Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
How great is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you.
In the presence of everyone you have acted
for those who take refuge in you.
—Psalm 31:19

♥️
I heard 3 of my favorite songs on the radio. I haven’t heard the first 2 in a while and they all go perfectly with the end of this study, I think. ☺
#1 Reason by Unspoken
#2 I Trust God by Elevation Worship
#3 Honey in the Rock (We sing this at church from time to time.)
I can’t think of “Reason” off the top of my head, but I would bet I know it and love it! lol. Trust in God was a favorite at Jail Ministry last summer…and to see two girls stand up, arms raised singing it loudly every week, even saying “Thank you Jesus…throughout, it will always be a special song now!! And of course I love Honey in the Rock…b/c, obviously…BL!! lol. No the lyrics are great!
Man, you and I are gonna be singing the whole time in the Kingdom!!
Ain’t that the truth, sister!!! You have to listen to Reason! No pun intended! Lol ❤
sisters…
thank you for your responses to my post a few days ago. i am starting to feel hopeful again, that the lords plans are far better, for both josh and i, and how it will probably not be with us together. that still breaks my heart, but i know i can miss him and know it’s for the better at the same time. i just want my husband, and regardless, really want the lord – maybe more than i ever have.
i love you so much, my sisters.
Very wise and mature words, Taylor! ❤
Praying for peace, Taylor ♥️
We love you Taylor! I applaud you for the attitude, indeed, you can love a person but know they are not the right one in your heart. And coming from a 2x divorced lady…it is not fun to go that far for it not to be right! So hold tight, and trust!
Praying for you Taylor. God knows yor heart. ❤️
….“stored up for those”…”acted for those”
King Jesus, by the power of Your might,
may I be one of “those”.
Dear Shes
Spread the love & share the light
throughout Saturday & Sunday!
Amen ♥️
God is good all the time! And all the time God is good! That is where my thoughts went this morning when I read this morning‘s Grace Day verse! A little late this morning as I brought my daughter to meet with some friends at a new coffee shop in another town nearby. It is the cutest! Plus, it’s owned by Christian’s. You should see the mug that my coffee was served on. Enjoying my quiet time, even though it’s not so quiet, but I’m zoned out here with all of you!
Happy Saturday, sweeties!!
Oh how I wish we could meet up at a little cute coffee shop! I am not a fan of chains, love the family owned, and bonus- Jesus loving!
Oh….Rhonda…me too!!!
❤️
The entirety of Psalm 31 is beautiful. Thank you, Lord for your extravagant goodness. ❤️
This is from a different study I did this morning.
John 4:28 Then the woman left her water jar. (only part of the verse)
–
When you’ve been in the presence of Jesus, you just aren’t thirsty for things of this world.
Amen! ❤
Amen❤️
Beautiful thought; thanks for sharing.
That is one of my favorite stories in the Bible. Thanks for pointing that out.
That is beautiful, Traci ♥️
From Warren Wiersbe on 31:5-
“David’s prayer of commitment in verse 5 was quoted by our Lord from the cross (Luke 23:46
Luke 23:46 NLT
Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last.
and Stephen in Acts 7:59). Peter also borrowed the idea (1 Pet. 4:19); the word he used is sometimes translated “trust,” which implies “to deposit in trust, as money in a bank.”
.
Aside from our focus verse, these 3 verses stood out to me this morning:
21-Praise the Lord,
for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love.
23-Love the Lord, all you godly ones!
For the Lord protects those who are loyal to him,
24-So be strong and courageous,
all you who put your hope in the Lord!
.
Warren Wiersbe says, “The courage and strength we need in the trials of life are available from the Lord if we will put our faith in Him. Let’s be sure that we give Him the glory.”
.
The song “I Raise a Hallelujah” has come to mind frequently this week. Partial lyrics:
I raise a hallelujah
In the presence of my enemies
I raise a hallelujah
Louder than the unbelief
I raise a hallelujah
My weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah
Heaven comes to fight for me
I’m gonna sing, in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes, hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
I raise a hallelujah
With everything inside of me
I raise a hallelujah
I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a hallelujah
In the middle of the mystery
I raise a hallelujah
Fear, you lost your hold on me
.
Have a blessed Saturday, sisters. Love, hugs, and prayers to you! ❤

Asking for prayer for my husband who has the flu- that no complications develop as in the past. Thank you! ❤
CeeGee, my prayers go up for your husband. These viruses are particularly ugly this year. I’m over three weeks out and still fighting weakness and fatigue. I’m usually never sick. May prayer is for healing and a quick recovery.
Thanks so much, Elaine! Continued prayers for your complete healing, too, sister! Love you! ❤
Praying for a quick recovery without complications ♥️
Thank you, Julia! ❤
Another Good One! Prayers for your husband, and also that you don’t catch it!
❤ Thanks a bunch, Rhonda and Elizabeth. Love you both and Julia, too!
Thank you, Cee Gee. I enjoy Warren Wiersbe. I also enjoyed singing I raise a hallelujah. Praying for your husband.

Beautiful comments! God’s goodness nothing can surpass it!
“David praises the Lord’s lavish goodness. He does not place a measure on God’s goodness, because it is immeasurable. It extends far beyond our need. His goodness abounds in times of trial as well as in times of plenty. Paul writes in Romans 5:17 about the abundance of grace. He also states, “Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more” (Romans 5:20).
–
According to David, God’s goodness is not merely plentiful, it is also always stockpiled and ready. This goodness, David says, is there for those who reverence God. The believer does not have to worry that the Lord’s goodness will suddenly run out. Those who reverence Him also trust in Him for protection. David views the Lord’s goodness as available “for those who take refuge in” the Lord. Nahum 1:7 affirms, “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.” (From bibleref-dot-com)
—
God’s goodness is immeasurable, stockpiled, and ready! His goodness never, ever runs out! – What a comfort and blessing to know. No matter how many times He pours out His goodness on us, there is always more. What a treasure and privilege it is to be a child of the King!
—
Happy Saturday She’s, may His goodness abound in you today! ❤️
❤
“…always stock piled and ready…”. Love that thought and your reflections on this❤️

Oh the goodness of God! He IS everything! Lord, don’t let anything take me away from you love and goodness! The world is luring us away, BUT God- increase our faith Lord, fill our cup daily, giving us our daily bread! I want and desire the Lord daily. The more you seek, the more He is there, the more you want to know Him and his goodness. Don’t let complacency and apathy take you away- keep your eyes on the Lord everyday! We are running the race of life, our story is being written continually!
Last night I grabbed my journal from 2003. I didn’t journal, or log my prayers till this time. I was going through a hurtful and painful separation. I loved reading my words. Our stories are good when God is in the center (which He is), but when we realize He is, was, and will be.
I have my first group this morning! I still get nervous, even though I love, love, love group! I still feel like a Moses, not good with my words and thoughts, not a good speaker! But God–He always leads me! The bible study is “Surrendered” by Barb Rose! And I am going to give us time to journal what we need to lay down and surrender right now. I’m going to share a little of laying down my control and “fix it” in my marriage the last couple of years! God has been faithful. I appreciate your prayers!
♥️ love your heart, dear Ronda! Lifting you to Jesus!
What a blessing to be able to share with a group of ladies, Rhonda. Praying God gives you just the right words, said in just the right way. You’ve got this, because God will be directing you! ❤️
Your testimonies always bless my heart, Rhonda!
❤ Praying the words flow today by the power of the Holy Spirit!
Love you, sweet lady! You’re gonna do great because Jesus has you! And we are all praying for you!
♥️
Amen

Just when I cannot imagine receiving any more goodness from God, this verse reminds me there is yet more stored up to be given to me in His timing❣️

Tears flowing in thankfulness and gratefulness as I read through all of Psalm 31 this morning. This chapter in NKJV is titled The LORD a Fortress in Adversity.

I too read all of Psalm 31, Searching. I love how David flutters back and forth between his raw emotions, and God’s faithfulness. He (David) was so human, just like us.
Great stuff as always, SEARCHING! Thanks again for the prayer recap! Love you! ❤
Thank you, dear Searching ♥️
Lately my prayers have been “Where are You, God?”. Feelings of loneliness crept in… Even though these feelings are valid and true, they are not to be mistaken for THE truth. I was reminded of that through this study of Genesis. I just read these fragments in Daily Doctrine by Kevin de Young and would like to share them with you:
—
“Genesis is about the beginning of everything except for God. He always has been, always is, and always will be.”
.
“God predates the story because the story that has been decreed, that one we read in the Bible, the one that you and I inhabit, is a story that has God as its author and its object and its center. God doesn’t enter into the story, because he is the story.”
.
“We live and move and have our being in God (Acts 17:28), not the other way around. In a world that constantly tells us to “express ourselves” and “find ourselves” and sometimes even to “create ourselves”, we must remember that only God has life in himself, only God exists of himself, and only God owes his being to no one and nothing.”
—
Dear Father,
You owe us nothing, but You gave us everything.
Life, redemption, forgiveness, peace, joy, Yourself…
In the words of Psalm 31, as TINA already mentioned:
“What a stack of blessing you have piled up for those who worship you,
Ready and waiting for all who run to you to escape an unkind world.”
Thank You!
May we be reminded of Your truth and experience Your presence in our lives.
AMEN.
Thank you for sharing those quotes. So good. Such truth. We are often so self-centered and think it’s about us.
Julia, God is right there with you, within you. It is so hard when you don’t feel it. I’ve had those season myself. Praying he would reveal himself to you and that you feel his presence today ❤️
♥️
❤️
♥️
Thank you for sharing and reminding us of the Great I AM, Julia C – sending a big hug your way. ❤️
♥️
Thank you Julia, great share. We love you!
♥️
Amen! Thank you Julia. ❤️
♥️
I have felt that distance from God and it frightened me. I felt less protected from our world. But in my heart I know He is always there.
♥️
The TRUTH – amen, Julia! Thanks for sharing! ❤
♥️
Thank you for sharing. May the Lord’s presence overflow to you ❤️
♥️
God is our refuge and strength
❤️
How great is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you.
In the presence of everyone you have acted
for those who take refuge in you.
.
.
The message says it this way..
.
What a stack of blessing you have piled up for those who worship you, Ready and waiting for all who run to you to escape an unkind world.
.
I love this version. My kind of language!
.
That there should be a pile of blessings for ME, as I worship the Lord.
Be it in actions, word, deed or song, He, the Lord wants to bless me and protect me, keeping me safe from the unkindness of the world and life.. not just against me but in and of my own doing too..
I run to Him, in whatever state, good, bad, ugly, He wants to bless me with His open arms and cover me in His love..
.
A beautiful Saturday morning read..
Thank you Father God, that you have got me, left, right and center.. and that your plan for me is always to bless me, as I worship you..
I praise you Lord God.
As I go about my day, dear God, may my life and whatever I do, be in worship to you..
In Jesus’s name I pray, with Thanksgiving..
AMEN.
.
It’s Saturday! Be blessed, covered in hugs and wrapped in prayers for a glorious God present weekend!❤️

Amen ❤️
