Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
At that time I will bring you back,
yes, at the time I will gather you.
I will give you fame and praise
among all the peoples of the earth,
when I restore your fortunes before your eyes.
The LORD has spoken.

Sweet friends… I’m sitting here at one of my favorite parks waiting for my friend for our Saturday morning walk. I’m reading through yesterday’s comments. You are all the BEST!!
And yes, as of this morning, Alyssa and I are already planning our coffee dates. Although she does still have school, we will make time for them. I’m so excited!! I’m mostly excited to get to sleep in.
So beautiful everyone! I’ve been traveling but at home! Thankful for God’s protection while traveling!
He will restore us! Yes He will! Early this morning (made myself stay in bed as it was way to early and needed rest) I was thinking about my testimony that I gave in youth group at the church I used to attend. Though I now belong to a new church where my kiddos attend, I recall what a pastor’s wife and friend of mine said, HE is still writing my story! I believe this with all my heart. My Jesus has a plan and I’m excited and looking forward to this next chapter of my life. Meanwhile, I feel SO welcomed!
Amen, Mari ❤️ Enjoy your Saturday!
As our study in Nehemiah comes to a close, I am so thankful for all the reminders God has given me through this study.
.
I have shared already about the state of our church, and I will reflect and ponder what I have learned from Nehemiah.
.
-Nehemiah prayed and God answered.
-Nehemiah was faced with opposition, but he did not let that hinder his work.
-Nehemiah faced further opposition, yet he trusted God and prevailed.
-Nehemiah lived by and taught God’s law.
-Confession of sin was made.
-Nehemiah accepted responsibility and did not neglect the house of the Lord, even in it’s sorry state.
-Nehemiah dealt with what needed to be done, especially when it came to purging sin.
-Nehemiah prayed for God to remember him, and that He might show mercy according to His great love.

I long to remain hopeful, that God will do an amazing work of restoration in our church for He is the Mighty Warrior who saves.
I know Grace Bible Church is not Israel, but still He chose us to represent Him in our community – to be a light house, a haven of hope. I know God sees, I know He cares…it’s just all that time spent in the waiting room, waiting for “your number to be called” that gets to be weary.
.
My simple prayer for my church – Remember GBC with favor, my God.

Song that comes to mind today, My Tribute by Andrae Crouch…
How can I say thanks
for the things You have done for me?
Things so undeserved,
yet You gave to prove Your love for me;
the voices of a million angels
could not express my gratitude.
All that I am and ever hope to be,
I owe it all to Thee.
.
To God be the glory,
to God be the glory,
to God be the glory
for the things He has done.
With His blood He has saved me,
with His power He has raised me;
to God be the glory
for the things He has done.
.
Just let me live my life,
let it pleasing, Lord to Thee,
and if I gain any praise,
let it go to Calvary.
With His blood He has saved me,
with His power He has raised me;
to God be the glory
for the things He has done.

Happy Saturday She’s, may you be blessed in all you do today – you are loved and prayed for. ❤️
Great summary, Sharon! ❤️
I never realized that prayer was such an important theme in Nehemiah. Everything starts and ends with prayer, reminding us that God’s work moves forward not by human strength but through hearts that depend on Him.
Our choir sang that so many years ago and I just loved it! ❤
❤️
Hi everyone, as I’ve been following along, I’ve seen a Facebook group mentioned. Can someone share the link? I’d love to be connected there.
SRT She’s
I don’t know the link Lindsey, but if you go to your FaceBook search bar and type in SRT SHE’S – it should come up.
…Hope you find us, have a blessed day!
Thank you, both!
The very first line is such a beautiful picture. He will bring us in & gather us together with our fellow believers. I just imagine us in Heaven seated at the throne of Our Father listening to His instruction and praising Him!
❤
❤️
Thank you Tina for your perspective and encouragement! Beautiful words.
Beautiful so encouraging ❤️❤️❤️
The LORD has spoken.
(mic drop)

May I have eats to hear and the courage to obey.

Cannot linger today – much to do. Thanks SEARCHING for the list. Thankful for you highlighting the SHE’s needs and comments.
Mic drop indeed! ❤
Grr…ears to hear
“Zephaniah ends with salvation and consolation. The people of Jerusalem should rejoice since they no longer have anything to fear; Yahweh has taken away judgment and once again dwells among His people (Zeph 3:15, 17). Zephaniah’s closing message takes up Yahweh’s promises throughout the book about salvation and restoration, encouraging faith in the future fulfillment of those promises. The call to rejoice is a call to believe in God’s faithfulness.” Commentary from Faithlife study.
Salvations and Restoration! Coming to the Lord, usually in brokenness and hopelessness, giving ourselves to Jesus. Then we are Born again and restoration can begin!! Brokenness to repair! Ashes to beauty! Graves to gardens!
But WATCH OUT…The evil one is on the prowl wanting to kill, steal, and destroy. And he is pretty successful- the prince of the world. Sadly many will not turn from their own desires. BUT GOD—is seeking us, pursuing, and is there when we come earnestly to him. He brings restoration, Hallelujah! But don’t keep it to yourselves…share his love at every opportunity! Remember what he has done.
I highly recommend the study we are doing in my small group “My Story Your Glory” by Mathew West! It is a 30 day daily devotional that guides you to look back and remember, and write YOUR story with God!! That is what we all need to do. Remember the Goodness of God. It builds our faith, and prepares us for hard times ahead. Also, what a precious gift it will be for someone that cares about to read one day!!
Have a great wkd She’s!
I am definitely picking up that book! Thanks for all of your sharing and encouragement through this intense study!
Thanks for sharing the study by Matthew West, Rhonda – I’ll check it out.

Such a gentle and loving reminder of God’s promise to His people! ❤️
TINA ❤️ said it, Thank You Father God, for Your love letter. ❤️❤️
.
BG verse today:
Proverbs 27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.
.
This verse reminded me of the hymn, Living By Faith, James Wells & R.E. Winsett, 1918.
.
1.
I care not today what the morrow may bring,
If shadow or sunshine or rain,
The Lord I know ruleth o’er everything,
And all of my worries are vain.
. Refrain
Living by faith in Jesus above,
Trusting, confiding in His great love;
From all harm safe in His sheltering arm,
I’m living by faith and feel no alarm.
.
TAMI ❤️
SHARON JERSEY GIRL ❤️ thankful for the normal results!
MERCY ❤️ “sin doesn’t usually show up in its ugliest form” because we would run screaming if it looked like it’s true self. A few years back I saw a clip of a nighttime talk show where an actor guest came out looking like one person, talked for a bit, and then surprisingly began to remove a full face mask to show true identity as a different actor- I wish I could remember who it was. Even as I watched it, it was hard to grasp that the first “person” was a mask – sin is even sneakier than that.
Same serpent still influencing, SAME ALMIGHTY GOD still in charge and still on the throne!
CEE GEE ❤️ thank you for reminding I’m not the fixer of anyone, that’s God’s job. Pray, Wait, Trust!
RHONDA J ❤️ thank you for reminding “Stay in the Bible, observe ALL that is written in it. Not the parts we like, but all of it.”
This reminded me of a church sign this week –
What did God leave out of the Bible? … your opinion …
TINA ❤️ Hallelujah, let the church sing … taking a step back to give you and CEE GEE plenty of room, sister, praise on! ❤️
CINDY BORODY – praising the Lord for the benign result! Praying as you walk through the day-by-day recovery and healing, for patience needed in this process. In a slow recovery, it can seem like nothing is happening. But looking back after a few weeks, you will be able to see the amazing progress
SUSAN BURLEY ❤️ praying as you figure out the best schedule for focused time with the Lord.
KELLY (NEO) ❤️ true heart change
What did God leave out of the bible—YOUR Opinion!!! I LOVE that!! Amen!
I guess I should scoot back to for CEE GEE and Tina as well…b/c I cannot bust a move like I used to, more like bust a hip!! (laughing face)
No ma’am…come on. We’ll all ‘bust a hip’ together! Lol ☺☺❤
Thank you for sharing the words to this hymn ❤️
❤️
LOVE that church sign!!! Thanks for sharing that- made me chuckle, but with humility! ❤ Haven’t heard that song in ages, but just listened to it. Such JOY on the faces in that Gaither gathering. Foreshadowing of ‘that day’!
.
Nobody needs to back out of the way for Tina and me! The more the merrier!!! ☺☺☺
I would love being in a group like the one in the video for Every Praise. That would be so AWEsome!
.
So appreciate your prayer list and comment reviews along with your wise insights! Praying some headway was made after your recently prayed over conversation. Also, those teens, transplant patient…
.
❤❤❤
Thank you for your faithful prayers! ❤️
Thank you for your comment yesterday and mentioning Even If ❤️
Praising with you:
“You’ve been faithful, You’ve been good
All of my days
Jesus, I will cling to You
Come what may
‘Cause I know You’re able
I know You can”
❤️
The time is coming!
I will bring your scattered people home;
I will make you famous throughout the world and make you prosperous once again.”
The Lord has spoken.
Zephaniah 3:20 GNT
.
Reading the verse on the devotional, I was a tad lost.. so I read the GNT version, and this had me excited..
.
Just the beginning.. ‘The time is coming…’ for me is a positive.. much like Soon, or Shortly, or In a moment, Presently..
Let’s face it.. it’s coming..whatever that is, it’s from the LORD, its going to be good, transforming, and that moves my feet, my hips, my arms, the tears..
.
To be honest, before I opened my tablet, this morning,I had the thought that my response to whatever I read, was going to be, ‘Thank you Father God, for your love letter’
.
Well, this so feels like a letter of love from Father God..
It’s hot on the foot of the wonderful verse we love to hear when life needs a little boost..
.
..The Lord your God is with you; his power gives you victory. The Lord will take delight in you, and in his love he will give you new life. He will sing and be joyful over you,
(Zephaniah 3:17)
He promises good things, from bringing the exiles home, to taking away our disgrace, to turning our shame to honour, to making us prosperous again..
And if that wasn’t enough of a love letter..
He gives clarification by ending with,
The LORD has spoken.
He may as well have signed it, Your ever Loving Father, God, with a 100 thousand heart emojis!
.
BUT GOD..
And only GOD.. can make promises like that, and make me get all emotional, because I know them to be truth..
.
So to finish and in response, from my heart, all of my heart,
Father God, Thank you for your love letter, this morning.. Thank you..❤️
.
Happy weekend my dears. Praying you find His love in the words today, but also in all around you.
God bless you..❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amen, amen, amen ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Father for your Love Letter…amen!!
