Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
For our hearts rejoice in him
because we trust in his holy name.
May your faithful love rest on us, LORD,
for we put our hope in you.
—Psalm 33:21–22

Praying for you all
May you be showered with blessings this day, like the leaves that are falling from the trees in my yard!
Right back atcha Donna Wolcott!❤️
Ditto, Donna! ❤
Happy Saturday, sisters! I’ve been thinking a lot about this study on FAITH and cherishing how it has brought me to this beautiful, challenging idea of ‘eucharisteo’— finding gratitude right in the middle of life’s storms. It’s not about pretending things are easy, but more about looking for those moments of grace, no matter how small, and holding onto them. It has helped shift my perspective, helping me to find joy even when it feels like everything is falling apart. I’m learning that giving thanks, especially in the hard moments, is where real peace begins. I am praying today that peace follows you everywhere you and in the life storms we are dealing with. Hugs.
Maria, you are one special lady.. prayerful over you and yours.
God bless you!1❤️
♥️ Your post blesses my ♥️, Dear Maria!! This is truly what walking with Jesus is all about!! Praying for you and your family as you take one step at a time on this difficult journey! I will be sharing your comment with a dear friend who’s husband has dementia with anxiety and depression… and they are in its midst of moving from a large home to a smaller apartment in a retirement village where she will have more help available… very different journeys… Same Truth applies!! That’s our Savior!! ♥️
Yes, Carol! So good, all different paths, same truth!!
Maria, you are certainly a blessing for you post in the midst of this trial you are in!! Thanks for blessing us!!
Agreeing with our sisters hete, Maria! ❤ continued prayers!
Continuing to pray for you Maria. Bless you.
❤️❤️❤️
Caught up from yesterday! My retirement years are busier than when I worked! But God is using these busy times to grow my trust in Him! My son-in-law when asked how he handles all his responsibilities said I ask God to increase my capacity for the work He has given me!
All this week the Lord is just telling me to trust Him every day and wherever He leads!
My heart is rejoicing – I trust in His holy name, my hope is in the Lord!
He alone is my hope.
~~~~~~~~~
Psalm 71:5-8
I wish I had trusted Him from my youth. I started out that way, but drifted as I got older, until I reached 21. So many wasted years!
But praise God – He has upheld me, and kept me, He is so faithful!
May my mouth be filled with His praise and His glory all the day long!
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Saturday sweet she’s – have a blessed day, as Tina would say – wrapped in love!
Sharon, He alone is our hope.. Amen❤️
These daily readings have helped me soooooo much!
Steve and I are really struggling…The economy is about to destroy us financially. Our dental lab is not bringing in enough business to pay the bills or our debt which resulted from the IRS taking back tax credits from several years of returns. (Our current administration will cause us to go bankrupt is things do not change.)
And we just found out yesterday that because of a bill passed by congress in 2021, our tax liability for 2023 taxes is astronomical. And sadly, we are being taxed on unrealized income (which is income that doesn’t show up in your bank account, but shows up on paper!!!)
Therefore, there is no money in the bank account to pay the taxes. And they told us that if we have to make payments, the IRS puts a lien on our property! Which is public record and destroys our credit!
We are both in shock!
We are trying to have faith that God can fix this!
And last night I was reading in another study about the miracles Jesus performed. Specifically, feeding the 5000+ and 4000+ people. Which is in itself a miracle that the disciples couldn’t wrap their heads around. Can you imagine feeding that many people with only a few loaves of bread and a couple of fish?
So it was a reminder to me…
What seems so impossible to Steve and me, is not impossible to God!
I just need to keep my focus on God and not on this seemingly impossible situation!!
Focus on the God of miracles!!!
Gramiesue that is a lot to contend with! Do not lose heart. God was faithful to see us through similar circumstances and He will bring you through this as well. I am praying for you and your husband.
Psalm 70
1 Hasten, O God, to save me;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.
2 May those who want to take my life
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.
3 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”
turn back because of their shame.
4 But may all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
“The Lord is great!”
5 But as for me, I am poor and needy;
come quickly to me, O God.
You are my help and my deliverer;
Lord, do not delay.
Amen!!
Gramsiesue, whilst you walk with God, whilst you lean on Him through these trials, He is with you, never leaving, never forsaking. Throughout the whole Bible from day one, providing light in darkness, God has been a God of good. Providing clothes for Adam and Eve, when they were naked. He promised Abram descendants, and did just thst. He still moved with the rebellious Israelites in their story. He still used David and gave his son Solomon wisdom. I could go through the Good book.. all I am saying here is.. He is the same then as He is today. Nothing in His character has changed..He is with Steve and yourself, keep holding fast to Him. He is the God of the impossible. And He will bring you through this..
There is a reason why we are doing the faith chapter at this time, dearest Sue, Yes, as you said yesterday… Even Sue.. He hears, sees and knows your trials.. Amen.
Much love covered in prayers Sue.❤️
Awesome.
Sue, I am so sorry for this turn of events, BUT I look forward to the testimony that will come at the end of this season! We will be holding you up, too! ❤
Amen, great encouragement Maria and Tina! I am so sorry Sue, and pray you keep trusting in the God that makes a way when there seems to be no way! I am praising him now for seeing you and Steve through!
Gramiesue, my heart goes out to you. I have known financial anxiety. Praying that our way maker God will make a way out for you and Steve. He is with you.
Hold tight to these stories of miracles by Jesus… waiting to hear yours… ❤️ He will not leave you or forsake you, sis. ❤️
Dear Sue, you certainly have a lot on your plate! I am so sorry! I am praying for you and Steve every day. May God guide you and give you peace! I love this scripture when I am under attack:
Psalm 94:16-19
New International Version
16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked?
Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
17 Unless the Lord had given me help,
I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
18 When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
19 When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.
Love you, sweet friend! ❤️
Wow!! I got up earlier then normal on a Saturday when I normally sleep-in till at least 7am. Happy Saturday sweet ladies. YEP….my heart rejoices in the Lord because I trust HIM, even when its hard. HE remains faithful, all-the-time! Forever! My hope is on my JESUS and ONLY my Jesus because He never fails and nor will He ever! We can trust HIM even when we don’t know the timing and I remind myself HIS timing is BEST. Thank you Cee Gee and Tina for your responses yesterday. After a LONG day and night and before bed I went back to read responses. And yes sweet Tina my son is a barista (for the present moment) at a local coffee shop. He loves his job while still trying to figure out what to do with his degree. Prayers are appreciated! It was SO much fun watching all the local baristas compete their artistic Latte Art! “Coffee” is something that my kiddos and I love and hang out together almost every Saturday at local shops.
After my long walk with my sweet friend Soma, I will go with my daughter (as I saw a late text from her when I woke up) so she can work on homework and me…?? I’ll work on some prep work for the teacher. When my daughter doesn’t have homework, she and I sit and talk the entire time! Oh the little things in life that God gives me to enjoy! Hope this doesn’t sound selfish, please pray as I really want to get-away for a couple of days to the beach. As I mentioned this summer I couldn’t afford it, but did manage a day trip! And yep, those beach trips do involve “coffee” Also some $$ is owed to me that hasn’t happened yet and been waiting for a long time. HIS timing is best and my tax guy and I have sent several letters. We shall see.
❤️
Hugs, Mari! Praying that debt is settled soon! I so enjoy coffee with my14 year old grandson- just us time- so I understand! ❤!
Oh, I used to take my son when he was a toddler to the town coffee shop for him a cookie and me a latte. It was an afternoon break to get out of the house, and give me a kick for the rest of the evening. As the years went on it still was our routine, and we would play chess there! People were so amazed a 6 year old could master chess! When the grandchildren came, I would take them individually to that same coffee shop, then a few towns away! Something about little coffee shops are so great for memories!
❤
Faithful love!
❤️
Thank you God for your constant love and the beautiful rest that can be found only in you!
Just heard this version on the radio yesterday and could hardly wait to share it!
Every Hour (Acoustic)
(feat. Josh Baldwin)
David Leonard
Lord, You know me and You always will
Oh You keep me, yeah You hold me close
Like new mercies in the morning still
You surround me, and all I know is
Every hour of every day
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change
Every moment in every way
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change
No that will never change
You’re a fortress, You’re my hiding place
You’re the shelter where I am safe
You have freed me, yeah, You have called me by name
My Redeemer, my saving grace
And every hour of every day
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change
Every moment in every way
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change
Oh
Faithful, that’s who You are
More than able to care for my heart
Father and friend, there till the end
You are faithful, oh God
Every hour of every day
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change
And every moment in every way
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change
Oh that will never change
No, that will never change
‘Cause faithful, that’s who You are
More than able to care for my heart
Father and friend, there till the end
You are faithful, oh God
Yes You are faithful, oh God
Mm-mm-mm

Have a blessed weekend, sisters! Love, hugs, and prayers! ❤

Going to look it up.
❤️And every hour of every day
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change
Every moment in every way
Oh I need You, Lord, and that will never change..
That will never change..
AMEN.
I am looking it up… Thank you Cee-Gee..❤️
❤ to each of you! Praying it blesses your hearts!
Amen
I got stuck at Abraham (moving is big for me and associated with huge loss) and I fell behind with all the comments. Catching up, and I’m so grateful for all your helpful faith-filled, heart-felt insights.
Thank you CeeGee for your summary yesterday. So helpful in my reflections. I wrote it down!
And Rhonda J earlier in the week “when we are in the word and walking with Jesus, we are being sanctified..growing in our knowledge. Don’t ever be too stubborn to grow and change your beliefs to be on the right side, God’s side.” Big YES to the power of the word. No other book can speak to us so personally as the Bible and effect such change. So many scales dropped from my eyes!
And then the wonderful verse today.
Thank you Father that you have given me security and stability by enabling us to stay in this house for 28 years. You knew what I needed first and foremost to be able to grow my faith in you; to learn to trust you and really accept your transforming love for me, to grow in intimacy with you, to increase my knowledge of you through your word, to grow me in wisdom and perseverance. You have blessed me, Father, immeasurably more than I ever imagined. And while I know you have more work to do in me I am thankful that I’m not where I was. Amen
You are welcome, VICKI M! So glad it helped you! Love you! ❤
Amen! ❤️
Vicky, I love that comment about ‘not being where I was..’ so true, that as we step out in faith and with the Lord, we grow in His love.. and thst my dear sister, is God ordained.. Amen..
Praying He continues to bless you.❤️
heart!
His faithful love, in which we rejoice, we trust and we hope – hallelujah and amen.

MICHELLE P, KIMBERLY Z, SARAH D, TAYLOR – ❤️praying, little sisters, in your waiting. I have a dear family member waiting as y’all are, and many years I waited as well. Praying each of you will draw closer to the Lord in the waiting and not rush ahead of Him – I rushed and what a mess I made of things.

CARLA – glad the allergy test went well
MARI G – praying for your daughter as she waits on college admission. It’s been many years since I was in college and the admission process wasn’t such a big thing then. I don’t know how it works now but I started in a community college to save on tuition and then transferred easily afterwards.

GM!I can finally get through the comments! lol. Only 2 this morning
!In a world where everyone can have their own truth, and live in a way they think is justifiable, I’m glad I can TRUST in HIS Holy name, and in addition be JOYFUL in that truth! He is our compass, when the world has gone off the edge! I remember when I thought everyone should be happy, no matter that lifestyle, but truth is they aren’t happy, they are usually quite miserable and confused because they don’t have the truth and live by it. Then when I compromise truth for others, it compromises my relationship with God. His plans are better than our plans, it is WRITTEN. It is not suggested, it is not opinions. It is power. It is goodness, and perfect, and right. Romans 12:2- Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That by testing you will discern what is the will of God; what is good, and acceptable and perfect. His plans are better than our plans. When you are older (like me), you can clearly look back and see how your wayward ways were big mistakes and led to disaster! I was once one way, and now I am another, and His name is Jesus! He came into my heart and became my Savior, but it took a long while for me to turn my life over to him. Now He is the Lord of my life, my compass, my hope for a future, and eternal life. We should have a kingdom mindset here in the now, I know it is hard and challenging, but He is with you.
This next two weeks is the perfect time to stand on truth, and even make one of the biggest decisions of our time that will affect all things of God’s truth. Don’t be afraid to stand and shine the light of truth and love. I believe we have 1 chance to hold on to what little we have left. Do not let the word “politics” hold you back, it is laws be enacted or taken away,that are moral and Godly, and we can’t be idle and of indecision.
Have a good weekend She’s!
Praying for eyes and hearts to open in the next 10 days (and after).
All his promises are yes and amen. ❤️
“He is Lord of my life, my compass, my hope for the future”. Amen ❤️
Amen! HE is our ONLY HOPE and our FUTURE! Let the faithful RISE UP and be counted with God. I want God to KNOW I am on His side – always! Thanks, Rhonda, for your faithful shares! ❤.
Preach it, my dear Rhonda!
..
I love this…’Now He is the Lord of my life, my compass, my hope for a future, and eternal life’
We are not perfect…
BUT GOD..Is
.
And He completes us through His constant love for us..
Happy weekend, covered in much love to you and yours❤️
This Psalm begins..
.
All you that are righteous, shout for joy for what the Lord has done; praise him, all you that obey him. Give thanks to the Lord with harps, sing to him with stringed instruments..
.
And ends with..
.
May your constant love be with us, Lord, as we put our hope in you.
.
I don’t have a harp, or a stringed instrument, but by golly I have a voice..
I can speak of His great love, and I can tell of the wondrous things He has done.. I can even sing off key and frighten the dog..
.
BUT GOD..
I WILL give THANKS and PRAISE to my Father God, who sustains me, who feeds my soul, both physically and spiritually. The One who is so constant in my life I can feel His LOVE and GRACE at my every turn.
I am so very thankful for the HOPE I have, built on nothing else, but His constant love, Thank you, Lord God…
Thank you.❤️
.
Happy Saturday my dears! Be blessed, whatever your weekend looks like. ❤️
Beautiful! Just like you!
Thanks, Dear Tima! I really love your heart… God Shines through your life as you “pour it out” for us to see how He works in your “Clay Pot”, bringing Joy in sorrow, Peace in fearful times, Strength in weakness… etc!
(Oh, yes… CONSISTENCY in the Daily!)
Keep writing, Dear Friend… God is enclosed this group through your sharing! (I still think there’s a book in there!!) ♥️
Oh my! TINA… God has encouraged this group… makes more sense! ♥️
Thank you for sharing and for your precious words of love and wisdom, dear Tina! You are always such a bright light and encouragement! ❤️
Dear Tina, thank you for your beautiful words! Your faith and love for our Lord is so strong and encouraging! He has blessed this faithful community of sisters by your example of your devotion! Peace be with you and all the Shes. ❤️
Oh yes to the thanks and praise! Amen ❤️
Amen, Tina! No harp or strings here either – just Ukulele, keyboard, and trombone! You do NOT want to hear me on those! Lol Like you, I still have a voice though it is a little creaky sometimes! What’s that phrase? He tunes His ear to ear…so maybe we DO sound beautiful to Him! I know you make Him smile with your daily heart shares and I know He sees how much you are blessing others – both here and in your daily ministry in your community. Love and hugs from South Carolina, sister!Hope your weekend is GREAT! ❤
Thank you Tina, for your beautiful contribution! Have a wonderful Saturday! ❤️
Oh, Tina.
My voice is pretty scary too! I only sing in the car, alone, with windows rolled up!! But I can belt it out in praise and worship of the One true God who sees, hears, and loves me. In all my crazy.
Thanks so much for sharing! You just don’t know how much it means to me and everyone else here!
Hugs across the pond, sweet sister! ❤️
❤️
Rejoicing with you Tina!
Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace, wisdom and love, forgiveness and acceptance. We love you! ❤️
Amen ❤️
