Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm, then, and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Matt update… prayer for a miracle would be good. The decision has been made to amputate both legs. Not sure of the scheduled time and how high on the legs they plan to go.
Praying
Thank you.
Good Afternoon Ladies~
I will post this tomorrow too-
With the reading of Acts I have decided we should have a Prayer Challenge this coming week! I want us to step out of our comfort zones, pray to God for a divine opportunity to pray for someone, and to have the courage to follow through! And for us to be able to share what God will do with our asking on our FB page.
I even want us to do a live Google meet tomorrow afternoon/evening to pray together for opportunities to be disciples for Him!
So go to FB- SRT She’s to put your Yes, I’m in! And if you want to join the live Prayer let me know what time works best (roughly) for you!
I don’t do the googly things, but I will pray for God to answer your prayers for divine appointments. Our SS teacher is very passionate about that and reminds our class often. In fact after our prayer time each Sunday, we have a share time for divine appointments we had during the week. Very much like what you are doing here! Sometimes it’s just to repirt that we offered prayer to someone. Sometimes it’s a full on encounter of sharing the gospel.
❤ forgot the heart! ☺
I don’t have Facebook – can I still participate?
Yes Elizabeth! :)
Happy Saturday sweet She’s! Woke up again in the middle of the night. Too early for a Saturday, LOL! Came here and prayed for some of your requests, and went back to sleep. So thankful for the freedom we all have in Christ to come before Him, at anytime, anywhere, at any time of the day or night and confident that He “hears” us!
GM Friend!:)
Amen, Mari! ❤
Amen – thank you for this reminder!
Late to the party today. I confess that instead of coming straight here, I grabbed my coffee and sat watching the beautiful snow falling and the birds doing their thing.
The flakes are so big they remind me of manna from heaven.
✨
Thank You, God for sending Jesus to free us from the penalty and bondage of sin. It’s up to us to choose to spend time in the Word, to allow it to penetrate our hearts and minds helping us to be more like Him as we get to know Him better.
That reminds me of when I was younger. The more I hung around my friend, the more we thought alike and talked alike. That’s another example of being ‘friends with the world’. James says in chapter 4, verse 4:
4 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. (NLT)
Biblegateway verse of the Day:
Psalm 86:5 (CSB)
For you, Lord, are kind and ready to forgive, abounding in faithful love to all who call on you.
✨
Love, hugs, and prayers! ❤
So true, it’s a real thing that friends start dressing the same, talking the same, and loving the same stuff! Good to remember! The more I choose to be in the word, my mind and actions are more like Jesus! What a difference I can see in myself. I really don’t like to do the things I once did. I want to be around fellow Christ followers…they are my peeps!
Oh…and I am late to the game as well. With my coffee and fake fire and doggie. I did love watching snow fall up north! I loved it for a month or even two. Right now it is 56 here! BRRRR!!! lol. I’m gonna stay in my indoor cocoon!
My peeps, too! ❤ Lol on fake fire…brrrr! I just walked around outside to get some pics. 29 here, but manageable for a brief outing.
Thank you Lord for your extravagant love, amazing grace and that we are free indeed.
In Christ I am free in deed, all because of God’s amazing grace!
.
The song Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) comes to mind…
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I’m found
Was blind, but now I see
[Verse 2]
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
[Chorus]
My chains are gone, I’ve been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, amazing grace
[Verse 3]
The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures
My chains are gone, I’ve been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, amazing grace
My chains are gone, I’ve been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, amazing grace
[Verse 4]
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine

Have a blessed Saturday She’s. Praying for those in the path of the storm. ❤️
Praying here for others. Our snow is beautiful! Suppised to be 12 degrees here tonight. Almost unheard of here! ❤
Galatians 5:6 “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.”
GM- taking a dive into this scripture, I’m sharing the study answers taken from BIBLEHUB:
Practical Ways to Stand Firm Today
– Daily rehearse the gospel—remind yourself that Christ’s work is complete.
– Filter every teaching through Scripture; if it adds requirements for acceptance with God, reject it.
– Walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16); reliance on the Spirit’s power keeps us from drifting back to self-effort.
– Stay in fellowship with believers who prize gospel freedom—community strengthens resolve.
– Memorize key truth verses (e.g., Galatians 2:20, Romans 8:1) to counter condemnation and legalism.
When We Slip
– Return immediately to grace—“Where sin increased, grace increased all the more” (Romans 5:20).
– Confess, receive cleansing (1 John 1:9), and plant your feet again in the freedom Christ secured.

Oh, that’s good, Ucobb. The spiritual disciplines that help us stand firm! I need to daily remind myself that Christ’s work is complete. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing! I always want more reading and prompts on Saturdays and Sundays! This was very helpful!
Very good, thank you for sharing! ❤️
So good!
LOVE this! Thank you, UCOBB for helping us dig deeper!
Thanks, UCOBB! Great references! ❤
With physical or spiritual bondage, we can become accustomed to either and not realize how bound we are.
.
Physical freedom – for those of us who live in it and always have, I think it’s difficult to ever really understand what that feels like.
Spiritual freedom – we have all been under the bondage of sin, some more entangled than others. I am thankful that Jesus is The Great Detangler who will untangle, break and remove the chains for us if we will let him (and not hang on to those favorite sins).
.
Chorus from Thank God I’m Free
.
Thank God I am free, free, free from this world of sin,
Washed in the blood of Jesus, I’ve been born again;
Hallelujah, I’m saved, saved, saved by His wonderful grace.
I’m so glad that I found out
He would bring me out and show me the way
.
MERCY ❣️❣️❣️so glad you are feeling better, sister.
.
TERESA EDDY praying for you through this weekend, that you will have peace in the waiting and peace in this meeting.
.
SHARON JERSEY GIRL – ❤️ great warning “We too should be very vigilant to search the scriptures and “fact check” if you will, to see that what we are being taught is indeed true. Many a believer has been carried away by teachings from who they thought was a godly preacher or teacher but was in fact not teaching the truth.”
I think some of the most dangerous teachings people read or hear are things that are almost true … so they are lies. I’m big on fact checking as are you but we still need to be on guard. The catchy phrases or statements that draw us in – I like to see who said it and what they stand for.
Hope you made it ok through the test yesterday.
.
UCOBB Thank you for drawing our attention back to the sin of our idols, which has come up several times here in the last few months. I think one of our sisters posted this, what are my idols??? What do I worship other than God???
.
CEE GEE ❤️ good words of caution, sister!
ADRIENNE – thank you for the updates. Praying for Matt and family, and wisdom for med team. Thankful for the good report on Paul.
KIM BUTTONBERRY – good to see you ❤️

ANNIE HEWITT & KIRA H – praying little ones are better (or recovered!) today
The test went fine, although the drink was thick, chalky & tasteless. The test showed everything was normal, praise the Lord. Thank you for your prayers! ❤️
Great praise! ❤ Didn’t realize results were that quick!
Thank you, Searching, for saying so much better what I attempted to say in my ‘warning’ yesterday. I found a great quote for that a couple of years ago. I want to get it right so I need to look it up. If I can find it, I’ll share it! ❤
Paul nailed it. It is indeed amazing how quickly I forget the freedom I have been given in Jesus. I instead turn to trying to follow God’s law in my own strength and put myself in bondage to works of the flesh. Sigh…Lord have mercy on my “I can do it on my own” attitude. Thank You for Your grace and the freedom to live forgiven and free in Jesus.
.
Praying for safety for those in the path of this latest winter storm.
