Grace Day. How I love it. I am late to the party. I know many of you love the book of Daniel, but I have a difficult time and am slogging through it. So much difficult prophecy for me to wrap my head around. So thankful (as was mentioned earlier this week) that we know how the story ends!

I’m reading these and walking steps to stay current and also play catch up and also get my 10k steps in today.
ONE more thing! Please pray for my daughter who just texted me that she is going “Whale Watching” this morning. She’s never been on a boat. But I told her it’s quite the experience to see God’s creation at sea.

I can “hear” the train that’s about 2 miles away. It’s a quite and much cooler morning. So glad I was able to get myself out of bed and enjoy the “morning” after the sun has come up. Most weekdays are still dark and the sun peeking out as I leave for work and it’s only get darker. But this morning…I’m loving it! LORD you are great for blessing me with a beautiful morning! Missing my kiddos SO much! Last night went for a Target run and afterwards took a little detour drive home, listening to some of their favorite music and thanking God for blessing me with my amazing children. In two weeks I’ll visit my daughter for the day, and next week while I’m on Fall break taking a drive to SF to spend the day with my son. Sigh….God is good! I will be asking for prayer that day as driving to SF can be intense. Happy Saturday sweeties!

Spending the weekend at my daughters’s college family weekend. It should be refreshing and a chance to show her her the love of Jesus.
Enjoy Margaret making those memories with your daughter.
My daughter’s college doesn’t do that, but I remember when my son went to Biola they did have a day like that. Have fun!!! I’m looking forward to taking my own trip to visit my girl.

“blessing” the Lord always sounded funny to me because I think of the word “bless” is the “giving good things” like how GOD BLESSES us! Or being thankful for our blessings.
So I’m always thinking “how can WE bless God..HE IS the I AM. We can’t bless him with anything. He NEEDS nothing from us.
But we bless him by giving him ourselves. It blesses him; pleases him, adores him, reveres him.
