Faith in Jesus Christ is what justifies us, when we claim our own faith we think that we are in control and God is not, then we wonder why our world is failing. Place our faith in God and build your house on the rock so it won’t fall because God is our firm foundation on which we stand!!!

I loved going through this study again!! It’s always a good thing to read through the entire Bible often! Even an overview like this points us to the Redemption story, highlighting the importance of each book is so good!! With all my studies/groups it is hard to read through again myself. But want to make sure it gets done. I actually like to listen to audible ministers that read through the Bible and give commentary on it. Two that I love, with totally different personalities, is Jon Courson with Searchlight ministries and Chuck Missler with 66/40 (Koinonia House). Also Tara Cobb is good.
We all our separated from God…yet…He MADE A Way. The ONLY way. It is an amazing love and reality. Yet our society has gone so astray from this fundamental knowledge. Christians have been painting into a strange category, but it shouldn’t surprise us. I have said for decades that persecution is coming here to the US, and if your eyes aren’t open yet, and you still think there is no danger, I tell you to wake up. Yes we do see some revivals and many positives, but we are letting history repeat itself because we aren’t in the word, and seeing the world happenings right now. We are busy and distracted, but when Israel, the little county that is the size of New Jersey, is continually in podcast and news, well you better know it is something Big! It is God’s apple of his eye, his chosen city, that the Lord will come back to! many things are showing the signs, only the rapture is left on the prophetic calendar…How AMAZING is that!! In a blink of an eye..you must have oil in your lamps sisters, ready, and waiting! what will you be doing..half are not ready. Even though they are the awaiting brides…Christians..they are not waiting in expectation and readiness!
Lord, I pray we are ready and waiting, but actively have your Name, The Name of Jesus, on our lips! We must be truly submitted to you and abiding in you! We must be serving you, with a genuine heart of love for the gift of peace, the veil being torn!! We have access, are we using it? Our we so grateful that we can’t help but share the good news! Do we love our lost loved ones enough to keep praying and asking God how to share? Are we the LIGHT ! Do we want to penetrate the darkness with our light or are we shy? (Lord give us BOLDNESS in a good way, lol) Are we being used as the hands and feet of Jesus? Are we going to church to praise and worship, to learn, and to pray with and for others?! Are we in a small group so we have a tribe that knows us and has our back and vise versa?!
Lord, it’s not a list of MUST Do’s, but guide us to where we might need a little nudge to go. Help us to Say YES to you and get excited about it and you, and how you will use us! Let us be on fire and passionate for the gospel, to honor and Glorify YOU Lord!!

Have a beautiful weekend my She’s! Oh- also, I just sent a text to my BIL yesterday to point him to God in his grief. I challenged him today to turn the radio in the car to a Christian music station and keep it there for a month! Pray he will take the challenge, and find solace and peace, and JESUS in those songs! It was a crazy request considering I’m sure it would be crazy for him to actually do this, but I must of felt it coming from God. Pray for Scott.

I’ve been meaning to share a podcast with you ladies of SRT. Pray Every Day with Mary DeMuth. I like it because each daily episode is only 5 min and after she reads the Bible passage, she prays for the listeners according to the passage. ❤️

B, her story is so powerful. Thanks for sharing about the prayer podcast! I got her emails many years ago and she introduced me to Scripture graphics. I asked her how she created those and she willingly shared and encouraged me. That opened the door to a ministry I would not likely have considered.
She does have some really creative artwork! I learned about her when she was a guest on a different podcast speaking about a book she wrote, “Love, Pray, Listen: Parenting Your Wayward Adult Kids with Joy (Practical and Biblical Advice for Christian Parents of Adult Children)”
Praying, Rhonda, that your family will seek Jesus in their grief. Music is an amazing comforter so I pray your b-i-l will give it a chance and that God will use a song to reach his heart. There was a song years ago that did that for me: I Need You Now by Plumb.

How?
Through FAITH!
What kind of faith? Faith when I feel in control, when my world is on solid ground. Faith in society deciding to do the right thing? NO! Those are temporal, not eternal. Our faith is made possible and our faith is in the One True God.

What kind of peace? Peace that comes from a relationship with Jesus who said,
“I am leaving you with a gift — peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 NLT

We were able to see the cardiologist yesterday! Tom was getting dizzy and our granddaughter checked BP sitting and standing. There was a over 20 point drop when standing. She made some phone calls and got us in. The Dr walked in and said after reading his chart, he was shocked to see him alive. He made some med changes, put in a referral for cardiac rehab and a request for a life vest. He wants to see us again on the 26th.Tom felt good about the visit..we all did. The life vest threw me some. I guess I thought we were a little more out of the woods. But God…it is all in His hands.
Praise God for your granddaughter’s swift actions! Standing in prayer with you and Tom, Susan! ❤ May PEACE flood your hearts and minds!

Good morning, ladies.
I’ve been doing a study with my church small group this summer, but hope to jump back in with you all on the next study. I have a few prayer requests. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer and starts chemo on Tuesday. My aunt is a retired oncologist and has been actively involved. She and her husband are not believers. Praying that God uses this terrible, scary situation to touch their hearts.
Secondly, my sister-in-law texted an update about her husband. We knew he has a mass on his lungs, but the biopsy was inconclusive. To take a larger sample to biopsy would be challenging, so the doctor wants to remove the mass entirely which means removing the entire right lower lobe and part of the upper lobe of the lung. Surgery is scheduled for Aug 25. I do not believe that they know the Lord either, so again praying that God uses this situation to touch their hearts and draw them to Him.
