Good night, She’s! I pray for all of you, as you ready yourself for church I pray you find yourself simply crying out what they’ve been crying out for all eternity and will continue to cry out for all eternity to come: “Holy is the Lord God Almighty!”
Amen!! ❤️
❤️
ONE more thing. Please pray for my son Caleb and his friend’s group. They will be travelling to Oregon tonight for their annual friendsgiving trip.
Praying Mari V!
Today I will practice hospitality
❤️
I’ve never been one who practices hospitality. Mainly because I’m embarrassed of what I don’t/didn’t have. Funny I was just thinking a few days ago when we (the place I once called home) hosted a home group bible study and I remember LOVING having people over to our small home. Though life happened, all those friends are still my friends today. I am so BLESSED by those who hospitality is/was their gift and extended it to me. I will never forget The Brittons! They were a loving older couple running the (back then in the late 90’s early 2000’s) New & Young Marrieds ministry. When I was pregnant with my son, she BLESSED me with the MOST beautiful baby shower! I’ll never forget that! So I’ve been a recipient of “others” gift of hospitality and I have felt so LOVED! And though I can’t give much, I “just-now” thought of something. I have a story. WE all have a story to share. And I’m SO grateful that my story was not in vain. Painful and scary, but not in vain. Happy Saturday sweeties! I am SO excited my sister Patty made it home safe from Florida! We will enjoy her for just over a week! My mom was SO surprised!
Mari… I don’t know if you’ll see this “late post”. I want to encourage you to keep sharing your story… God will certainly use it for His Glory, as you trust Him with it. Also, I don’t think it matters “how much we have”..,it is more important “How much do we allow God to use”! Believe me when I say that many times I have been blinded by the enemy’s lies, which rendered me useless, therefore missing God’s Blessing of being used by Him. Let’s move forward with Him, allowing Him to flow through us to meet the needs of others as He leads us! ♥️
I have been so blessed by all of your comments this week! I have reflected and remember times of hospitality offered in our home. Precious memories! I was reminded through study that in Bible times, travel was not safe and there were not many places to stay so it was very important that God’s people were open to sharing their space with travelers. We see that in some of our frontier stories, too. We no longer face many situations like that, but there are so many other ways to show hospitality and that has been covered well this week!

Sharing Wiersbe’s note on the passage in Romans 12. It reflects some of what we heard this week:
“Here the emphasis is on the attitudes of those who exercise the spiritual gifts. It is possible to use a spiritual gift in an unspiritual way.
Love is like the circulatory system of the spiritual body that enables all the members to function in a healthy, harmonious way.
This must be an honest love, not a hypocritical love (11:9), and it must be humble, not proud (11:10).
.
Have a blessed Saturday, sisters! ❤

Oops, my sign off sentence split the paragraphs I shared! Apologies… not sure how that happened.
Thank you Cee Gee. I love the Wie
Let me try this again. Thank you, Cee Gee. I love the Wiersbie commentary.
❤ you’re most welcome, Elizabeth! That sneaky comment gremlin got us both! ☺
Prayers for this community. I am grateful to She Reads Truth for providing tools for our Christian journey.
Good morning She’s! …just a comment on yesterdays devo – that hit home! Not that I have any known enemies, but there have been many that I have been hurt by in ministry over the years & have held resentment in my heart. This weeks devotionals have been so fitting as these past months I have been praying that God would help me to know the “height, the depth, the width, the length of His love. He is definitely working in my heart.
I have such respect & admiration in my heart for Tina & Laura & other of you ladies who have been betrayed in your marriage, yet have chosen to forgive – by the grace of God. Such a testimony of God’s amazing grace!! Thank you all who shared similar stories, I know God will use them to help others going through similar circumstances. To God be the glory!!
Have a blessed Saturday! ❤️

The podcast is a must listen with Kelly Minter! So good! Praying everyone has a rest-filled weekend. My daughter is home for the weekend with her roommate and my heart is full:) As they sat around our table last night, and more friends from home joined them, I realized this is one way my husband and I have “made room” for others. Ours is the hang out house:) No of them are Christian, not even our daughter, but I pray that they experience Christ through our love and welcoming of them.
Those are wonderful days! Our house was the ‘hang out’ house, too. ☺ I miss that but still practice hospitality where I can. Make great memories! ❤
Praying for you Tami and your daughter and her friends to see Jesus through yall!
Dear Tami
How fortunate they, you are!
Hanging out. No stress. No strain.
Wrapped in love. Felt. Seen. Heard.
The name of God written all over the place.
Just caught up on all the lessons from this week. Prayers for everyone really enjoying these studies
Thank you for the prayers dear sisters. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic, which according to the nurse is unusual at that practice because of the specialty. Both he and the nurse said it is rare to react to the titanium chip. I’m hopeful everything will clear up soon.
Praying that is the case and the med works quickly! Glad you caught it early. I was surprised to hear that because I had one inserted a few years ago and no mention was made of a possibility of infection/reaction. ❤
Yeah, they say rare, so never mentioned it to me. As a kid I was sensitive to earrings, so that’s why I wondered if that was the cause.
❤
Amen
What a week! Praying for a good weekend as we reflect over this week’s lessons and discoveries about the Lord and ourselves.

Praise report, sisters, for answered prayer in a gnarly work situation. I was praying as I dreaded yet another conversation/confrontation yesterday. After hitting a wall previously, I brought up the subject again and the immediate response was – we know you’re right, tell us the next step!!!! Only God, and I am so thankful!

Prayer is our most effective weapon, and thankfully we have an unlimited supply. Stay with us, sister, we know God is on the throne and in control. ❤️
Agreeing in prayer for the above.
Thankful for your good outcome at work SEARCHING, may things continue in the right direction.
Searching Thank you for your prayers! Definitely appreciating the prayers for forgiveness and wisdom to move forward. The prayers for moving forward really touches what is needed next as the family dynamics don’t only involve her!

Agreeing in prayer with you about the political climate in our country.
Thank you. We are praying for guidance. He has guided us to CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) and my husband is chaplain for the third year with them, but still searching for a church home.
Good morning sisters. I wish you all a weekend full of rest, refreshment and peace. And if I may ask, throughout the week we discuss so many topics, that I sometimes miss some of the comments, so please, if you have any prayers requests, can you add them to this post as a reply? Would love to pray for all of your needs.
I’m asking prayer for sciatic pain and lack of sleep.
Amen
I haven’t really joined in this new study yet; it is a repeat of one I did a few years ago, and it started on the day of my brother-in law’s funeral. So I am going to spend the next couple of weeks hanging out in the last few chapters of Isaiah reading about the Suffering Servant before the Advent Series starts. But I wanted to pop in and ask for your continued prayers. Having to travel when I am not recovered from surgery has been completely exhausting and overwhelming; I’m not sure I have ever been this tired before in my life. My son’s caregiver has been out a lot, although she did stay with him while I traveled to the funeral. But I have zero executive function. I can’t prepare food for myself or make sure basic chores are done. Some days I can’t even get a shower. And the weight of grief is sapping all of be my hope and my reason to go on. It’s even hard to reach out and ask for help. So I am asking you SHEs to ask the Father for help on my behalf, and to give me the strength and direction to figure out the next step in front of me. Blessings to all of you!
Dear Margaret, you have been on my mind this past week. I have struggled a bit with this study so am mainly spending time in prayer. Isaiah is my favourite prophet and God has given me so many words from that book. So Father I pray that you would speak words of comfort and promise to Margaret through her readings of Isaiah. Please comfort her in her grief, strengthen her, give her sleep that renews and refreshes her and brings healing to her body. Father, I ask too that you would bring her support and respite in the care of her son. Father your love is unfathomable, you are the God of all comfort, all power, all strength – may you envelope Margaret in your arms of goodness today and in the coming weeks. Amen
Dearest Margaret, echoing VICKI M s every word..
Continued prayers, Margaret, wrapped in healing love and gentle hugs..
He is near.. lean on Him..
Blessings right back to you, dear heart..❤️
Margaret I’m praying that you would experience others “making room” for you during this time. That you would get the help and support you need. I don’t know your church situation, but is there a care ministry you can reach out to? I am on our care team at church and we have lots of people wanting to help, sometimes not enough people to care for:)
MARGARET – joining Vicki M in prayer for you, praying the healing process will continue and get you to 100% soon, for good rest and increased energy, for much needed help with caring for yourself and for your son, for his caregiver – that she is able to be consistent in her time with your son. Lord, I pray for Your comfort for Margaret in her grief, that she would feel Your love for her, that she would be encouraged to take another step when it feels too hard, too painful. Thank you, Lord.

Are home health services an option for help with your ADL’s? My aunt was able to get home health services during a slow recovery as part of her insurance coverage – requested by her primary dr when she found out her needs.
Praying for healing
Praying for you Mary today ❤️
Praying along with our sister She’s for you ❤️
I’m praying for you, Margaret.
Lord, I bring our sister Margaret to you. I agree with other’s prayers for her and her family. Please make a way where there seems to be no way. Encourage, strengthen her, give her hope and peace and bring others alongside to help her. Thank you, Father, we love you Jesus ❤️
Precious MARGARET, please rest while we intercede on your behalf. You are loved more than you can imagine. Rest in the One who shed His blood for you. ❤️
I echo this prayer. YES, let us pray on Margaret’s behalf. JESUS has you Margaret!

Our hospital also has a home help situation covered by our insurance. I pray for clarity and strength for you to make the call to see if that is an option. Searching is right on the money mentioning that!
