Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Philippians 4:8

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things.
—Philippians 4:8

Continuing to lift up our dear sweet Rhonda, and precious family!

    2 Corinthians 1:3 says:
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.
To all those needing comfort today, I pray that you will focus on the source of all comfort and think on all the good things He has done and provided for us.
Happy July 4th to my American neighbours! God bless you and keep you in His care.

Happy fourth of July!! Im reading your request from yesterday and praying sisters! Sweet Rhonda, getting caught up on your situation and praying this verse over you today that you may meditate on the goodness of God in this horrible tragedy. This was my verse I meditated on postpartum, and it was life changing. Recently, I have used it as a litmus test for what I’m consuming. Does this content produce pure, honorable, and praiseworthy thoughts or is it sending me into a spiral of anxiety, envy, or hate. when I read the minor prophets it’s hard for me not to be filled with shame or fear for myself and this country, BUT God, keeps reminding me to keep my eyes on Jesus, because He is pure and honorable, true, and admirable, worthy of praise. and that’s what my God sees when he sees me. jesus.

Lainey- thank you. Funny I have been sitting out here with my sister and nephew and I had just said that, that we cant keep replaying the could haves, questioning all their actions/non actions..and then opened up this page, read, and then your comment first. I read this verse to them. Please pray for my nephew Collin that saw too much. And sister Donna, and dad-scott.
I too, was on the phone with my sister hearing it all. It’s hard to replace the thoughts. But God..he knew this was coming. Our pain, our weakness, our tragedies, your post-partum, —He is not just God, but comfort, healer, restorer.
I have been here at their house with them since the suicide, the hospital for 2 days as Sav was on life support, and now in the in between until the funeral next Friday. It is a lot…I have left Klove on at night so just like this verse says…as I wake up a lot, I hear the lyrics of good, and right, and praise worthy…and dwell on these. I am trying to get my sister to put it on as well.
      Thank you all.

The place we let our mind dwell, matters. Fixing our thoughts on what is pure, lovely, praiseworthy, true keeps our heads and our hearts where they need to be. We can’t let negativity in any way infiltrate our thoughts and give the enemy that stronghold. 2 Cor 10:5 tells us to “take every thought captive.” Rom 12:2 tells us to “renew our minds”. This is for our good and filling our minds with and knowing the truth of scripture is so important. Its where we need to fix our minds to lead our thoughts and keep the lies of the enemy at bay. Heavenly Father, help me keep heart and mind focused on you, the Truth of your Word and to dwell on what is good. Amen

Thank you for praying for me. I have had some off and on mild nausea from the injection treatment. Thus far it has been manageable and for that, I am grateful. Many of the symptoms I am experiencing from feeling unwell, are side effects so it is a bit difficult to know for sure how my body is reacting but I feel a bit worse than I did. I had some additional labs work this week and so please pray that all that is being done will shed light on what is happening in my body and the doctors can really accurately assess things. Please pray that the injection will stabilize the tumors from further change or growth, for relief of my symptoms and strength as I press on. God has been so present and faithful in every way and I am so grateful. Thank you❤️

    1. Mari V says:

Father God, we pray for our sweet Wendy, we pray that the injection will stabilize the tumors from further change or growth. We pray for relief of her symptoms, and we pray for strength. In Jesus name. Amen.

The mind is a very powerful thing. We can think bad, negative thoughts that tear us down, or we can think good, positive, uplifting thoughts that build us up spiritually.
    .
Think on all things that are…
    .
true – conforming to fact, reality (remember – Satan is a liar)
    .
honorable – things that are worthy of respect & have integrity
    .
just – morally fair or right
    .
pure – uncontaminated by worldly thoughts
    .
lovely – delightfully attractive, highly pleasing
    .
    commendable – deserving of praise

“casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:5
    .
    This is my constant prayer.

Happy 4th of July to my American sisters, Happy Saturday to all my dear She’s! ❤️

    Finally..
    .
    Finally..
    .
Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things..
    .
When you have done all you are going to do, in your own strength, when you have said what you are going to say, because you think it true, when you have been who you think you should be, as you think the world should see you…
    .
Finally, so then, in conclusion, the world as you believe it to be is not your friend, it is not for you as you think, it will devour you if you let it..
    .
    BUT GOD..
    .
Dear wonderful awesome GOD.., He will be by your side, guiding and directing, providing and equipping, filling you with hope, and pouring His love and grace covered in mercy over you. He will not slumber, nor will He leave you, He will fill you with His Spirit and you will need not worry about anything, for as you pray, asking GOD with a thankful heart, His peace will cover you.
    .
    TRUTH..
    .
    So..
    .
    Finally..
    .
    In conclusion..
    .
Life looks a whole lot different, as you absolutely fill your mind with things that are good, (thoughts, hopes, grace..) things that are true, don’t believe the lies, be honourable in your ways, your actions, be pure, sincere, honest in your daily life, see the beauty, the good, be of excellent character, and in all things praise..
    .
I am going to kick this day, as I do most days with my favourite praise song, there is definitely nothing better than this song to get my whole body into gear,
    Ready..
    Steady..
    .
Every praise is to our GOD… Every word of worship in one accord..Every praise, Every praise is to our GOD. Sing Hallelujah to our GOD…
    .
    AMEN.
    .
Happy Saturday my dears, and to those in the States Happy July 4th..
    .
Much love, wrapped in continued prayers and hugs.
    Tina ❤️

    1. Searching says:

Amen, sister! Let’s not waste time thinking we are all that, that we know everything, that we should be guided by and trust those who aren’t following the Lord.
      Only He is worthy ❤️
Now … Every praise is to our God … Hallelujah ❤️❤️

    7. Lynne from Alabama says:

Good morning, precious Tina! I love that song! It’s actually on my praise and worship playlist and it’s a great way to start the day!

    8. Cee Gee says:

Thank you, Tina! Every praise, EVERY PRAISE is to OUR God! ❤❤❤
James tells us that to be friends with the world is to be enemies with God.
      James 4:4 NLT-
Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
      .
I love what you said about that!

    9. Mari V says:

“Let Everything that has Breath Praise the LORD.” by Ron Kenoly is another great praise song!

      Love YOU sweet Tina!
