Psalm 145:13: Is a reminder that God’s kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and that the Lord is always trustworthy in all that He promises and is faithful in all He does. Jesus upholds us when we fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.

  2. Dwan says:

Thank you Rhonda J for your prayers and encouraging words. He was raised in church until about the age of twelve when sadly we slipped away. I’ve been back at church for a little over a year but the time away has left its mark on our family. Pray for our continued faithfulness and that we will still have powerful influence over our adult children. God bless!

  3. Dwan says:

Hey y’all! Good evening! I’m asking for prayers for my son Owen. He’s 21, away at college, and having lots of questions about faith, and living a Christian life. He’s very idealistic and easily influenced by the culture around him. It’s in his nature to ask the difficult questions. Please pray that I’ll have the courage to answer the ones that I can truthfully and scripturally and not shy away from those that he may disagree with. To stay true to my convictions. Thank you for your prayers for us. God bless SRT family!

    1. Searching says:

Praying, Dwan, for Owen, college is a challenging time with world views coming at these kids from every direction. Praying either he or you will be able to answer these questions with support from Scripture- even if we disagree, it doesn’t change God’s truth. Praying too that he will be able to discern truth from lies, the evil one is very sneaky as we learned early on with Eve … did God really say . . . ?

      1. Rhonda J. says:

        Agree!

Praying for you Dawn. I engaged this way many times with my college age kid (and my nieces and nephews too!) about truth vs world views. He was definitely indoctrinated by teachers in HS and then a very liberal college, and the friends he hung out with. But I still held firm on God’s word, the difference and WHY it matters! It was great conversations. It will stick at some point I know! I remember my madre and daddio having the same convos with us at that age! I’m so glad she shared her convictions.

      2. Dwan says:

Thank you SEARCHING. Yes, he (Owen) has a very liberal view of the world and his beliefs tend to follow suit. He says that he has faith, but is unsure about what really to believe. Satan has his hooks in a lot of our younger generations. We need to be able to speak biblical truths with love. Thank you for your prayers!

  4. Traci Gendron says:

Asking for prayer for safety for our trip. We leave tonight. Our flight is already delayed and won’t leave until 1am! We are heading to Ireland and then France. I’m a little nervous with the way of the world lately. Thank you for all your prayers.

I’m a little behind on comments but jumping in to ask for prayer. We will be with M & B this weekend and I would like to encourage their faith without pushing them away. Please pray they will come to/back to Jesus. They will have their first baby in August and I am so fearful baby will not be raised to know Jesus. I know I am not to fear but to trust God, but I am struggling…

    1. Darby Byrd says:

Praying for you and for God to move in their hearts and draw them back to him.

      1. B says:

    2. Searching says:

Praying, B, that they realize their need for Jesus.

      1. B says:

        ❤️❤️❤️

    3. Tina says:

B, praying that by your actions and words you will gently remind them of the faith they once had and why..
And my dear sister, in the words of our Saviour, “..Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself..” The little person is not here yet, much may have changed by then and you would have wasted precious time worrying..
      I dont mean to preach..
      BUT GOD..
Trust Him and His ways, His plans and purpose..
      Amen!
Hugs covered in much prayer for your mama heart and your visit. ❤️

What a great verse to read first thing this morning. Ruler over all, faithful and gracious is our mighhy Lord. What a great hope and promise to rest in today.

I did add this yesterday to my comment but want to be sure to say again thank you so much everyone. Your words of encouragement, support and prayers are just such a blessing and bring me to tears. This week has been a slog for sure. I had an especially challenging day emotionally on Thursday. The Lord’s presence and faithfulness came to me so practucally and intentionally by way of friends and He has used many people to remind me of His nearness and care. You are all part of that. Thank you sisters. Blessings on your day ❤️

  15. Sharon Jersey Girl says:

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.
Unlike the kingdoms of this world that will all pass away.
    .
Your dominion endures through all generations.
Rulers of this world come and go, some passed down to sons other times to those not related.
    .
The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises.
How often do we break our promise, whether intentional or not?
    .
And faithful in all He does.
I strive to be faithful as I’m sure you & countless others do. But still, there are times we are not – but not our God, he is ALWAYS faithful!
    – – –
“I will exalt you, my God, the king; I will praise your name forever and ever. Every day, I will praise you and extol your name forever and ever.”

“My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise his holy name forever and ever.”
    Psalm 145:1,2,21

I woke at 2:45 and unable to go back to sleep, I was able to get here nice and early! I have my grandaughter today, bright and early at 7:45 – pray that I can stay awake today to care for her, and have the energy to keep up with a 2 year old after so little sleep! …it’s hard enough when I’ve had 8 hrs of sleep!

  16. Tina says:

    Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;
your rule is for all generations.
The LORD is faithful in all his words
and gracious in all his actions.
    —Psalm 145:13
    .
YOUR KINGDOM IS AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM..
I looked up everlasting.. I kind of had an idea…
Everlasting primarily describes something that last or endures forever; it refers to things that are eternal, perpetual or infinite..
    .
    OKAY!
    .
GODS kingdom, lasts forever. endures forever.. it waits for us to find our way home, but most importantly its going nowhere.. it will be there when the ‘penny drops’ for our hearts.. and long after we found our way home..
    .
YOUR RULE IS FOR ALL GENERATIONS.
    .
We all have access to GOD. We can ALL call on HIM and know that HE will hear us. HIS rules are not like the rules of this world, perse, they are guidelines on how to live and do life in a godly manner, and we can all do that, right..?
    .
THE LORD IS FAITHFUL IN ALL HIS WORDS..
    .
If HE has said it, then HE is faithful to do it, see it through, unlike me, I can be all words and no action, sometimes..
    .
    BUT GOD.,
    .
AND GRACIOUS IN ALL HIS ACTIONS.
    .
Love drives GOD every single time.. HIS actions are always lead by love, no matter the situation, GODS gracious love is HIS love language, We might not see it that way, in some answered prayers or situations, BUT GOD.. is always always gracious in HIS actions and responses to us.
    Oh how HE loves us..
    .
    Amen!
    .
    Happy Saturday my dears..
Love and hugs always, sweet Daughters of the Most High God..❤️

Made me start singing the lyrics “everlasting…your light …never ending..
and I couldn’t quite come up with the song! But then found it…”From the Inside Out” by Hillsong

      A thousand times I’ve failed
      Still your mercy remains
      Should I stumble again
Still I’m caught in your grace
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame
      Your will above all else
      My purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul
      I give you control
Consume me from the inside out
      Let justice and praise
      Become my embrace
To love you from the inside out
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring you praise
      From the inside out
      Lord my soul cries out

Happy Sat to you sweet Tina!
