I really enjoyed this study on all the different names of God and grateful for all the songs we shared too each day! Praying for so many this morning and your loved ones. Love how Lynne is going the extra mile helping with VBS and blessings to those attending and helping at summer camps and safe travels. Praying camp teachers will not grow weak or weary and the joy will outweigh it all. Praying for Texas every day and those affected by the flooding. Also praying for Teresa’s daughter Amanda, Cathy’s daugher Brittanie, Kellie’s young mama and husband’s job search, Grammie Sue’s business finances and Steve, Foster Mama’s marriage, Searching’s family, Michelle’s co-worker/job, Linda’s caretaking, Rhonda and Elaine’s pain, A Walton’s housing, Asleigh’s family finances and medical things and so many others. Prayers that we all stay close to God and shine for others and have peace.

    Sweet She’s,
I am so blessed by your comments and prayers every day and privileged to pray for your requests. Thankful for SRT and this study. I think of the comment during this study recognizing Jehovah-Rapha (comment actually referred to maybe Yahweh-Rapha?) as God our healer, as I come today asking for fervent prayer. Our son’s friend (early 30s) has been given a devastating diagnosis and needs a miracle. Please pray for that miracle and for his wife who is expecting their first baby. God works all things for good, so please also pray this situation brings them, as well as our son and dil, to rely on Jesus, and not have the opposite effect.
    Thank you, precious ladies. ❤️

Sing to God! Sing praises to his name.

his name is the LORD—and celebrate before him.
    —Psalm 68:4

Gonna try hard to sing praises!

    1. Tina says:

      B. Will praise in the young mans place, as I cover him in prayer and ask Father God to be merciful and bring about a miracle that will bring Him and only Him glory! Amen.

    2. Tanya says:

Father God in the name of Jesus, the Name above all names, you know the name of the young man who needs the miracle. You know what to do and how to do it and you know the situation. We ask that you manifest yourself as the solution and the glory will be yours in Jesus’s name.
      Amen

    3. Searching says:

Joining my sisters in prayer for the miracle needed plus wisdom and guidance for decisions, options and treatment in the waiting.

    4. Traci Gendron says:

Oh this breaks my heart. They are just getting started in adulthood/parenthood. Prayers

    5. Nads says:

I echo your prayer B, that this will teach them right at the beginning of marriage and parenthood to rely on God and the power of prayer; Lord Jesus, we pray always for Your but could I possibly bias You to complete healing and a miracle that convicts the medical team and beyond?!? Thank you for hearing us, Lord, Omnipotent One

  5. Adrienne says:

After a busy week of VBS, I am so tired. (I’m too old for this… Heeheehee!) I was a woman in the Word of God every day, but just not here. I am glad that SRT provides “Grace Day” for us… thank you, SRT! I have spent more than a coupla hours catching up on the readings and comments, the prayer requests (both big and what others might think as silly!) and the praise reports. I wish I could reply to many comments!
    .
Suffice it to say… Jesus loves each and every one of my sweet sisters! Hope your day is beautiful thus far!

    1. Tina says:

      ❤️

  6. Cheryl Blow says:

Loved the reminder of the old hymn! All the names of God! This has meant so much to me! All of your insights! Songs shared! It has been a blessing!

Praying for all of you! Have a blessed weekend!

Update on baby Levi – he is gaining weight and is 5 months. He is still small but he is a happy baby! Praise God!

    1. Kelly (NEO) says:

      Praise the Lord❣️

  7. Cheryl Blow says:

    Amen, Tina!

  8. Gwineth52 says:

“Exalt him who rides on the clouds”
    Who can evince such imagery?
    Who can invoke such adoration?
This is the Christ. None other.
    This is me. His, only.

  9. Lynne from Alabama says:

Good morning precious sisters! I am still here every day (very early since I went back to work) but still praying for each of your requests. I try to check back during the day to check comments since there are only one or two (thank you Tina) when I’m here in the morning. I always read the previous day’s comments to see what I may have missed. I wish I had time to comment to each of you personally to let you know that I’m praying but being gone from home ten hours a day doesn’t leave me that much time. I assure you that you are being prayed for! ❤️

Please pray for me this coming week. I volunteered to work at VBS before I went back to work and just decided to go ahead and fulfill that commitment even though it is going to be physically hard. I will go straight to church after work and will be gone from home about 14-15 hours each day. That’s a lot for an old lady! VBS starts tomorrow night and goes through Wednesday night. Pray that God will use this VBS to reach many children and their families. Also Jack’s birthday is Thursday and I find that all these firsts without him are especially hard. I miss him so much!

Kelly (NEO)—thank you for asking about baby Banks. The brain tumor really hasn’t shrunk but it isn’t growing either. Praise the Lord for that!

Love and prayers to you all! ❤️

    1. Cheryl Blow says:

Praying for strength for you, Lynne! Also, for all the firsts you will encounter!

    2. DW says:

Praying for your strength as you serve in VBS and as Jacks birthday comes around.

    3. Tanya says:

May G-d renew your strength so you can run and not be weary and run and not faint. May the Holy Spirit comfort you on this Heavenly Birthday.

    4. Teresa Donley says:

Praying for God’s extra strength as you minister to children in VBS this week, Lynne. And for His comfort especially on Jack’s birthday. Love you, Sister ❤️

    5. Tina says:

      Much love dearest Lynne..❤️❤️

  10. Emily B. says:

This verse made me think of the old hymn “Down at the Cross.” The chorus is definitely a celebration!

    “Glory to his name,
    Glory to his name;
    There to my heart was the blood applied;
    Glory to his name!“

    1. Gwineth52 says:

Thank you, Emily B, for bringing this old hymn to spirit & soul!

    2. Searching says:

Thank you, Emily B! I could not have told you the name of the song, but I knew the tune to those words right away ❤️

  11. Cee Gee says:

ADRIENNE- Now it’s my turn to ask if you are okay? I have missed you since I got back! ❤ Praying all is well!

    1. Adrienne says:

I am here… just tired (see above!) Thank you for checking on me! ❤️

      1. Rhonda J. says:

I was gonna check on you too! I thought you were newly retired?! lol

I envy ya’ll that do VBS, oh the memories, but no desires these days to be with children all day long!

Dear Lynn, thanks for giving us the update. Love and hugs to you, and Adreinne both.

It’s frustrating for every comment, it takes you out of comments, and you have to come back through. Not frustrating …but you get what I mean, right She’s. So it makes me not comment for everyone even though I want to! :)

        1. Tina says:

Rhonda, a little secret.. tick save my name, then if you repeat press the send comment button it usually comes up that you have already sent and asks you to go back press that and carry on .. your comment wont show but it will next time round..try it..❤️❤️

      2. Cee Gee says:

❤ Starting VBS Monday evening… going through Friday evening.

  12. Cee Gee says:

Sing praises to God and to his name!

I just love the NLT version:
Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds.

His name is the LORD —

    rejoice in his presence!
    .
What a great study this has been! I know we only scratched the surface, but wow!
    .
SEARCHING, you made me smile- #1 song detective, hahaha!
I was thinking before sleep last night that I had probably over-shared yesterday! ❤
    .
Have a wonderful weekend, sisters! Love, hugs, and prayers!
    .
TERESA DONLEY- Praying for Amanda’s surgery on Monday! Our lifegroup isn’t meeting right now, but I will mention it to our leader. ❤

    1. Rhonda J. says:

Yes, it has been a good study, I didn’t realize it was to the end!

Teresa- continued prayers for you daughter!

Songs are so good…especially for praising HIM for who he is, what he does for us every hour, minute and day! I have been singing Psalms, what a difference adding song and melody to them! Look up Jason Silver- Psalms 57 on youtube. He has many, but this I am trying to memorize and good smaller verses to use in prayer.

      1. Cee Gee says:

Yes,songs! Shane and Shane do a lot with Psalms, too. I will check out Jason Silver! ❤

  13. Jennifer Jackson says:

This study was so good! Thank you

  14. Wendy B says:

    *PRAISE REPORT* YUP, ANOTHER ONE!!*
I had a lengthy, honest, productive, (in some way awe-inspiring)
conversation with my goddaughter’s grandmother yesterday…. SO MANY things have been extremely difficult, uphill climbs and additional UNDUE stress is being added to her BUT……
    (drum roll pleeeeaazzzz)

    *

They found housing in the exact place she truly hoped they’d live!!!! The situation is not perfect but wonderful in SO many ways!!!!!!

Thank you to each and every one of you who have prayed.

    1. Cee Gee says:

      That’s AWEsome Foster Mama! ❤

    2. Kelly (NEO) says:

Can so relate to housing with “The situation is not perfect but wonderful in SO many ways!” as that would describe my young mama’s situation.
      .
Praising God from whom all blessings flow.

    3. Rhonda J. says:

Love the praise reports and to the GLORY of God moving! Some are big and instant, but most are small things leading us step by step, (a lamp at our feet), that keeps us looking to him along the path, that slowly (painstakingly slow often) will keep us reliant in his great mercy!! Jesus is never in a hurry. We learn to trust through it all! We see it in all of the heroes of faith. And in Paul, and Peter and so on. We don’t like to be patient and humble, Lord help us. Direct our steps. Fill our tanks Lord every morning. We just can’t do it on our own. We need you. and we need our sisters in Christ!

    4. Tina says:

Foster Mama this is worthy of praise news for sure..
      Prsise God..❤️❤️

  16. Jane K says:

    Amen❤️❤️❤️

  17. Sharon Jersey Girl says:

“Sing to God! Sing praises to his name.”
Boy did we sing praises to God last night, and celebrated before Him! Chris Tomlin did an amazing job of leading us all in worship – under the stars.
The phrase “name above names” came up often through the night, many of His songs had the theme about the names of God & at one point on the screen – it was completely filled with names of God. The entire concert fit right in to this study – it was amazing!!
A taste of heaven! I try to imagine heaven, the singing the praises, the celebration but can’t quite comprehend it. It is too wonderful to even imagine!!
    ———-
To all who prayed for me & my sister thank you, thank you!! Her headache went away, I didn’t get one, the humidity had dropped & there was even a nice breeze – God is good!
    ———
@Traci Gendren – I love Philippians 2:9-11; Chris Tomlin loudly read & proclaimed this scripture last night.
@Teresa Donnelly – praying for Amanda’s surgery, and that in the name of Jesus, she will be completely healed!
@my sisters – continued prayers for all your requests
    ————
    Happy Saturday She’s! ❤️❤️❤️

    1. Tina says:

Yes He is Sharon. Hope you had a wonderful time praising with your sister..Mwah..❤️❤️❤️

    2. Cee Gee says:

Sharon, this makes my heart smile! Thanks for sharing the details. Yes, I noticed yesterday how many of the songs shared this week were by Chris Tomlin! ❤❤❤

    3. DW says:

So thankful you both felt well and were able to praise together! That sounds so amazing! To sing “Holy Forever” in that setting must have been a teeny taste of heaven! Love the picture of all those praises rising in the center of NYC!

    4. Rhonda J. says:

Wow, Praise God Sharon!! Sounds like an amazing night!! And to get to share with your sister, that’s great!! Glad God took away her headache and you both were feeling good!! I love going to Christian concert, and hearing everyone…singing the same praise/prayer/worship to GOD!! It is so amazing, and a small glimpse of heaven!!

    5. Rhonda J. says:

It is neat how God brings “things” from different places all together. We listened to a snippet of “He’s a good, good Father..” (Isn’t that Chris Tomlin?) in my Practicing Prayer group this morning, which goes with THIS study because we start prayer praising the God, the father, and who He is (names of God…and how they apply to the attributes)!

    6. Tanya says:

God cares about everything in our lives. “Be careful for Nothing..
      We can pray about Everything.”
I just a book on worship that Chris Tomlin wrote. Thanks for sharing this testimony!

    7. Teresa Donley says:
