Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.
—Ephesians 2:8–10

I am so thankful for God’s grace! My mom was truly worried about how I would turn out! A typical day for me would be to track mud all over the house with the dog I just let in, unplug and plug in a light enough times to make a smoke stain go up the wall, and while I had made my mom cry while she was ironing, I would laugh and say in my Dishonest John voice (some will know), nah ah, Nah! I made you cry!
Apparently I was a hellion! I could cuss like a sailor! But at the old age of 8 God began His work in me! He is still working on me but at least now if I see someone crying, I want to comfort them! I am still a work in progress but God loved me! I thank God every day for loving me and remind myself of how much I need His grace!
Have a great weekend! I wish my mom was still here so I could hug her and tell her how sorry I am for all the grief I caused her! And tell her I love her!
If your mama still here, call her up or go see her if possible.
By Grace and Grace alone I am, we are. saved. Thank you JESUS as we could never have done it ourselves. Thank you SWEET She’s for your heart-felt prayers! Love you SO much! I know God has a plan! Meanwhile, moving forward, I’m not going to let it stop me from planning our summer trip that we were attempting (and still are) to take last week of June. Court date is set for June 23. Grateful for my son who helps pay for the trip and expenses. God is and will always be good! Happy Saturday sweet She’s!

These are very familiar verses, memorized long ago. May they never become mundane but stir excitement every time they are read!

Saved by Grace…not from yourselves….
I have to admit, sometimes, I’m like…I was SO Smart to say YES to God…I am so amazing to be a Jesus-follower, Why wouldn’t everyone be LIKE ME to have faith in the Almighty God?!!!..(like me…!!)
I’m funny, yeah. But really I just want everyone to receive his amazing gift of love, AND let their lives be changed, and (….us all live happily together!) Yes, it is our free will and choice to receive Jesus, but God also worked my bad and wayward ways to bring me to him as well. That always takes me down the rabbit trail though of…then won’t all of us be saved in the end if he is working it out??! (Another conversation!)
I have to remind myself that I was “one of them” (WE ALL WERE!), that even though I was the “older son” since I grew up in church, I still had to own the choice and realize I was a sinner too and needed Jesus saving grace. My mother though most likely saw me as the “daughter that ran off living large and squandering my inheritance.” Mostly I was claiming salvation but not making Jesus the Lord of my life…choosing my own direction while praying and thanking Jesus along the way.
We all are baby Christians at the onset of salvation, but we want to develop a relationship with Jesus and become closer and wiser in Him through Him, letting sanctification happen to develop us. The more you know him the more you want to know him. Don’t stay lukewarm…”for it is better to have not known him at all. ” Don’t just take the gift and throw it aside, it is a beautiful gift of Mercy and Grace…but so much more. It’s the gift that keeps on giving! He becomes your everything, and your life becomes surrendered to him. Thank you Jesus for this overwhelming love. We don’t always “feel” it, but through your word we know You are Always with us, going in front of us, beside, behind. You are present through every single day, giving us your daily manna, the light at our feet, the wing for our shelter. You hold it all with your righteous right hand, we are yours. Thank you Lord.
Amen to all that!
Yes and amen! Love this, Rhonda!

And a prayer request – local company that deals with very sensitive information was hit with malware earlier this week, and still struggling to eliminate it and assess damage from data being compromised. Praying the clean can be accomplished soon, and that there was no theft of sensitive information.
Praying for everyone affected by this and that it can be resolved quickly. My oldest daughter had all her devices hacked several months ago and is still dealing with the fallout. It has been very traumatic and she could certainly use your prayers.
Eeek! Prayers for all involved here. ❤️❤️
Praying this gets resolved & that no sensitive details were stolen!

Thank you Searching. Thank you for saying that as it did catch me off guard and I was very upset, but I needed that reminder this morning that it didn’t catch our God off guard and yes I know He has a plan, and it was still very hard, but taking DEEP breaths and know MY JESUS has me. I appreciate you saying that and praying for me. I woke up thinking about it and so glad I came to SRT first thing and read this.
Praying for all these requests!
Thank you Searching!
