I’m so thankful for the forgiveness we have in Christ. He has definitely rescued me from darkness. Amazing to be transferred into the kingdom!!!

We were in San Diego for a couple days. I brought my study book, but didn’t always comment.

  6. Mari V says:

“Transferred” LOVE this word used in this version! My bible says: “brought”. Somehow “transferred” like from one college to another (word picture) paints this much better for this mind of mine to “see” it in a better light! “Thank you Father God for your forgiveness and allowing us (YOU wanting us) to transfer from this sinful life into ETERNITY with you.” Happy Saturday sweeties!!! Great first week to work, preparing for our sweet TK ers!!! I’m so excited! I know there will be lots of tears on Monday (children and parents), which is SO sweet! Praying parents will know their precious little ones will be safe.

  7. Cee Gee says:

Sisters, I apologize that my comment somehow got moved from the original comment box and showed up as a reply to Linda in NC! Still learning in this forma, but so very thankful for the reply option!

    1. Mercy says:

  8. Cheryl Blow says:

Praying for all the requests. I will join the fast on Monday.

As always, scripture humbles me and makes me want to be better and do more. So grateful for His grace and mercy! So thankful that I have been transferred from the domain of darkness to Jesus’ kingdom. Not because of anything I have done but because in Him I have redemption and forgiveness of sin! His love for us!

  9. Sharon, Jersey Girl says:

What great promise in this scripture! It is so humbling to be reminded – that God chose me. Not only did He choose me, He rescued me from the dominion of darkness!! I shudder to think of what would be my eternity, had I not heeded His call and received Christ as my Lord and Savior. But God – I did! and now to have redemption in Christ, the forgiveness of sins – every single one, past-present-and future! To God be the glory, thank you Jesus!

    _________
My heart feels sick to think of those who have not received Christ – many of my family members and other people I know and love, those who still remain in the domain of darkness. My prayer for the lost is that God will open their eyes and that they will turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God…”(Acts 26:18) and that they will do it before it’s to late.

    Happy Saturday dear She’s!

RHONDA- I had a dream that you came to visit me:) I don’t remember the conversation, only that you had plans to visit another SHE afterwards. I can see you doing this and know if you could, you would make plans for many visits! I just want to tell you that I appreciate all of your comments, prayers, stories, and encouragement. Your love for Jesus and others is palpable. You make me want to be a better witness for Christ. Thank you! And I also think of others here who regularly post – Sharon, Searching, Erb, Kelly, Tina, Gwyneth, Mercy, Cee Gee, Gramiesue, Traci G, Mari, Kris, and this just off the top of my head. There are others for sure and forgive me if I missed your name! Thanks to all of you for your witness! I have learned and grown from all of you and often take notes on your comments! You all inspire me, teach me, and encourage me in my journey daily! Thank you. Xo

    1. Sharon, Jersey Girl says:

Tami, I feel the same way! There is so much we can learn from each other as we share thoughts and comments. Iron sharpens iron! And how we can be a part of each others lives through prayer – to God be the glory!

    2. Cheryl Read says:

      Amen!

    3. Soma D says:

I feel the same way. Thankful for this group and the fellowship and prayers.

    4. Cee Gee says:

Tami, what a cool dream!!! Thanks for sharing that and thank you for the sweet words of encouragement! I have grown so much since I came here! I, too, am thankful for the wisdom, encouragement, and genuine Agape love exhibited here! ❤

    5. Rhonda J. says:

Oh My Gosh…the devil was just feeding my thoughts this morning…”Why do you post soooo much, people probably cringe at your comments!” “and you’re always posting about what you do..blah blah…”
But God—thank you Tami for saying that! It really was a God send just when I needed to hear that! God uses His children to be encouragement to each other!! And YES—I would love to come see you!! I really believe that SRT will have a conference one day that many of us will be able to attend. Or like Michelle P said, ya’ll are all coming to Florida and camping out in my small little house!! lol At least we have FB where we can be a little more personal with each other and develop relationships! If anyone wants to be my fb friend, please request…would love that!
Also, another note on commenting here–I did not comment for the first couple of years, but I valued Tina’s, Churchmouse, Kathy, First Angie and Second Angie, Jenniferlovesjesus and DORTHY..and not always just for Wisdom on the daily reading..but sharing bits and pieces of struggles, prayer requests, hard situations they conquered. It has become a sisterhood invaluable for my growth! Even Mary Ann Graves simple Amen everyday lets me see her commitment to SRT!

      1. Kim Buttonberry says:

Rhonda, I want to add my thanks to the others for your presence here, your love for Jesus, and the way your comments minister to us all. I sure understand that lying little voice in your head that tells you to pull back and be quiet….
We’re so glad that you don’t listen to it!! Blessings to you!

        1. Rhonda J. says:

Yes, for sure Kim, He loves to keep us down!! I have always remembered your last name! It’s such a great name!
Let’s be women of courage…Strong and Courageous!

          1. Cee Gee says:

      2. Tami says:

God heard you! Wow that’s amazing! I love when He responds so quickly!

      3. Mercy says:

I heard this lying voice too EVERY single time I was gonna post something, that no one is gonna care what I have to share and don’t be a show off. It’s horrible. I’m glad you speak out you have this whispering of lies too. We silence this demonic voice trying to muzzle us in Jesus’ Name.

    6. Mari V says:

Aw………Tami. Your’re SO sweet!!!!! And wouldn’t it be an amazing dream to wake up and Rhonda was there visiting any of us?

  13. Linda in NC says:

    Thank you❤

    1. Cee Gee says:

MERCY, what a powerfully convicting, challenging, and encouraging post yesterday!!! I do know exactly when that ‘disorder’ developed in me, but am happy to say that I wasn’t a victim for long before God showed me a better way! I so appreciate the prayer you wrote in closing:
“May the mind of Christ be with us to discern, and the heart of God be with us to know how to word what we need to speak.” Amen!!!
      ~
TINA, thank you for this morning’s prayer:
“Lord God, fill me with the knowledge of your will through spiritual wisdom and understanding. Lord may I live a life worthy of You, and Lord God, may I please YOU in everything I do bearing fruit in my work for You, and Lord, may I grow in the knowledge of You. Strengthen me, lord God, that I may have endurance and patience. Oh may I joyfully give thanks to you, my Heavenly Father… always.” Amen!
Such beautiful Scripture and prayers to begin our weekend.

Whew with all power and services restored to my home, I spent about 90 minutes “catching up” on the comments for the week. Thanks to all of you for sharing your hearts. May our discussions and points of view always be filled with God’s mercy, grace and love. May God be glorified as we all work out our sanctification.
    .
Requesting continued prayers for my area as still thousands without power. Prayer for safty for utility crews and business who have had to toss perishable inventory. Prayer for mi istries, like a few shelters, that cannot help the people they serve as there is no power. Also learned that some post offices are just holding mail beacuse machines that sort are down (hoping my company’s customers will understand shipping delays). Anyway many ripple effects that we just take for granted when all is running as it should.

Thank you also for putting the prayer requests together in your post.

  15. Rhonda J. says:

    GM!

Praying you all have a beautiful Saturday!

We will have a “community” FAST THIS Monday for those that wish to participate for our dear sister Gayle as she keeps fighting her stage 4 cancer. Make the fast how you choose, and in that sacrifice spend time lifting Gayle up in prayer.
Join on the FB SHE page to share your prayers and scripture for encouragement there.

Keep sharing TRUTH dear sisters even when it rubs wrong. All sin entraps us from true freedom in Christ. He died for us, in return we should want to honor Him with all we have. We will be hated by the world, as He was. We will love them anyway.

    1. Margaret W says:

Can someone post a link to the Facebook SHE page? I have trouble finding these groups.

Lord, guide us to walk in Your ways. Praying for continued healing of your eyes.

AG – praying for you today, and the beginning of your marriage.

  17. Tina says:

Just reading these verses has me teary!
    .
Whenever I read of what Jesus has done for me, I get emotional. I know the truth in every word and sentence, when I hear or read of these things. I have known dark places, and I have seen the light of Gods hand. I have known and seen redemption, by the grace of God, in my life, too many times not to feel, as I read these verses.
Lord God, fill me with the knowledge of your will through spiritual wisdom and understanding. Lord may I live a life worthy of You, and Lord God, may I please YOU in everything I do bearing fruit in my work for You, and Lord, may I grow in the knowledge of You. Strengthen me, lord God, that I may have endurance and patience. Oh may I joyfully give thanks to you, my Heavenly Father… always.

    AMEN.
    Happy Saturday dear hearts..
    Much love,
    Tina ♥️

    1. Searching says:

TINA ❤️ same – I was blinking back the tears as I finished reading the verse and clicked to your comment. The enormity of God’s love and Christ’s sacrifice overwhelms my heart. So thankful.
