Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
Their descendants will serve him;
the next generation will be told about the Lord.
They will come and declare his righteousness;
to a people yet to be born
they will declare what he has done.
—Psalm 22:30–31

What a blessing to have a family history/legacy of faith. Mine goes back 3 generations for sure to my greatgrands, but I dont know beyond that. For my kids it would extend to go back 4 generations and what a gift that is. We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our first grandchild very soon. Praise the Lord, our daughter and SIL love Jesus. I have already bought baby a Bible and been praying that they come to know Jesus at an early age. Knowing Jesus and living for Him is the best thing we can desire for our loved ones and there is nothing more important to tell than Jesus changes everything.

CEE GEE… I tried to send you a message on another platform… it says “user unavailable” again.

I have a couple of study Bibles, but hubby and I like to listen to John MacArthur. (Heaven is rejoicing that he is now present there.) I think I want his study Bible. What do you like best about it?
I have his 2nd Version Study Bible. In the NASB (I love how all pronouns for God and Jesus are capitalized. I have used his for years.
Hello Shes …
We are women in the Word
of God everyday!
The special section on “Jesus & Women” was surely worth the price of the physical study book.
Highlighting the ways He interacted with women as exception the ancient time & culture.
He taught us, honored us, healed us, received their support for His ministry, appeared to us after resurrection, entrusted us to share the Good News, praised their generous giving, and revealed His identity of the Messiah.
These are astonishing declarations of beauty, goodness & truth.
Rest it in.
Grace upon Grace.
So strange it let me reply to one person and then reverted back to not working. Same as yesterday.
Praying for tech.
Sharon, have fun tonight and tell of Jesus in your life! I love that you can just introduce your husband as Rev Jeff?! How would that go over? lol. That makes a statement in itself right?!
They will DECLARE what He has done—!
How will your family know what my Jesus has done for me if we are quite?! How will my friends know if I don’t share Him?! We should be scattering seeds all around us, especially to our family and friends! Watering them when the come upon troubles and doubts! We want to speak truth in our words and praises to our Jesus!! It is the greatest GIFT ever of redemption and salvation!! Where is the excitement and joy?! Are you revealing fruits?
The old testament re-enforces over and over—Remember and Tell! Remember My great mercies. Remember my shelter. Remember my provisions. Remember my miracles in the impossible! And pass the stories down to your children, and their children and a thousand generations.
We ate meals together and prayed first at our house. The grands came over and loved this ritual that was not in their own homes! We rooted in them. We spoke of Jesus, and played praise music. Now we have been gone for years and I worry for them, but the seeds are there! I worry my son is drifting away, but God. “Raise (train) them up in the word and truth, and they will not depart from it when they are old.” He is sovereign. He is good. He is pulling and using things to reveal Himself to them. The word will not return void! Amen! Shine the light of God’s love She’s!
Let it be bright!? And obvious! Ask the Spirit to fill you daily, so you may walk in Him! It is our responsibility to move in action with Him!! What a gift beyond salvation!! Nothing blesses you more than seeing how God works in bringing people to Him!!
Praying for all of you last night and today! Praying your faith will stay strong, that you will put your faith in action! Pray that your troubles will meet Jesus, and you will cast them on Him! I pray that you love the unlovable in your life. I pray broken relationships are restored. I pray Lord that you will use our test and messes will become testimonies and messages.
Maybe you are new here today…and you wonder about the Jesus and what he is all about. Ask him in your life and reveal himself to you! Move forward in action of reading the bible, a few scriptures at a time. Pray for openness, and give him your troubles today. He will will meet you. He will heal you. Ask him to forgive you of all your sins, and you are forgiven. Everything before today, is gone. You are a new woman today. You will have a new destination after your life here is over. With our Savior in Heaven.
Hugs and Love! Thank you for the prayers, my migraine has seemed to go away!! Thank you Lord for answered prayers!!
Amen, Rhonda❤️
Amen❤️
Our faith is not just for us—it’s part of a larger, unfolding story. God’s work in our lives can become a testimony for someone not even born yet. Whether you’re a parent, mentor, or simply a believer walking faithfully, you are contributing to a legacy of worship.
Yes amen!! Isn’t that something so amazing!! That’s why I try to write the answered prayers and miracles down…someone will read hopefully in my family and HEAR!
I can’t believe I can reply!! Yay!!
I love when I read: “to a people yet to be born” It made me think of how important it is or us (me) to continue talking, sharing, expressing, leading, pointing….to JESUS! Even in the hard times, not for our glory, but for HIS so they may know we will serve the LORD no matter what is going on on all around us. As mentioned (in the past) I was raised Catholic. I heave great aunts who are nuns and my mom’s oldest brother is a priest. Oh…my sweet, sweet uncle who I was able to see just last year when he came to the US for a visit. It’s very apparent that he LOVES Jesus! All this to say, how very important it is for us to keep sharing and spreading so those yet to be born will come to a relationship with OUR JESUS! My JESUS is my everything!!!
My grandmother and my mom and my uncle were believers. I’m not sure about further back. But that’s ok, we can start where we are making a difference. Telling our stories of God’s deliverance and healing and provision!
He is so good to me and I could never deserve it! Yet He showers me with live every day! He hears my cry’s and comes to strengthen me! I’m feeler with gratitude!
This prophetic Psalm is so fitting after yesterday’s reading. We must GO and TELL! I like Wiersbe’s note on “generations”:
“The blessings of the atonement and the kingdom will not be temporary but perpetual, from one generation to another. Three generations are listed here:
a seed (see Is. 53:2),
a second generation,
and those not yet born.
This reminds us of 2 Timothy 2:2. But the emphasis isn’t on what God’s children have done but on the fact that the Lord did it all: what “He has done” (Ps. 22:31).
“It is finished” is what Jesus cried from the cross (John 19:30).

No maintenance person has come to my young mama’s place. She has a fan blowing on the drywall and the water has stopped. Thanks for your prayers
Praying for young mama for favor and to get this cleaned up quick. No mold to grow!
I’m not sure how far back in my own family believers go, but I do know my mom & grandmother were believers and there were quite a few pastors in my family.
Praise God for all the apostles, disciples, and all other believers from long ago who continued to share the gospel message – until it reached me! May we all continue to pass on the good news of the gospel so that it continues to spread throughout all generations.

Such pain, prophecy and praise throughout Psalm 22.
My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
Why are You so far from helping Me,
.
Our fathers trusted in You;
They trusted, and You delivered them.
They cried to You, and were delivered;
They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.
.
“He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”
.
They pierced My hands and My feet;
I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.
They divide My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.
.
You have answered Me.
.
I will declare Your name to My brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.
You who fear the Lord, praise Him!
.
All the ends of the world
Shall remember and turn to the Lord,
And all the families of the nations
Shall worship before You.
.
All those who go down to the dust
Shall bow before Him

This verse took me straight back to secondary school, all those moons ago!
We had been learning about the slaves trade and how it had had an impact on the town we were being schooled in. The teacher began to read from a text book, I vaguely heard my name a lifted my head, she was still reading… I returned my wondering mind to the book and found where she was reading from.. I found my surname.. huh..
I couldn’t wait to get home to ask Dad why our surname was in the history book..
.
Well, turns out my grandfather’s grandfather had something to do with fighting for the slave trade to be abolished..
Wow! A mind blower for the 13 year old me!
.
I tell you this not for anything other than it’s a little more about who I am, but also this verse could relate to us.. my family.
My ancestors knew God, they believed. Their descendants, continued the journey of fath, trusting.. then came grandad, whose faith could not be shaken even in the death of 4 of his children (through illness)..
.THE NEXT GENERATION WILL BE TOLD ABOUT THE LORD..
.
Then, my dearest daddy, he carried that faith and belief, it may not have been tightly, but it was there and enough for little old me to remember it when the going got tough, hard, painful.
.
THEY WILL PROCLAIM HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS TO A PEOPLE YET TO BE BORN.. THEY WILL DECLARE WHAT HE HAS DONE..
.
I will indeed declare what HE has done and continues to do each day, each month, each year.. from healing to provision to protection to saving to His faithfulness, His love, His grace, His mercy…
.
The beginning of this Psalm held despair, each generation has had its fair share of thst i am sure..
.
BUT GOD..
Ever faithful, never changing, forever loving God, has been with each generation through the thick and thin of our lives..
.
So yes, I will remember and I will bow before in constant prayer and praise for all HE has done and continues to do..
.
AMEN.
.
.
It’s been a week, glad to be here today. Prayerful all are well. Sending you much love and hugs covered in prayers..
