Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
Yet the LORD had his heart set on your ancestors and loved them. He chose their descendants after them—he chose you out of all the peoples, as it is today.
—Deuteronomy 10:15

Amen!
I got to have lunch with Amanda, her husband and the two youngest kids yesterday. It was the highlight of my month. She is recovering well from her surgery. She still has a drain in the incision, so that’s bothered, but it’s still draining quite a bit, so she understands that she would much rather have that stuff draining out of her than inside her. Amanda starts physical therapy on Monday for her arm to try to prevent lymphodema. I’m praying and believing that God is completely heals her.
Praying the same, Teresa ❤️
He chose Me! Hallelujah!!
HE chose ME! HE chose YOU, sweet She’s! We have ONE Father and I’m so blessed to be part of this beautiful community of She’s! Happy Saturday sweeties… Summer has gone by so quickly. Next week is my last week OFF! We start meetings August 4th! I saw the list of our new TK students and I know at least three of them as they are siblings! I’m SO excited!!!!
Seems like you just got out of school for summer!!
WOW!
Who won the week?
As they say at The Bible Project.
The Bible is one unified story pointing to Jesus!
What a humbling blessing, comfort and beautiful reminder that He chose us, values us and sets us apart. We are His. Thank you, Father ❤️
Ok… dumb question and NOT related to the reading… I am using my iPad mini. I have autofill turned off. When I comment here, however, it acts like autofill is not off for this site and wants to autofill my first and last name (and I like to use just my first), and I have to type in my email address. It seemed like it used to autofill properly (before I turned it off, maybe?) Help meeeeeee! Please!
I shoulda kept investigating. (I answered my own question! I played around with turning autofill back on, and it worked like it once did!)
Glad you figured it out
On my laptop, When I reply I put my info in every comment it takes me out of comments each time as well…(glad I am patient, but it is frustrating)
Same, Rhonda. It’s very frustrating having to keep scrolling to find where I was in the feed. I also get repeats of some ladies’ replies so I cant understand what they’re referencing until I find the original comment.
He chose ME (and YOU, sweet sisters)!
Asking for prayer. I have a job interview on Wednesday. Thank you.

Writing it down! His will be done, Leanna.
Leanne I’m praying for you to know God’s will with regard to a new job. And for you to have a good interview on Wednesday.

You chose us Father God. Thank you for something I cannot even begin to comprehend. In Jesus name, Amen

Thank you for asking. David is doing well, and he has a new, very experienced male caregiver who will be able to take home out in the community for his activities starting next week, plus another potential one. I’ve never had an agency find me even one qualified person before; I always had to find my own. So this is a case of my prayers being answered beyond my wildest dreams. I appreciate so much your partnership in prayer. ❤️
Margaret, I’m praising God for providing just the caregivers you and David need.
Thank you. I do *think* and am hopeful the kidney stone has indeed dissolved and passed. Most, but not all my symptoms are gone, but seeing as I didn’t present as typical at all and in as much pain as would be expected, it could still be present. I have a follow-up U/S on Thursday, so praying all will be well.:)
So sweet of you to ask and remember. Someone has made a very successful gofundme for him, so that is a praise. He has begun treatments but I don’t know anymore than that. My son is planning to visit him in the next couple weeks (they live in different states) so may learn more then. Please keep praying!! Thank you!!
GM Shes!
I have a good praise this morning! I haven’t been to Homeless Serving in a long time, and say every Friday I should really go, but don’t feel like it with my chronic back pain! But yesterday, I got myself to go (it was heat index of 104!) and I prayed on the way…Lord, I want to go to say hi to some of my friends I made last year and year before, I pray for some great encounters! And sure enough as soon as I got there I was embarrassed by many previous relationships I had made! We were guiltily happy to see each other and I told them I had kept them in my prayers through the year. There were at least 5 good conversations. I know they truly saw Jesus in me as far as “seeing” them. Then I was able to talk to someone that didn’t know about Jesus, and was able to say the salvation prayer with him!! Oh how the Spirit has helped me be forward and earnest in sharing the hope of Jesus!! I am so happy I made myself go despite not really wanting to, which isn’t that always….? We don’t really “want” to “do” or “step out.” My friend is the one that organizes and does the serving EVERY single friday afternoon for years, at least 15 years! What a dedication and devotion…I can’t imagine.
I have my group this morning! The theme of the group and name is “Practicing Prayer!” Today we will discuss praying for ourselves. I need Lord…
We present our needs to the Lord. Some people feel guilty praying for themselves, but the Lord says…come to me, all who are weary, all who are laiden. He says cast all your cares on me. He says Ask and you will receive, SEEK me and you will find, knock and the door will be open. Take our burdens on him…
He takes all of our cares, wants us to bring them to him. It is AMAZING really isn’t it? We are his children, that he wants to talk with, have conversations…we talk, he listens, he speaks back to us. Then we grow in this relationship!! How sweet it is!!
So give your cares to him today She’s. Sit at his feet and talk today about what you want and need, don’t feel guilty, he wants to hear from you!
Yea! Another one joining the party in heaven
Good morning Rhonda! So glad you got to go and it was a blessing! Love you sweet lady!
Instead of just v 15, I started at v 12 and went through 21 ❤️

MERCY ❤️❤️ joining in praise for this wonderful work assessment! And thank you for your thoughts on John.
ANNIE ❤️ praying
ASHLEY M ❤️
SHARON JERSEY GIRL – praying for relief and healing for Danielle!!
RHONDA J – thank you for asking about sin …the sin on tvs, in movies, in books, in music even … I was taught a lesson going on 40 years ago now, by a couple from church on a ‘get to know’ outing with my ex. The dinner was a disaster and no need to rehash that, but 15 minutes into the movie they said we aren’t watching anymore of this and left. Looking back, they did the right thing but it was shocking to me at the time. Have you ever heard or said – about a show, movie or book – you have to overlook the language (or pick a sin) because the plot/story is so great? Oh yikes, that was me :( I finally learned that once you see, hear or read it, you can’t undo it – good lesson for me.
TAMI ❤️ “I’m not where I was (but I’m not where I want to be either“
CEE GEE – great daily verses! ❤️ Sanctuary – thanks for sharing!

Praying for my family member’s recovery, and especially the teens and parenting wisdom for them.
Yes, we seem to look over. I turned on a WW2 series the other day and it started about 3 or 4 minutes in and flipped to a full on porn scene, I quickly ff through it…and then kept watching. It’s like why do they do that?! I decided I can’t watch it because it will inevitably show more if it had inserted it in right from the start. It amazes me and my sister, when we are all together with our grown kids (20’s) watching a movie, and it will show a sex scenes and they are so accustomed to it. That’s how the sly devil works…normalizing sin.
Oh wow, Rhonda…ironically my daughter (just a few minutes ago) asked if we could go to Target to return a book she just purchased that ended up being so inappropriate!
Good for your daughter. Yep, lots of inappropriate stuff now that people don’t even bat an eye. We have been sneakily trained well to ignore…and then more and more comes in.
Yet the LORD had his heart set on your ancestors (my great grandfather, his father and his father before him), and HE loved them. He chose their descendants , (thats my grandfather my dad), after them—he chose you, (ME,YOU) out of all the peoples, as it is today.

In this day and age…

Praise God He included us!! What if we were not grafted in…that is indeed a sobering thought. It would all be for loss..in the end. Praise God he loves everyone equally and wants us!
