Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
What, then, are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

I read the devotional from my computer, I was having troubles scrolling down to view ALL comments with Google Chrome, it stopped after a few comments and was quite frustrating…but when I tried using Microsoft Edge, it scrolled all the way, sometimes it took a few seconds lagging, then it would load more, all the way (so just a tip if any of us can’t see all comments, download/use Microsoft edge browser). I read this tip a while back from another she. Also, I’d like to thank to another she who was sharing with me your tips of the medicine for kid’s motion sickness. I never knew. Thank you so much for that wisdom, and that would be my go-to for flights. It was tough for them, and my youngest always pulled our ear plugs. Be blessed dear sisters.
Take a deep breath, the clothes can wait a day or two, I am praying for your strength and mental health. It will all work out❤️
Thank you for your advice ..I will ❤️
Happy Saturday she’s
We have made it back safely to Canada thanks to God’s grace and your faithful prayers. Thank you so much. It was so challenging to fly with young kids on red eye flight and let’s say it was pure stress. I am glad to be home. Spring is starting slowly up where we are, and the sweet yellow daffodils welcomed us back home. That was the first sight I saw, thanks be to God and peace filled my heart after 26 hour long of flights and layovers. The interesting thing was, this verse came to pass by the grace of God, “No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear,[ c] but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it”. Each moment when I was at the end of my rope, dealing with kids tantrums, some relief was granted. Praise the Lord. But now…I am dealing with mixed emotions after my trip and they flare up strong, I feel like crying. Saying goodbye was hard, and magnified with the kids’ emotions when saying goodbye to their grandparents. I would appreciate your prayers. Unpacking luggages and doing laundry are lining up, but I lost the motivation because of this mood. We have been up around 4am because of jet lag. I would appreciate prayers that we have the strength and grace to adjust sleep/wake up time, because we will be back to normal activities of work and school on Monday. I hope you all are having a lovely weekend, filled with good rest and God’s grace. Be blessed dear sisters.
So glad you made it back Safely, but sorry if the lag and laundry and all that jazz! People dont really realize how much the mom dies for a family, especially 3 kids so young!! Sorry for the blues too…I used to always get those and sad and fear driving away from my parent’s house after a visit, my husband never really understood, but now we live away from his family so he probably does better now. I am really missing everyone. Love ya!
Miss you Rhonda ❤️
Glad to have you back! I, too, know all about that emotional parting. Prayers for comfort for your hearts! ❤
Thank you CEE GEE. Never thought I would be an emotional mess like this :((
James 1:14 (Biblegateway verse of the day)
“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.”
I thought that verse partnered well with the early section of Romans chapter 8 (thanks, TINA!).
discipline is hard but we have the help of the Holy Spirit if we will just hand the reins over to Him. Lots if great stuff here today in text and comments!
I ‘posted’ early this morning, but don’t see it so I tried again. Apologies if y’all see a double post!
TINA, your comment reminded me of a song we sing often at church:
BLESSED BE YOUR NAME
Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
Blessed Be Your name
When I’m found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I’ll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun’s shining down on me
When the world’s ‘all as it should be’
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there’s pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I’ll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
(You give and take away)
Blessed be Your name
(You give and take away)
Blessed be the name of the Lord
(My heart will choose to say)
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
To the rising of the sun over us
To the setting of the same
Though there’s pain on the offering
Songwriters: Matt Redman, Beth Redman.
TYPO: Should read James 1:19
I love this song so much.
Me too! ❤
So thankful that God is for us! We need to look back over our lives and remember all the times He has protected us, healed, delivered, comforted, strengthened, and just surrounded us with His love and presence. I pray we all experience His loving presence today and everyday!
Amen
❤
Yes, I was recalling in my story….and there were way too many to tell!!! He is there in so many ways when looking back!! So important, and to share, tell, write down…!
♥️
Good morning She’s, I know I’ve been less vocal the last several weeks. I’m recognizing I’ve been operating in survival mode for the last month or so. Also, if I’m honest I wasn’t eager to study Numbers and it has certainly impacted my time in this study, that is why I appreciate all of your comments and insights dear She’s!
As I asked you to pray these many months, I want to share with you all some positives and ongoing prayers. Yesterday we celebrated my grandma’s 95 birthday. We took in treats for her to share with the staff and my sister sent decorations for her room in the rehab. My grandma had a bid smile most of our visit. The prayer for her is an assessment indicated she will need long-term care. As she wants to go home, this means finding the right agency and staffing to be with her 24 hours a day. While she’s not thrilled, she is accepting it so she can go home. I attended a training this week that adds to suspicions I’ve had and I hope we will follow up on as a family.
The other positive is my dad is four weeks post surgery and was released by his surgeon Thursday. He continues to have limitations for a couple weeks, but he is pleased to be released. His lung capacity is improving and will continue to take time to come back after they had to deflate both of his lungs.
Ladies thank you so much for the many prayers and your faithful commenting they are a blessing to me in this season.
Thanks for these updates! Continued prayers! ❤
Great to hear all the new Danielle! Continued prayers for all you are juggling!
GM, Happy Wkd She’s!
I love Romans, I have been memorizing Romans 12:12 “rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer” It is so good to know that God is ALWAYS for us!! Who can be against us, when we have a BIG God?! Yes, tribulation-But God…we can preserve…Hallelujah!
Reminds me of my dear friend I have told you all about since last year. She is one of the ones I met in jail ministry, and it used to be such a testimony seeing her and another stand, rejoicing in the Lord, singing “Trust in God.” Not caring what other girls were in there, not caring how they sounded…just trusting in God that He would see them through their time there and had a greater purpose! Well, Stacy got transferred to the dorm (a better part of the jail) and so we didn’t get to see her but she was able to write to us still. She said she would share Jesus with anyone who would listen. She spent her time in the word, Christian podcasts, and yes, singing! For good behavior she was selected to be a few that could go daily over to the stable to help with the farm animals, which was a blessing to be outside, away from others, and to connect with the animals. She was finally released just over 3 weeks ago, which some of you know I have had lunch with her each week! God has been blessing her step by step! She got a job instantly, but she would owe 200 per week for rent in the recovery halfway home she shares with 3 others. Well, God provided with a friend donating 200. Then our men;s group gave me 200 to give to her. Praise God!
Now for the big news I was going to share with ya’ll today! Her mom is in town so they are coming to our church so we can meet her…and now SHE IS GETTING BAPTIZED TOMMORROW also!! We arranged yesterday to get it okayed! I am just over the top to see how God can put each piece of the puzzle together. She also got her 10 month sober chip this past week!! I will have to share a couple of pictures on our FB page tomorrow!! (one thing I love about our group there, and hope we will get more testimonies on there of what God is doing in our lives!!)
Another thing to share on God working the pieces in our lives…A lady at church is sharing my story of living with chronic pain in a book she is putting together. In the recounting and writing out it overwhelms me to see the pieces and seeing how God works them all together when you put your faith and trust in Him. Although my story seems kinda “less dramatic” then others that go through horrific stuff, it is still something that is a constant in my life (a thorn in my side!) that I know God uses. I am so blown away by how He gave me strength along the way and may things come together that were miraculous in my life, all glory to Him!!
If you are going through something that seems endless, remember God is working and stitching together your beautiful tapestry that you will unveil at some point, maybe even on the other side…but it is stunning!!
18 For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared[x] to the coming glory that will be revealed to us.
Romans 8:18
Outstanding! ❤
❤️ Our God is such a an awesome God and is so amazing!
Rhonda how great is ourGod! Singing praises with you and this woman!
Rhonda J- just WOW!! I love every part of this. I live with chronic pain as well. Definitely a thorn in the side. My hubby did jail ministry and if you go back on the FB page and watch his memorial service, you will hear the testimony of one of the men he was blessed to witness to.
I will listen, your husband influenced so many, I remember reading about some!! (And you too!!! Love you podcast appearance, and your blog!! So good!! I will share with you the book when it comes out of how people have overcome in some powerful ways..but would love to share my story with ya’ll! YOU have so many testimonies yourself to share!! We need to share your blog page on FB and the podcast episode. Hope you are doing okay…I think of you often. I can’t imagine such a sudden loss of your husband, and your son 10 years ago.
THIS is SO WONDERFUL Rhonda!!!! Praising God with the rest here! Thank you for sharing such JOYFUL news with us! Thanking God for YOU, for answering the call to jail ministry!! God is SO Good!!!
Love hearing about all you are doing Rhonda with these women to help them turn their lives around.
How incredible! I love your perseverance despite the “thorn”.
God has used it in so many great ways…it’s a thorn on a beautiful rose bush!!
Thank you all…It is just me trusting and looking to God..when you do that he brings about tremendous blessings around you and for you!
This is so very awesome! YES, YES, YES! Our God is good.. praising Him with you.. wow!
Will be lifting your lady in praying for her baptism and the days to follow.
Rhonda, thanking God for you!♥️
Praise God for the work you do to spread The Word of God, which gives hope and life to all those who believe ❤️
At Tina’s suggestion I read all of chapter 8. It is packed with SO much good stuff!
“If God is for us, who can stand against us?” NO ONE!!
What a comforting thought to also know that nothing, nothing, nothing, can separate us from the love of Christ! Romans 8:35-39

Amen, TINA, thank you for the nudge to read all of Romans 8.❤️

Thank you for asking about my sister Arian, Kelly. She has not found a full time job yet. She is still working as a part-time substitute teacher and will be off in a few weeks for summer break – without pay. Continued prayers are much appreciated! ❤️
Thank you Kelly. We landed Thursday evening, and were so jet lagged. I felt so tattered managing the kids, multiple transfers and layovers.
I love how you check on people ❤️
No, unfortunately not, thank you for asking. Still praying God delivers them from this trial and gives them reconciliation. He is still proceeding with divorce as far as I know. Appreciate you asking ❤️
Amen
I love these words, absolutely love them!
If God is for you who can be against you..
In the good, He is there..
In the bad, He is with you..
In the broken, He is mending..
In the heartache, He is mending..
In the storms of life, He is calming..
In the joys, He celebrates with us..
He is for you, whatever the journey..
As my mum would say back in the day “Woe betide you who is against a child of God”
If I may, might I suggest reading the whole chapter.. it is worth the read.. so promising and heartwarming..
BUT GOD..
AMEN..
Happy Saturday dear hearts. May every blessing poured out on you, turn back to praise, for He, He alone is worthy..Amen. ❤️
Sorry, I thought I read over before sending..
It should read.. in the heartache He is comforting..
♥️
He is doing both❣️

Good Day Shes…and a Saturday salute, specially Tina, for calling us deeper into the scripture reading. May the Good Lord keep & carry us through whatever the weekend holds. He is more than able.
ROMANS, Chapter
35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”)
37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”
(NLT)
Loved this so much Tina.
Love this Tina❤️
