The Blessing by Elevation Worship and Kari Jobe is a beautiful song if you haven’t heard it!

  3. Wendy B says:

I love this passage. It is often said at church at the close of the service and in fact last week we sang the song. Such beautiful words of love and blessing that just speak peace. I add it in almost every Birthday wish, card, text, message etc that I share with a friend. And today I say it with much love, appreciation and care for this wonderful community of SRT sisters.❤️

Thank you for your prayers. I had surgery yesterday and all went well with no complications or issues. PTL. I dont do well with general anesthesia so post op and recovery was rough and we got home quite late as it took a while to get a handle on that. I did fairly well managing my PTSD and was upfront and honest right away that I struggled. Getting welled into the OR was very difficult but that process is so controlled and a well oiled machine so it just happened so fast and I hardly had time to say hello, thank them all for taking care of me, tell them I had been praying for them and then I was getting sleepy. The staff were amazing all around and so many family and friends were praying. I could feel it. Today I’m not feeling the best and resting but all should be well in a few days. Thank you again.

Hope that SRT can address the tech issue with commenting soon.

My mom used to pray this over my dad before she passed away…kind of gave me chills to see this verse today!

I was just thinking that I should begin praying this over my kids daily. What a sweet and blessed memory for you and your dad.

Cee Gee…the MacArthur study Bible is a verse commentary;and so is the Henry Morris study Bible; he approaches it from a creationist point of view.

We have been attending a church where they don’t say the Aaronic blessing. I kinda miss it. It always gives me such great peace when it is spoken over me. ❤️

  8. Caroline Bridges says:

I memorize something similar in my youth program not knowing it was a verse. May the Lord bless you and keep you may the Lord make his face and shine upon you and be gracious onto you may the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace amen.

MADE myself stay in bed longer. Still having trouble sleeping through the night. As soon as I read this mornings GRACE DAY scripture, I put on the song The Blessing by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes which goes along with our Grace Day scripture for this morning. Moved me SO much! Read ALL your comments, while listening to The Blessing and praying for you ALL right now! I’m so BLESSED to have you all in my life! Love you all to the moon and back! Love you forever! Can’t wait to meet you all someday! Happy Saturday sweeties!

    I love this peaceful passage.
Several years ago this passage was in our SRT reading on Thanksgiving. I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to share it.
It was such a beautiful moment as we stood there holding hands and praying and I tearfully spoke this blessing from our Lord.

  11. Joy says:

My daughter, fellow She, Annie, made prayer cards for her father, my husband’s funeral putting his name in this verse.
The Lord bless Michael and keep Michael; The Lord cause his face to shine on Michael, And be gracious to Michael; The Lord lift up his face to Michael, And give him peace.
It provides me comfort during my time of great grief and deep sorrow.

  18. (other) Rachel says:

Love this blessing given by the Lord and spoken by Moses over Aaron and his sons…and while it was specifically to the priests of Israel, I will boldly appropriate it as a member of “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Pet 2:9). Have a great weekend ladies! (MEGAN – Praying that supernatural wisdom and discernment will guide you).

  19. Leanna Thompson says:

Tami I noticed you stated you didn’t have a spiritual gift. I believe you do. Your gift may not have been revealed to you yet.
    1 Corinthians 12: 4-11
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 1and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

  20. Rachel says:

What a beautiful blessing that quiets my soul and fills my heart with such peace. It couldn’t come at a more needed time. I’ve been struggling with guilt and shame about past choices and mistakes. These verses and this study together has reminded me about the goodness and graciousness of a king who is in constant pursuit of us. I am in awe of the sweetness, the love, and kindness that Jesus has extended to me. I am so grateful for the time to read about these people in God’s word who are remembered because of their association with Christ.
I pray each of you finds such love and comfort in these words today and regardless of what you are going through you have a God that loves you fiercely. ♥️
    Have a blessed weekend!

  24. Rhonda J. says:

    Good Morning Sweet Sisters!

I love this scripture! It seems like the BEST close of a letter there could ever be, or the end of a conversation! A beautiful sentiment to leave with someone you care about. My old pastor says it often at the end to the congregation, which I love since Moses told Aaron this is what you are to say to the Israelites (God’s people!).

May God shine his light on you this weekend sisters and bless you! I have group today (Practicing Prayer) and we will be discussing things that block or hinder our prayers! It is good to review these, we definitely want our prayers to be heard and answered.

KELLY (NEO) ❤️ praying for young mama, paperwork and job. How’s your husband’s search going?

    1. Kelly (NEO) says:

Thanks for asking. My husband has not started his job search, which is fine. He is taking the time to get some major house projects done (yea) while he thinks about what he might want to do. There are no local opportunities in his field (radio), so he is praying about where he can use his skill set in a different one.
All of paperwork is in for my young mama. I’ll find out tomorrow when her start date is.
