things we think will make us happy- we get them, and we are still reaching for the next wants. Things, relationships, houses, and money. Yet, all tangible and fleeting. We get bigger homes and more stuff, just to want to downsize and get rid of all the stuff.
Our needs become more wants, to fill our hearts, and to balm our souls.
I watched my parents work tirelessly to give their children the wants and things to make us happy. Then, they were lucky to buy their dream property and have a simple lifestyle in their later years. But it didn’t even last long because my mom passed away unexpectedly at 69, then my dad surprised us all by selling the property a year later and remarrying! Life just keeps moving along.
My memory verse this week in my study is one that was here a few days ago- Mat 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Seek the kingdom- not things here on earth. For they shall all pass away, and things will be made new! Hard to imagine, as we grip the things of this world that give us the alluding happiness…the unicorn. We will never be fully satisfied here, because God created us for Him and His kingdom. I am glad I have recognized this sooner than later. Thank you Lord, that I seek after you, chase what YOU have for me, and find comfort and peace in you alone Lord!!

    1. Penny Allen says:

      Well said and amen!

  27. Blessed Mama of 6 says:

Not only do we get to experience heaven one day, but we will also be able to experience a NEW heaven and a NEW earth.
I’m having a hard time understanding Is. 65, verses 20-23 in particular. Rev. 21:4 says that there will be no more death, but yet in Isaiah it sounds like when God creates the new heavens and new earth that there will be death again.

Thank you Cee Gee! That’s very helpful.

        1. Cee Gee says:

    2. Terri Bottiglio says:

@blessedMama I was confused too, but found this explanation in the Enduring Word Bible Commentary >

Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: As the ultimate answer to the problem of man’s sin, God will create new heavens and a new earth. This takes place after the millennium, the glorious thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ, when this very earth and sky is done away with and God makes new heavens and a new earth.

From John’s context we see that this new heavens and a new earth comes after the Great White Throne judgment (Revelation 20:11-15) and is connected not with the millennial earth, but with the eternal state.

If all we had to go by was Isaiah’s statement, we would automatically connect this new heavens and a new earth with the millennial earth, because immediately after Isaiah 65:17-19, we clearly find the millennial earth described. But based on what we find in 2 Peter and Revelation, we must see that Isaiah is in the prophetic habit of switching quickly from one time frame to another, speaking of the eternal state in Isaiah 65:17, and of the millennial earth in Isaiah 65:20-25.

Isaiah (20-25) The blessed state of the millennial earth.

    3. Allison Bentley says:

@Blessed Mama and @Terri She reads Truth did a study previously on the theme of making all things new and it is sooo helpful if you are wanting to do a deeper dive!

      1. Blessed Mama of 6 says:

Thank you, Allison! I did think of that study, and I was reading through it when it came out. With the help that Cee Gee and Teri mentioned above, it was the millennial earth/kingdom that I was missing. I know that Scripture doesn’t contradict itself, and so I figured that I had to have been missing something here. Thank you ladies for helping me out. ❤️

        1. Cee Gee says:

It was good for me to read that, too, Blessed Mama so thank you for braving the question! I just this week printed out a notebook full of material on the Millennial for a friend and for me. Looking forward to diving into that! ❤

    1. Emily Burke says:

Lynne it is such a blessing to know that he is no longer in pain anymore. He has been made whole and is with his Savior. Yet as I lost my dad a little over a month ago to cancer there is a void that he left here on earth Praying for the Lord’s nearness for you and your family as you walk through this. I hope you will see as I have that God truly is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and He does bind up our wounds ( Psalm 147:3) ❤️❤️

    2. Dianne says:

      God bless you both.

As I struggle with thoughts of becoming a burden to my family at some point down the road since I was diagnosed with early onset Parkinsons disease about 6 years ago at the age of 49, it has been encouraging to see those of you who are caregivers who have been able to walk through those difficult times with God’s sustaining grace.

We will all be here praying for you and holding you up. Thank you for sharing with us. Hugs and much love to you.❤️

  32. Searching says:

Rev 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
    .
Sisters, we can trust ‘these’ words! All of them! Even though and even as we have suffering here, He will bless us, He is always with us, He has a future and a hope for us, He will forgive our sins when we confess them and set us free from sin, He will give us peace and rest, He will give us abundant life and provide for us, He will give us eternal life in the everlasting home He has for us, He will come again and He will make all things new!
    .
Do I understand the how, the why or the when of His words and promises? No, but I believe in Him, have faith in Him and trust His words.
    .
As GWINETH52 ❤️ said yesterday about grasping the truth of eternity with our Father and His Son Jesus –

  34. LaRae Taylor says:

Thank you God for being our refuge and strength. This world is not our final destination.

Some of you have been praying for my husband who has a lemon size mass on his breast
Yesterday when we called community care they informed us the orders were put in incorrectly AGAIN and were cancelled- so now round three just to get a mammogram. It is so very frustrating I’m sure you all have been there. I’m a pretty calm joyful person but this has my anxiety through the roof.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.”
    .
One fine day, this will be all I know and the troubles of this life will be like the morning mist over a lake that disappears with the rising sun.
    .

  36. Diana Davis says:

    Gracious and Almighty God,

We come before You in awe and wonder, praising Your holy name! You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the One who reigns over all creation. From the foundations of the earth to the eternal future You have prepared, You are faithful and true.

Lord, we rejoice in Your promise to make all things new! You are the God of restoration, the God of renewal, the God who brings life from death and light from darkness. Even now, You are working in ways we cannot see—transforming hearts, healing brokenness, and making beauty rise from ashes.

Thank You for the hope You have given us in Christ, for through Him, we are made new. Thank You for the gift of salvation, for the renewing work of Your Spirit, and for the assurance that one day, every tear will be wiped away, every sorrow will cease, and Your perfect peace will fill all creation.

Lord, as we wait for the fulfillment of Your promise, help us to live as people of renewal. Let our lives reflect Your kingdom, our words proclaim Your truth, and our hearts overflow with the joy of what is to come. Strengthen us in faith, sustain us in hope, and fill us with love as we walk in the certainty of Your promise.

We give You all glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy!

In the name of Jesus, who is making all things new, we pray.

    Amen.

  37. Marilyn Jones says:

God loves us so much that He wanted to give us everything he could. There’s so many that just doesn’t listen. He could make this a beautiful world if everyone would listen. That’s why one day He will bring down from heaven a new place for his believers to live forever. I love God with all my heart.

  38. Kathy says:

“For we do not have an enduring city here; instead we seek the one to come.” Heb. 13:14
This world is not my home. There is a better one coming. But, while I am here I need to: “Build houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat their produce…seek the welfare of the city…” (Jer. 29: 5-7)
Lord, while I am still here keep me focused on the urgency of sharing the Gospel with those around me who do not know you. Make me a light so lovely that others want to know the source of it.
    Have a blessed weekend!

    1. Carol H says:

      Amen ❤️

    2. Gwineth52 says:

      Yes, Kathy!
“Make me a light so lovely that others want to know the source of it.”
One of my favorite lines of all times from Madeline L’Engle.

  39. Sally B. says:

Looking to this world for hope would certainly lead us down a road to discouragement and hopelessness. Oh but sisters – eye has not seen nor ear heard what our gracious, creator God has in store (for all eternity) for those who love Him!! Give thanks for the short glimpses we see here and now, but cling fiercely to the hope of the new, redeemed, perfect, sinless environment we get to share with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who made it all possible!
    Hallelujah and Amen!!

    1. Sharon Jersey Girl says:

      Amen! ❤️

  40. Tina says:

The heartache and sorrow of this world is enough to break us and can often feel like the inevitable end.
    .
    Tell me about it!
    .
In the 66 years I’ve been here, I have seen things. I have been things. I have known things. I have watched things unfold and gasped!
    .
    BUT GOD..
    .
He has been my Rock, my Comforter, my Hope my PROMISE keeper. Of course this understanding and working towards, has not always been my life. No siree!.
    .
I have messed up! I have been messed with! I have seen messes around me.
    BUT GOD..
    .
Each time, in each instance and moments He has seen me through..
I remember calling my daddy, collect, one day, not long after Julee died. I told him I couldn’t cope and that there seemed to be no purpose to my life.. I was so heartbroken, lost and feeling hope-less..
Daddy listen to my words and when I drew breathe, he said. “Chris, did you wake up this morning..” I said yes Daddy.
Daddy said, “..that’s right Chris, this is a new day. You have had life’s worst thing happen, and it will take time to live again, but each day you wake up, that is a new day, a day the Lord gives.. A day to see His goodness and His grace and love.. Never give up! ”
These words of my earthly father have brought comfort in some dark times, because I have remembered them.. Yes we have NEW days, in which to have new beginnings, new insights, new reflections, new grace, new hope… Though these are beautiful things in the here and now, the bigger promise of ‘All things new’ outshines them all.
Believing in the promise of what’s to come, and how it will be, spurs me on,
.’.a new heaven and earth… God will live with them (us) He will wipe away tears, death, grief, crying and pain will be no more, (HALLELUJAH). All these things that break our hearts and cause deep pain, no more!
Aren’t these the most wonderful beautiful words you’ll read today?
‘Look, I am making ALL things new. Write,( for these are a promise from the great I AM, FAITHFUL AND TRUE, GOD) for these words are faithful and true..’
My feet are moving in joy, and my heart beating to the beat of our Father Gods love, care, hope and forever promises..I
    .
    It is well.
    .
Let us go in peace, knowing He has made this promise, and He is a promise keeper, always has been, always will be..
    .
    It is well.
    .
Today I end with not just an AMEN, but a YES too, because His promises are a YES in Christ..
    .
Happy Friday. Covered in much love, hugs and prayers..❤
For those needing extra hugs covered in comforting prayers, you’ve got it!❤
