Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
The LORD had done great things for us; we were joyful.

Good morning she’s, praise the Lord for our gathering. Wow so many comments and I need to come back to read. May I ask for your prayers about my work, there has been some issues that, I almost want to quit :( i am under stress, and felt a bit “bullied”. I just don’t know what to do but pray. I need to take more deep breaths lol and focus on the good. I pray I would have better days next week to have hope in this company to still go on with it. Be blessed dear sisters.
Praying for you and this situation
❤️ thank you Kelly.
Mercy, my dearest, praying with you and hopeful with you that next week will be a better and peace filled at work.. You are a Child of the Most High God and He will not let you down..
Remember, the scrapes He has brought you through thus far.. THIS is no different.. you will one day soon be singing a song of hope whilst carrying armloads of blessings
Hugs my She sister..❤️
Amen to Tina’s post, Mercy! I pray you are able to envision a victory and get through this stressful time. ❤️ I pray you remain humble and patient with those who bully you, knowing when to advocate for yourself and when to keep silent. I pray the Lord is your shield and your strength, your great reward. ❤️
Amen

I was reminded this week that I should not feel sad or disappointed if things around me/in my home are not joyful. I have joy in me and that joy is not here today, gone tomorrow. It is an ETERNAL JOY! Of course, I can always look for and be thankful for other sources of joy – family, friends, pets, flowers, birds…, but I need to tap into the eternal Source of JOY more often and let it bleed over to others. I am challenged once again too claim – as the sing says – “Ain’t nothin’ gonna steal my joy!”
Thankful God sent that reminder!
Ain’t nothing gonna steal our joy.. Cee GEE. Nothing! We have the joy of the Lord in us..AMEN.

Psalms 16:7-9 NLT
[7] I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. [8] I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. [9] No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety.
Verse that went with my devotional today about having a joyful heart I thought this was great Joy is the result of God’s presence within us.
I know I’ve mentioned I NEVER want to forget what what MY GOD, OUR GOD has done for me. Yes me! I stand here today ONLY because of what MY JESUS has done for me. My heart fills with JOY every time I remember of where I’ve been and where I am today! Its ALL Jesus! Hard times come but then I recall all he has done for me and keep in mind HE will do it again! I trust HIM! Good morning sweet She’s and happy Saturday! Thank you ALL for praying for me!
Yes Amen!!! What would we do without My Jesus!!? Let me tell everyone of what he does!!
What would we do without Jesus.. Amen. Mari V. AMEN.
Hugs..❤️
Such wonderful comments this morning. Thank you Tina and everyone for you wonderful responses. God is good, all the time. I too have a prayer journal and “need to remember” Bible verses. I read back through it quite often and am always amazed at the many prayers God has answered. Sometimes when I think God is not hearing me because I pray daily for the same things, I am reminded God’s time isn’t always our time but it’s always “ON TIME”! Two of my favorite songs is Goodness of God by many good artists but I think the version by CeCe Winans is my favorite. The other song is Evidence by Josh Baldwin. When I look back through my journal and over my life, I can truly see the evidence of God’s goodness all over my life. Praying for all of the requests this morning and each of you sweet She’s. Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs ❤️!
Yes so good Catherine! I love Goodness of God as well! My fav version is Jen Johnson’s! And Evidence is perfect song as well! I am so happy that you are seeing the blessing throughout your trial! You never even complain or grumble about it which is such a testament! Love you sister!
Catherine, I love the goodness of God too. It really does say it all! Oh, I live I the goodness of God.. AMEN.
Hope you are well and that life is being kind to you.sending love wrapped hugs your way Catherine..❤️
Good Morning Shes
Not just great things,
GREAT things.
Beginning each morning &
never ending though evening.
Formidable. Dependable. Forever!
Have a wonderful-filled weekend!
Amen & Amen

I see your comment on the app, JEN B., but I don’t see it here on the website, where I post. So, I hope you see this, in other words… Thanks be to God for this new job! And thank you for the update.
–
As I was looking at today’s verse, I see past tense… we WERE filled with joy. I agree with Tina and that we need to remember (especially when so often we DO NOT!!)
–
The ESV and also the NIV both use present tense… I have the NIV verbiage on some artwork… “and we ARE (emphasis, mine) filled with joy.”
–
Let us always remember what He HAS DONE for us and WILL continue to DO for us, sweet She’s! ❤️
Good morning, sweet sisters! Thank you all for your continued prayers! This has been a rough week because I came down with a terrible stomach bug (which I never do) and have had to keep up with all my caregiver duties even when I felt horrible. I can barely fix him his meals because the sight/smell of food is hard to take. It’s very discouraging to be sick and not be able to take any time off to get better. Sorry to be whiny! Please pray that I can get my strength back and that Jack doesn’t get it! I can see that he’s declining.
There are so many of you that I pray for by name every day. You are loved!
Good morning SWEET Lynne from Alabama! First, you are not whinny. I’m SO sorry your not feeling well. The stomach bug is awful and I’m so sorry your still having to make meals when you don’t feel well. Please know YOU are being prayed for. Is there someone you could call to help you make meals for Jack? Praying for a quick recovery.
Ditto everything Mari V said! You were heavily on my heart yesterday! Praying you can find relief from this soon. Do you have a pleasant/soothing smelling cream that you could smooth under your nose before you start cooking? Praying for you, DANIELLE B, LINDA IN NC, GRAMIESUE, NANCY S, and ALL longterm caregivers! Love, hugs, and prayers! Oops, battery going out now. ❤
Praying for you Lynne for a quick recovery so you have strength back to help Jack.
Praying for your healing and strength.❤️
Dearest Lynne, this is not winning, this is sharing with sisters that care! This is what we are called to do… carry one another’s burdens.. we can do that through and in prayer as we are so scattered..
Praying for you to get better soonest, and for whatever it is not to get to Jack..
You are loved too dear sister.. continued prayers for you both.. He is near.. always..❤️
Hope you feel better, Lynne. Good to see your name here. ❤️
Oh Lynn, soooo sorry you are not feeling well. I know how hard it is and I pray for you to recover quickly, for Jack to not get it, and for you to have time for extra rest. Hugs to you ❤️
The Lord has done great things for us. Amen
Amen, Donna Mitchelle.. Amen.❤️
I have done like Rhonda and created a journal and I do it daily. I list three things I’m thankful for that day. It has changed my mindset.
The Lord has truly done great things for us and we are joyful! If He never did another thing for me, He has done enough. He has redeemed me and allowed me into his family. I get to call Him my Father, I have a relationship with Him, He never leaves me nor forsakes me, the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing! Once you start, you can’t stop! God is so good and faithful. His mercies are new every morning!
❤
Amen! ❤️
Yes Amen! All we have to do is start with 1! And we can easily list so many blessings even in the midst of our trails and afflictions! I always think of Paul, how he was in prison yet kept writing of the joy in his sufferings.
What a great reminder this morning! I just read the verse as loud as I could. I know it’s true and I want to keep declaring it over my heart and my circumstances. I pray for each of you to feel blessed by the great things that God has done for you as you walk through this day! ❤️
Yes Lord, you are faithful, sometimes it has been my view and my actions that have not seen it!
Yes!
Amen! Lord, help to remember your goodness!!
Thanks be to God for he has done great things for us.
When the weight of the world is weighing me down, what a wonderful promise of how good God is!
v. 3 Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us!
What joy!
As the people look back at the joy they felt upon returning from exile, it must have suddenly become aware of the opportunities and responsibility now at their feet. They had heard God’s promises for them all of their lives. Now it isvup to them to do what God instructed them to do. I imagine reality and a little fear could have hit them at some point and diluted those feelings of celebration. Just a little imaginary thinking out loud knowing that is probably how I would feel!
FULL PASSAGE IN NLT
When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem,
it was like a dream!
2 We were filled with laughter,
and we sang for joy.
And the other nations said,
“What amazing things the Lord has done for them.”
3 Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us!
What joy!
4 Restore our fortunes, Lord,
as streams renew the desert.
5 Those who plant in tears
will harvest with shouts of joy.
6 They weep as they go to plant their seed,
but they sing as they return with the harvest.
Biblegateway Verse of the Day:
Proverbs 23:24
The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise.
Praying and praising with you, SHES! ❤
5″Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of Joy!!”
I LOVE this!! This is gonna be my verse!then-
6 They weep as they go to plant their
seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.
But it stores with “restore” which means things were all but lost, but the Lord restored for his children. They wept, He wipes their/our tears. Joy comes in the morning!
❤
Good morning, my sweet She’s!!
I am excited to see SO many of the comments this morning and feel again like I’m in a space with all of you….have missed that!!
PRAISE REPORT: The week our sweetie (friends’ son) spent in hospital was extremely difficult and in addition to more tonic seizures in a day than his doctors had ever seen, his organs began to rebel!! Thanks be to God, his scary blood levels went down faster than expected. Unfortunately, this means his parents had already cancelled their long-awaited couple getaway already…..But God is sooo good!! At least from $$ standpoint, they were able to recover some of the funds and God has sent them some unexpected love / surprises here and there (over and above the “our son is still alive”)
And NOW….they are spending this week with the most delightful person in the world (our foster toddler) who lights up all their lives (including boy recovering at home)….which means….
Hubby and I managed to go away with our 4 elderly parents!! The weather has been better than expected and everyone is mostly getting along. God is sending provision that I did not think to pray for (like ‘angels’ on the beach coming to lend a hand as we hold up each parent getting into the water, making them brave enough to do so). So lovely!! I also had a good, happy cry watching all the beautiful fuss over my FIL’s 88th birthday.
For my whole life, my father has been very, very unkind, critical (often abusive) and downright irritating to my mother and continues to do so on this trip, threatening to ruin it for my mother (and me). Thankfully, much of this is behind closed doors.
Please God continues to hold hubby and I up, as a unified front, able to deal with situations and make all 4 parents feel loved. My Jesus…each time I begin to feel discouraged…has sent me a stranger (yesterday one took me aside to say she lost her mother last year and reminding me that what we’re doing is important).
TOO LONG!! Sorry my sisters!
I’m hoping that the # of comments I can actually see today will continue so I can stay up to date with your future news!
Not too long st all! Happy for these blessings in your life and praying for a smooth finish to your time together. Prayers for that sweet boy and family! ❤
Yes to the lots of comments-This could be a record for a Saturday!! I am happy that you Sister sound grateful and blessed through the struggles and trials! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for the sweet story ❤️
May you stay encouraged, Foster Mama ❤️
Oh Ladies. You are all so dear to me.
I get such blessings from your comments.
Steve has been doing so well lately and I’m so thankful. We go to the gym 3 days a week, walk 1/2 mile on the laps (very, very slowly as he still has no feeling in his feet and calves so with braces and a cane). We laugh about the “old ladies” who pass him. After our laps, we go to the weight machines and work our arms and legs to gain more muscle. I admit, I need it too! So I have enjoyed being able to have a break from the constant care. Yes, I still have to do ALL of the household chores, fix meals, give him his daily supplements and meds…but the worry has let up.
Until yesterday. Sigh
He apparently has caught a bug of some sort so he’s feeling terrible. Upset tummy, fever in the night, achy. And I’m back to that worrying and hovering. Wondering where he caught the bug. Because of the infusions he gets every six months to stop the Vasculitis, his immune system is compromised. We have been so careful but now he’s sick. And it will take him so much longer to get over it.
And we have such a busy weekend planned…grands birthday party, Father’s Day with all 15 kids and grands here this evening, traveling tomorrow to see my folks who are in their 80’s for their 58th anniversary, my brother’s retirement party….so which of these do I have to choose not to do? Or do I do them all and leave Steve by himself feeling bad?
Ladies, pray for me please. ❤️
❤️ praying ❤️ praying ❤️
Praying for you every day, sweet sister! I definitely feel your pain! I hope you don’t catch the bug!
Same words and thoughts as from Foster Mama and Lynne From Alabama… ❤️
Praying ❤️
Oh no..it sounded so good, until the sick part :/ ! You have so much going on, I don’t know how you do all that even feeling well! Prayers that the decisions are made for you somehow. Praying you stay well, as well as Lynn. You women are such warriors! I am not a good caregiver, so you both are winners in my book. Proverbs women!!
Praying Steve will recover quickly from this bug and enjoy the festivities.
praying for speedy recovery…
Praying GRAMSIESUE, praying hard!❤️
God’s will be done ❤️
Well, so far so good. I went to the grands birthday party alone and he stayed home and rested. Yes, I was quite disappointed but they all understand. Everyone came to our house this evening and all my girls helped prepare a taco bar for everyone. Steve seemed to enjoy it all. May be feeling a tad better???
He asked what time I wanted to leave tomorrow to drive up to see my folks and celebrate their anniversary and my brother’s retirement. So I guess he’s going with me. I hope and pray he’s feeling much better. He’s already gone to bed. Just pray we have a good trip and good visit and he feels good. I love you gals!! ❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Amen ❤️
Yay—Saturday! GM She’s!
Today is my group..and the lesson is on killing our giants! Fear! Oh Fear..be gone in me of leading a Big Group of 22 potential faces staring at me! My mouth and brain seem to freeze,
BUT GOD..I know it will be a blessing and the angst will disappear because I have Joy in the Lord, and I remember the last 2 years of how God has always used the Holy Spirit in me to step past the fear and enjoy and grow. Being together is such a blessing and gift, and like Tina said, when we forget…like we so often do,
we can remind each other of all the Lord HAS done for us, and celebrate that and to encourage each other that he is the Same God yesterday, today, and forever! It is a great truth and Joy that he is ALWAYS there for us working for good!
Even during the trials we focus on God’s love for us and the work He is doing in us. Even though my marriage is going through some growing pains, I am ALWAYS thankful for the man he sent me that has been such a beautiful spouse and provider and we have so much joy! Even though my back hurts daily..I am able to walk and go, and do so much! God is Good! I love the song Even If by Mercyme! Even if things don’t change instantly or ever…there are abundant blessings surrounding me!
Lord keep my eyes on you! You are my joy! My past joy, my present joy, and my everlasting joy! You are my sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray. You make me shine your strength and light and encourage others in their hard. Help me to always be there for others sharing your goodness. Amen!
You are such a blessing to us! ❤️
❤️ Absolutely!
God’s got you, Rhonda! No fear!!! ❤
Right!! ❤️
You are amazing Rhonda! You will be such a light to that group. I remember when you were getting ready to help with the prison/jail ministry and you were so nervous. Look at you now!! God is definitely working through you to touch so many lives and spread joy! I also love Even If by Mercy Me. Such a great message. Have a great study today and a great weekend! God is good!
Love you sweet lady!
Ya’ll are such a blessing for giving time to pray for me! God is certainly using me to share his Glory. It is an amazing thing and keeps me going. And seeing and hearing what other people face and go through builds us all up to be the people God wants. We are not meant to be lone rangers! Thankfully, we have access to websites and social media that even when we are alone or unable to go out, that we can unite with our sisters in Christ and make a difference! Just sharing a comment matters. Just those praying in the background make a difference.
A song that just played that I’ve not heard in awhile that goes with what we have discussed is “Look What You’ve Done” by Tasha Layton!
Praying for your leading and the study group to go well Rhonda. May seeds of faith and sweet fellowship be formed.
This verse again appears to be for me. ❤️ I am proof of answered prayers this week. A week ago today I asked for prayer on here and many of you prayed for me. I was having numerous medical (heart) tests last week. God heard my and your prayers. The tests I had this week all came back okay. I will be starting a new medication and having a few follow up appointments. But the answers to my medical issues appear to be simple. Thank you so much for praying. Your prayers carried me through.
Praise the Lord!
Amen, thank you Lord!
Honored to share in your need and so thankful the issues are ‘simple’ and fairly easy to remedy – answered prayer! Praying the meds do the trick with no side effects. ❤ I have been where you are right now and it’s such a good feeling!!!
Thanks be to God! And thank you for the update. ❤️
❤️
Praise God, Sherry! ❤️
Amen! Thank you for those wise words today Tina.
Thankful for His work in my life. May I always remember in thanks and joy.

Great reminder that on the mountaintop, in the valley, in between, when we aren’t sure where we are – He is with us.
MEMEFAYE – thanks again for the Cece mention, love her song and seeing her sing it. Prayed for the audience as I saw them clapping in time to the song – that the words and truth would sink in as they remembered the experience, that they would turn to Him and clap in praise.

The Lord has done great things for us, indeed! Sometimes in my prayer time I like to just stop and praise Him for all the blessings of my life, but after 67 years (as of tomorrow) they are way to many to remember! But, I praise Him for the things I do remember – His blessings, upon blessings, upon blessings! And that can’t help but make me joyful!

Happy birthday tomorrow to Sharon and to you, Mandi! ❤️
Good morning Sharon, no I haven’t been able to get away “yet”. I’m hopeful. I’m off this week and awaiting to see if I get called in for extra hours. We are trying to figure out “where” to stay in San Luis Obispo as its very expensive, but we do need a short get-away. I know that I know God will make it known, just as I know HE will continue to provide during the summer. Thank you so much for praying for me! It means SO much to me!
Happy early birthday dear Sharon. May you have a wonderful blessed day tomorrow, wrapped in God’s love and joy.❤️
May our remembrances of answered prayers, large and small bring us faith-filled joy…AMEN ❤️
Amen!
A while ago a lady in my small group, asked us to join her in prayer for God to provide the extra funds she needed to go with her friend to a conference. That was okay in itself, but the next bit, made my heart jump.. ” I’ve been praying but God, isn’t listening, he never answers my prayers”
The first part of this Psalm, I thought, was in the past.. I guess in a way it is.. the people were remembering, the goodness of God, the provision of God, the joy they felt, the joy they had, the songs of praise, what others had noticed in them and what their God had done for them..
My friend needed reminding of the things God had done for her just in the years we had been a small group.. so I said.. “Are you sure he never hears your prayers” She replied “I can’t remember the last time He did” Thank God for the 5 witnesses that remembered praying with her for the provision of a new car, or that she would move to a suitable place with her children, or for her to find an art group to join, or a friendship that seemed over would be restored. We each reminded her of something we had prayed with her that had come to pass.. Her response.. “..so true, I had forgotten that..”
We do forget. We move on so fast from the answer to prayer, I think, for the mundane, everyday stuff..
BUT GOD.. He is in the everything. Large, small, in-between.. no prayer too small. No ask, too big.
Psalm 126:1-3 is a remembering. A joyfilled remembering of God and what He can and will do for the people He loves and calls His own..
The second part is after the fact of remembering, basically, The Lord did it once, twice, three times and then some before, please remind us of your goodness, your provision, your grace and mercy, the joy we felt, the hope we had, the laughter we had as we brought home armloads of blessings(the MSG)..
And do it again!
THE LORD HAS DONE, (AND CONTINUES TO DO) GREAT THINGS FOR US, AND WE ARE FILLED WITH JOY..
Thank you Lord God, Thank you Father God..
Lord God, may I always remember what you have done for me.
AMEN.
Happy Joy-filled Saturday dear hearts, as you remember the goodness of God small or large.. He is good..!
Much love, always,
Tina❤️
The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy..
Good words,Tina! Thanks for the reminder of how fickle we can be !❤️
Yes, God is good – all the time, even when we forget the blessings He has bestowed on us. Sometimes we so easily forget, it’s good to be reminded.❤️
Amen and HAPPY BIRTHDAY tomorrow!!! ❤
May our remembrances of answered prayers, large and small bring us faith-filled joy…AMEN ❤️
TINA – love you, and your comment today as it focuses on currently feeling and continuing to feel joy for what the LORD (Yahweh) has already done for us and His promise to continue! When I read today’s verse, I immediately wondered – why is that past tense, and looked at NKJV, where this verse ends with “And we are glad.”
Good good words Tina!!!! Thank you for being such a wonderful encourager!!!
Tina, so good! I keep a prayer journal and have gotten in the habit of keeping list of things I have prayed for over the year. I will literally go back and check off the list a year later and it’s astounding how he provides. I was in a similar funk as your friend one time and went back to my journal from college, a time that I was not faithful, and said to myself Lord where were you then? I found a prompt a week before one of my lowest points where the Lord had closed so many doors, and in my 30 year old wisdom I read the prompt with tears in my eyes seeing for the first time each closed door was a protective barrier that I burst right through. I had even written an opportunity, a clear open door from the Lord that I knew at the time I was supposed to take and I ignored it. And I thought to myself. Wow. Even when I was breaking down barriers you were putting up, you were still providing a way out, a clear way out. Thank God I finally found it.
Great testimony as always! Thanks for sharing and expounding on your teachable moments of this life! Love you and sending Southern hugs wrapped in love (and a little humidity- we have so much, I just have to share! Lol) ❤
It shouldn’t be so easy to forget our praises and answered prayers but it IS!! Reading your comment I was thinking about the big things but reflecting also on….How many THOUSANDS ❤️ of “arrow prayers” in my life — those in the moment “Oh Lord, help” …”Oh God, no!”…”OK. Guide me…here I go”…”Speak through me”
— how many has He answered!?! The world could not contain the books if we wrote them ALL down but I pray that it will change the posture of my / our hearts. I never want want to forget Who I’m dealing with, the ❤️ One in whom I wisely place my life. He is the one Who answers (although not always in the way I want) and He is faithful!!
Thank you dear Tina. Remembering all that God has done for me is such good medicine for my soul.
