This is for all of us who confess, believe and call upon the name of the Lord we are saved. Thanks be to God ❤️

In general those of us in North America(I’m in Alberta Canada)do not know the level of horrfic persecution that brothers and sisters in other parts of the world endure. However, tomorrow at church we have local to our city missionaries, coming to speak and we can’t livestream our service to protect their safety. They need to be protected in order to serve. We must not think its not in our backyard. There is a cost to following Jesus and although that cost may look different in our comfy western world, it is still there and we need to be diligent in prayer and equipped to stand firm.

I love this. Everyone who believes in Him gets Him. Amen.

God is good! We must all pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are living in parts of the world where they are being hunted and killed. May all of us residing in the U.S. recognize what privilege we have!!

This song comes to mind this morning. Goodness if God sung by CeCe Winans.

    I love You, Lord
For Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
    Until I lay my head
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
‘Cause all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
    I love Your voice
You have led me through the fire
In darkest night You are close like no other
I’ve known You as a Father
I’ve known You as a Friend
And I have lived in the goodness of God, yeah
‘Cause all my life You have been faithful, oh yes You have
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
With my life laid down, I surrendered now
I give You everything, oh Lord
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me (oh yeah, oh yeah)
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
With my life laid down, I surrendered now
    I give You everything
Your goodness is running after, it keeps running after me
And all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I’m gonna sing of the goodness of God
    I’m gonna sing
All my life You have been faithful
(All of my life You’ve been faithful)
All my life You have been so, so good
    (So good with every breath)
every breath that I am able
    (Every breath I’m able)
I will sing (I’m gonna sing)
Of the goodness (of the goodness of God, yes I am)
I’m gonna sing of the goodness of God
Oh, I’m gonna sing of the goodness of God

EVERYONE. All is welcome. All we have to do is accept the free gift of JESUS! Taking time this morning to pray for those “future” loved ones to accept this beautiful free gift. It will be the best decision and gift of their life! Happy Saturday sweeties! Slept so well! So thankful for this! Love you all SO much!

@Crissy Hunter – dear sister in Christ, do not lose heart God is near. He is with you in the storm, He stands beside you in the darkness. Rest in His loving arms, let Him minister to your heart.
You are loved, you are prayed for, you are seen. Praying for you today that God would restore your joy and your hope and strengthen you through the suffering season you are going through.
    .
Throughout my life, whenever hard times came I would turn to the Psalms, I still do. Here is a passage I’ve turned to many times. I hope it ministers to your soul…
    .
4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. 6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
    Psalm 34:4-6
    .
    Much love and prayers. ❤️

  13. Cee Gee says:

[ 9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ] NLT

I thought of ‘our’ prodigals as I read these verses in Romans 10 beginning with verse 1:
Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved.
2 I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal.
3 For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law.
4 For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God. NLT

    WARREN WIERSBE said on v.3-
“Israel was ignorant of God’s righteousness, not because they had never been told, but because they refused to learn. Some ignorance comes from lack of opportunity, but Israel had had many opportunities to be saved. Theirs was an ignorance that stemmed from willful, stubborn resistance to the truth. They would not submit to God.”

Joining Searching, Sharon, Tami, Rhonda, Traci, Sandy, and the many other SHES praying for prodigals!
Father, remove the blindness and stubborn heart we pray, from our loved ones so they can SEE and BELIEVE – in TRUTH. ❤

    Love, hugs,and prayers! ❤
We found out at hubby’s appt. yesterday that he needs cataract surgery. He is resisting at this point, but it is extremely necessary for his vision. Also, he has ‘lost’ his debit card… again. Please pray it turns up today!!! Thanks, sisters!

    1. Sharon Jersey Girl says:

Praying that your hubby will have peace about his cataract surgery. My sister just had both eyes done, she is thrilled that she can see clearly now and without glasses! Also praying he finds his debit card.

      1. Cee Gee says:

Thanks so much, sweet sister! Thanks for sharing about your sister’s excellent results! I told him of that possible outcome yesterday since he only wears glasses for reading/driving- not ‘half blind’ like me! ☺

    2. Tami says:

My dad also was so happy! He didn’t need readers anymore!

      1. Cee Gee says:

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that, Tami! ❤

    3. Mercy says:

Praying for the debit card to show up and the surgery to be received well.

      1. Cee Gee says:

        Thank you, Mercy! ❤

  14. Sharon Jersey Girl says:

This morning I read through all of Romans 10. Paul was quick to point out that – one can be very zealous for God, but if it’s not based on the knowledge of God’s word – it is worthless.
    .
There are many “religious” and “spiritual” people all around us. But, if the root of what they believe is not the gospel of Jesus Christ it is meaningless.
    .
Jesus is Lord. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose again in victory. Salvation is in Him alone, by grace through faith. Period! To believe anything else is not the gospel of Jesus Christ.
    .
One can be very sincere, but sincerely wrong!
    .
Paul goes on to say that faith comes by hearing the message and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Romans 10:17 That is why it is so important for us to be sharing the good news of the gospel.
    .
Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
    .
Lets be out there spreading the word sisters!

    Happy Saturday She’s! ❤️

    1. Cee Gee says:

“One can be very sincere, but sincerely wrong!…Lets be out there spreading the word sisters!”
      Sobering, but true! ❤

    2. Maria J says:

Great summary! Thanks Sharon. Lord help us speak your word with boldness and compassion to those who are perishing.

    3. Mia Faith says:

Well… I tried to reply and then it vanished. Thanks for sharing

  15. Cheryl Blow says:

Believing in Him is the key to living a life of blessing and not shame! All our sins are washed away!

    Have a blessed day!

  16. Gwineth52 says:

Greetings My SRT Sisters on Grace Day
As I look back on the week that was I recognize & relate to the familiar stories. That stir my competing familiar & unfamiliar feelings. Of regret, confusion
& isolation. Of being found, rescued & claimed. Experiencing fully His “unfathomable mercy & embracing “personal gospel transformation”. The Holy Spirit. Empowering ordinary people. With histories. With sins. Like me. Like mine. Henceforth to carry & live out the Gospel. Enabled by His wisdom, His strength, not my meager own. This sounds wonderful, this is the ideal, but in actually…
Examining myself … I call upon Your name Sweet Jesus as I continue to wrestle with the familiar feelings that keep returning. Lost. Empty. Undeserving. Please help me to push those feelings aside & stand firm. Forgiven & freed. This is the Act I crave.

    1. Cee Gee says:

      ❤❤❤
      Great to see you, Gwineth!

    2. Mari V says:

Gwineth…….. so good to see you here this morning!

    1. Cee Gee says:

      Amen! ❤

    2. Mari V says:

AMEN. Sweet Traci…I’m praying for you.

  18. Rhonda J. says:

    Good Morning, She’s!
I was bummed that my alarm was set for Next Saturday instead of this morning as I had hoped to join in with a Prayer Walk this morning my church was doing in our city. :/ BUT…it is in the 50’s, which may sound like a heat wave to some of Ya’ll, but us SWF’s, my freeze up like the Iquana’s!! Anyway…I am in front of a cozy fireplace reading Romans with my sisters! I had to go on and read Romans 11, which seemed so fitting with what is surprisingly here in our midst again—prejudice and thinking we are better than GOD”S chosen people and land!
Israel is God’s land and people—make no mistake. No they don’t live for God right now, and no, we may not like supporting them politically–YET we do know that Jesus is coming back to the temple in Jerusalem!! That a remnant is there, and in the tribulation more will come! Never think we are better as Christians. You had your back turned as well, far from God…than you came to him, or returned, just as many of them will. We pray for his prodigals of Israel. His chosen. That we gracefully were grafted into!! The replacement theology is strong today…which is not surprising either, because the church today will be divide from true believers and those that are deceived. When you hear believers talking against Israel and Jews, you better be ready to rebuke them, and know your Bible. They have their talking points and have been foolishly told that the people of Jesus have replaced Israel.
Furthermore—when judging Israel, how can those same believers not look at America and see how far off from God, values, and morals have WE strayed…lordy, lordy! We can’t even agree on 2 sexes and that abortion is murder. We better start taking a hard look at ourselves. “Christian” is a general term these days, But Jesus wants followers of The Way…his way, not our way. “If He is for us, who can be against us?” Well, everybody really, but he is saying it won’t matter b/c HE IS for us!! My desire is that! Not the world. Yes, I love them, but they will not like the truth, and will not have ears to hear. But I will keep singing His praises and Worshipping the King of kings!! Persecution is coming, hold us firm and strong on your word Lord!!

    1. Cee Gee says:

Thanks for sharing, Rhonda! Sorry about yoyr alarm, but you probably needed to rest today as your body recovers from surgery. I replied to you on Searching’s comment, too. ❤
I saw the report about iguanas on the weather channel yesterday. I already knew the facts, but the images…

    2. AliceV says:

Thank you, Tami. Though I don’t comment often, I do pray for the requests that are shared here. Please add the names of my two adult children, Brian and Rachel, to this list. Thank you! ♥️

    3. Catherine McVey says:

      Amen Rhonda!❤️

    4. Jane K says:

      Amen, Rhonda!!

  19. Tami says:

Tyler Staton, author of “Praying like monks, Living like fools”, spent an entire summer walking laps around his middle school here on Long Island with the school directory (remember those?) and prayed for each and every study to come to know Jesus every day for the entire summer. On the first day back to school he started a club for followers of Jesus, meeting at 6:30am weekly. He would flip open the page of his Bible, write a few lines and then talk to the kids about it. He said it was a “recipe for disaster” but he had one thing going for him “prayer”. He continued praying for his classmates using the directory. By the end of the year, 1/3 of his 8th grade class had come to know Jesus. He calls this either “ludicrous” or “completely breathtaking”. Only God! I know we have many prodigals here. If you would like to join me to commit as a group to pray for them daily, leave the names of your prodigals in the comments. I will make a list and then share with anyone else who is interested. Let’s see what God does:)

    1. Kim Mullins says:

hey Tami! I have a prodigal too. His name is Tyler. I will pray for our list of prodigals. Thank you for making the list!

    7. Mari V says:

Thank you sweet Tami! What a beautiful idea. My prodigals are my close family members. Rick, (my cousin who was raised with us since he was born and has ALWAYS been my brother). 8. Tricia C says:

Tami, I would love this list. Please add my grown children David, Allison, and Christopher as well as their spouses Lina, Travis, and Nicole to that list. I will be praying.

Prayers for my brother Jake and his wife Taylor, they are very much of this world! I don’t know exactly where his own personal faith stands now as he was a very strong Christian throughout this childhood/teen years!!

    11. Mercy says:

Incredible idea. Bravo Tami…and what a testimony of 1/3 of the classroom receiving the Lord. Such bold faith and actions. Oh the teenagers, how they need the Lord. I am joining to pray for school kids to receive God and be healed from hatred and division.

    12. Catherine McVey says:

Thank you Tami! Please add my son, Jeremiah, to your list.❤️

    13. AZ Walker says:

Can you all add my daughter Tessa to the list? Hasn’t been to church in a while, idolatry and not making a good choice in a relationship with an atheist coworker! Thank you for starting this prayer chain Tami!

    14. Jane K says:

Tami, thanks for reminding me about that book, “Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools.” My church read this book together last fall. I need to go back and read it. It encouraged me to pray more. I love your idea and willingness to compose a list of our prodigals. I will definitely commit to pray for them daily.

      Beautiful desire! ❤

  21. Kelly (NEO) says:

Source for this quote in Romans, Isa. 28:16 “Therefore, this is what the sovereign master, the Lord, says:

‘Look, I am laying a stone in Zion, an approved stone,

set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation.

The one who maintains his faith will not panic.'” (NET)
    .
Help us to abide, clinging to You, Jesus.

    BG verses Philippians 2:14-16
14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,
15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

I too, had to read all of Romans 10, and kept going!

      1. Cee Gee says:

I agree about chapter 10! I read it as well and shared some in my comment.
v 21 But regarding Israel, God said,

“All day long I opened my arms to them,
but they were disobedient and rebellious.”
        Again, reminded of the prodigals.

Rhonda, praying for quick healing from that surgery! It sounds like a doozy. ❤
