I believed as 17 year-old back then. I believe now as a “closer-to-sixty” as I don’t like admitting (haha). BUT GOD….My Jesus is SO good! Even when its rough, or my prayers are not answered as I would like them, BUT GOD, my daddy knows best! Happy Saturday sweeties! I’m looking forward to sleeping-in on Monday! Looking forward to time with my kids!

  6. Traci Gendron says:

I had a week without internet. I did the study on my phone, but found commenting difficult. Yesterday we traveled back home.
I had typed out a message to you TINA, but I don’t think it posted. I wanted to tell you that I have been thinking of you and praying. I know how hard of a time this is.

    1. Cee Gee says:

You have been on my heart, TRACI! Glad you are back with us! ❤

      1. Rhonda J. says:

Yes, mine too. I wondered where you had gone.

  7. Cheryl Blow says:

Our faith and hope is in God! In Christ alone. I keep thinking of the song by Hillsong, “Cornerstone.”

What a sweet reminder today on our “Grace Day” of His Grace!

Praying for all! Love reading all your comments! Praying for you!

  8. Cee Gee says:

    Through GRACE alone,
    BY FAITH alone,
    in Christ alone –
one of my pastor’s favorite reminders.
    .
Sisters, y’all blow me away each day with your insights and gifts of sharing!
What a blessing! Have a wonderful Saturday!
    .
“I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice to worship You; oh my soul, rejoice. Take joy, my King, in what You hear. May it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.”
A favorite chorus to my Lord and Savior!

    1. searching says:

CEE GEE, sister! I can’t sing even a single note on key – but when home alone or driving solo, this is one of my go-to choruses :)

      1. Cee Gee says:

Oh, that makes my heart sing, SEARCHING, sweet sister – Big smiley face here! I just bet you are in perfect pitch, too! ❤ Love you!

  9. Wendy B says:

Thank you Lord that all our hope and faith remains in you. We praise you for your faithfulness. That when all else seems uncertain, unknown and hard we can look to you. That though on my own, I am lost and undeserving it is by your grace and mercy and great gift of your Son that true hope is ours. Thank you that in the broken down, wayword world, we can raise hands up to you, know your firm grip and be steadfastly planted on a firm foundation and that you will not fail. As we move into this day, I pray our eyes would be fixed on you, our hearts beating with yours and our faith encouraged to press on. Bless this communtiy of women that long to know you, seek your face, honor you, need you and desire to live for you. We love you Jesus Amen

GM. Praying that today we all stay anchored in the Lord of all. Miracle worker, way maker, promise keeper, light in the darkness. These lyrics sum it up for me. Cornerstone by Hillsong.

    Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong in the Saviour’s love
Through the storm, He is Lord, Lord of all
When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
My anchor holds within the veil

    1. Rhonda J. says:

OH thank you..that was the song I was trying to remember!

    2. Cee Gee says:

One of my favorite songs at church! ❤

  11. Kimberly Reed says:

    Amen ♥️

  12. Rhonda J. says:

I am SO thankful and grateful that I can put my faith and hope in something greater than me and other humans. He reigns above it all. ABOVE it ALL! There is nothing bigger, greater, more powerful, more in control. So even when it doesn’t look bright, or right in our eyes, we CAN know, He is still on the throne. Satan rules the earth now, his day is coming to an end, the Lord’s remnant is small, but we are a part of it. We will have troubles and tribulation, but thank God He gives hope through it all.

Lots of love to ya’ll, in prayer with all.

    1. Cee Gee says:

Thanks, Tami! We sing that song at church. ❤Your comment reminded me of one of my favorite songs – Reign Above it All, favorite version is by Worship Initiative. Partial lyrics:
      You reign above it all
      You reign above it all
      Over the universe
      And over every heart
      There is no higher name
Jesus, You reign above it all
Let all of heaven and the earth erupt in song
Sing Hallelujah to the Everlasting One
      There is no higher name
Jesus, You reign above it all
Yes, You reign above it all

      1. Cee Gee says:

Rhonda, the second part of my reply was for you! I accidentally posted y reply to Tami under your comment, too. Not sure what happened there! ❤

        1. Rhonda J. says:

Yes…love that song!! I basically love MOST ALL praise and worship music!

    2. Cheryl Read says:

Praise God he is on his throne, he is with us in the good times and he’s with us in the valleys. Thank you Lord!

    3. Mercy says:

Truth in the last days things are dark even in the church❤️ Hold on tight that we don’t grow weary, for in due time, the One who is to come, will come.

  13. Lanie H says:

Hey y’all, c section is scheduled for Wednesday. I had a hard time yesterday, sort of grieving my plans because I was hoping to do a natural birth, mostly to avoid the catheter and epidural, two of which I now have no choice but to accept. I have been hit with Romans 8:28 3x in the past week, so time to pay attention! In my devotional Oswald chambers wrote: “all your circumstances are in the hand of God, and therefore you don’t ever have to think they are unnatural or unique.” I know he is working this out for my good. Pray that my joy may not be tainted by the circumstances, and hopefully we will all be healthy, and I will be able to breast feed so I can have a semi “natural” experience post birth.

    1. Rhonda J. says:

Oh Lanie, I love how God shows you not to worry and to give it to him!! I am so excited for you and this little one!! I remember when we prayed for a hard pregnancy a few years back, it was amazing how we felt like he was/still is our little godson @ Victoria E. I hope you will share a picture of the little sweet one on FB She’s! I will be praying Wednesday that all goes to God’s perfect plan!!

      1. Victoria E says:

Rhonda J I will! @Lanie, my son was breech and was c section, it was completely fine. The important thing is that you are both safe during the delivery ! I am praying !

        1. Lanie H says:

What a sweet circle of events. Glad to know I am in good company! Would love to see a picture and I will share one when the time comes as well!

    2. Emily B. says:

It’s totally okay to grieve that what you envisioned for this birth isn’t going to happen. I know for me, I liked having at least a semblance of a plan for when I had my babies, but without fail my plans always got thrown out the window. God was reminding me that He’s in control, and I need to trust Him more than a plan. I promise that once you get to hold your daughter, the grief over things not going like you expected will pale in comparison to the joy of seeing her face.

    3. Brenda says:

Hi Lanie, I had an emergency C section with my second child and I was still able to nurse. I was on iron for the blood loss so the milk wasn’t a lot and I had to supplement with formula. But my daughter is 13 now and super healthy and we have a great bond none the less. My prayers are with you!

    4. Tami says:

I’m echoing the prayers of others here! Having a daughter is such a blessing! No matter how she comes:)

    5. Lynne from Alabama says:

Lanie, praying that all goes perfectly according to God’s perfect plan! I know you are super excited! ❤️

    6. Wendy B says:

Will be praying that all goes well. That your heart will be encouraged and at peace as you anticipate and prepare for the birth of your sweet babe. ❤️

    7. Cee Gee says:

Echoing our sisters prayers for perfect peace and perfect delivery as you trust our Father. Thank you for sharing how God has sent you comfort through His word! One of my grandchildren was born by c-section and was nursed successfully. Just relax when you get there and let nature take its course. Love you, Lanie and remember I am just down the road if you need me!!

    8. Donna Wolcott says:

Lanie, I know you are disappointed but the important thing is a safe delivery and a healthy baby..❤️ I ended up having a C-section with my twins after a 25 hr labor (I was ready lol). I was able to nurse them later that day after the spinal wore off. Prayers for you and your little one.

    9. Barb D says:

Lanie, I hope you are strengthened and comforted by all of the prayers being lifted for you, including mine. I pray for a safe and flawless delivery and the health of your baby. May your disappointment soon be overwhelmed with joy and your faith be strengthened by seeing how God was with you through it all.

    10. searching says:

LANIE – Praying that the c-section goes smoothly, that baby girl is healthy and that your recovery is speedy! :)

    11. Mercy says:

      Praying dear Lanie.

…My Faith and hope are in God. (Alone) – The God who raised Jesus from the dead, the God who accepts me through the blood of Christ – in spite of my sin, in spite of myself.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness,
    I dare not trust the sweetest frame
    But wholly lean on Jesus name!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
