I had a wonderful coffee date with my friend Stacy today. Once again, it was full of smiles and tears. She is very passionate about Jesus and how her life is going to be different now! Oh I so pray for her that her faith will stay strong when temptations come. She said she knows that the stronghold has been broken, Praise God! She said once she hit her knees in that cell that she knew it would be gone. Then she tells how she would sing praise songs loudly with her hands in the air in the pod, girls telling her to hush, and her saying “No,I’m singing to Jesus!” She wants to go back to minister in jail when she is allowed and tell her testimony and that they can do it too! She said that our ministry team really was the trigger and help during all of this!! Isn’t it wonderful that God is confirming that he uses us all when we are willing to do work for him!!? For 1 sheep…I will keep doing what God calls for me! I ask you all, my she’s, to give her one shout out in your prayers tonight! Please God use Stacy for your Glory! And be with our team to keep giving girls the tools and encouragement to live for you Lord! We had 16 ladies this past week, and seeing the light on their faces that they didn’t have before! I hope this doesn’t sound boastful- I’m sharing because it makes me so happy to see the Lord working! And I am thrilled that I stepped out in faith to a ministry I had no clue that I would love so much!

Happy “Woman’s” Day. Mothering can take many forms, not just birthing. So blessings to all of you sisters in whatever form “mothering” takes.

    1. Gwineth52 says:

I can read 5 comments plus 3 responses. It says there are 25 comments. I went back to yesterday because I know there are tips and tricks that you all have posted and I can read approximately 10 of the 71 posts. I have gone out and back into the comment section several times. That said, I do like the idea of the new format and being able to read all the comments on the side. Once the bugs are worked out…I appreciate all the work of the tech department!
This verse really highlights God’s care for his people. He didn’t just lead them out to the wilderness and leave them. And he wasn’t just leading them. He was giving them His presence!

Happy Saturday sweet She’s! We may not have a cloud over us by day leading us or a fiery light by night, BUT we have the Holy Spirit prompting inside our hearts, guiding us, protecting us. Telling us when to GO and when to STOP. Oh…that I would heed to the STOP and keep my mouth SHUT, but even then I pick myself UP and try again. Makes me think of the kindergarten class when a child says something not-so-nice to another child and I say: “try that again.” Speaking of Kindergarten, this week was Teacher appreciation week. OUR school is SO special that we call it Teacher AND STAFF appreciation week. ALL are acknowledged! MY HEART was overwhelmed with all the out pour of gifts, notes and GOODIES…oh boy do I LOVE goodies!! My favorite were the hand-written little notes from them. Oh……so precious! I love KINDERGARTEN and I hope they keep me there! I felt appreciated not only by the students but by admin as well. AND the substitute teacher and I get along well and we are “in sync.” She, too is a believer and strong in her faith. I KNOW it was my Jesus who orchestrated all this to end my first year as a para well. There’s LOTS of end of the year testing. LOTS!! AND even though I’m exhausted, I’m SO blessed I get to do this with this substitute teacher and we work WELL together! Continued prayers and guidance for the summer please.

    1. Kelly (NEO) says:

So glad God gave you that bonus blessing to wrap up the year

    2. Rhonda J. says:

Love this Mari! I love following people’s journeys and seeing how the Lord blesses us, challenges us, and grows us! Everyone has a story…! (heart emoji!)

  8. Cee Gee says:

Even though we don’t have the visual proof of His leading, we KNOW and can TRUST that He is. God is doing what He promised. Obedience is my part.

Thinking of you all and already prayed for each of you with this recognition weekend in th U.S. May God bless each of your hearts, especially those who struggle with this time.

    1. Rhonda J. says:

“Trust and Obey…for there’s no other way…but to Trust and Obey!” One of my favorite hymns!

  9. Danielle B says:

I thought I read a prayer from a fellow She for the mother’s, those who want to be, those who lost, and for those who will only be aunties. I no longer see it, but I thank you!

  10. Adrienne says:

Can’t see comments today. Trying an actual post. ❤️

  11. Cheryl Blow says:

Happy Mother’s Day Eve to all the Mother’s, mothers to be, mothers who have lost a child, and even those who will never have children but are the best aunties and friends!

Loved everyone’s comments! My prayer isa yet

    1. Danielle B says:

      ❤️
      Thank you!

    2. Margaret W says:

My pastor always reminds us that God’s command to be fruitful and multiply is about so much more that childbearing; it is about growing God’s kingdom here on earth. We don’t need a husband or children of our own to participate in kingdom building. For those who long to be mothers or grieve lost mothers or children at this time, remember that we are all part of a much greater family. ❤️

    3. Susan B says:

As a mom that will be missing one son’s voice for the second mother’s day, thank you! On a blessed note, we were able to watch our great grandson be formally adopted by our granddaughter and her husband. He has been a part of our family for about two years, and Tuesday made it official!

      1. Rhonda J. says:

Good to see you Susan! Prayers with missing your son. What a blessing a great grandson!

  12. Traci Gendron says:

Covering you all in prayer. Have a good weekend.

  13. Linda in NC says:

Thank you dear sisters for your continued prayers. I’m thankful I have a faithful Father God and that I can live in his goodness each and every day!
Our daughter was a great help last week with my cataract surgery. My recovery is slower than I expected. Guess I should not have expectations except in the Lord . Maybe expectations are what caused the spies to see giants and not remember God was with them and had promised victory!
Happy Mother’s Day to each mother. To each sister who desires to be a mother I pray for strength and encouragement during this difficult weekend and each day to come.
    Love to all❤

    1. Valentina says:

This is good Linda! I’ve never thought of how expectations being a possiblity of why the spies doubted God’s presence with them. I have found that when I read the stories in the Bible, even though I know they are all true stories, I forget that it means all of those people had thoughts and feelings just like we do.

      Praying for your continued healing!

  14. Kelly (NEO) says:

    1. Danielle B says:

Oh yes Kelly, the following is what gets me. He’s there to lead I just need to slow down enough to follow.

    2. Adrienne says:

      Ya… following gets me too!

  15. Michelle Patire says:

Kimberly Z- wow, the timing of this event yesterday..
Sometimes, God uses the things of the past we’ve experienced to give us a burden of prayer for those around us. I pray God will continue to use your dad’s story to ignite faith in others. I pray you hold it tight to your heart personally and continue in intercession for those hurting around you. ❤️
Lord, please help those who are entertaining thoughts of suicide… Lord, you alone are their relief… Please be near to them. Help them see You as the way out.

@Changed Life ❤️ I am so sorry. It is so hard to lose our fur friends. They are our best friends. Our daily companion. May you and your husband hold tight to the Lord and find Him as your comfort. He loves your doggy even more so… ❤️

  18. Tina says:

My friend sent me a few photos of the sky around where she was last night… OMG! I have never seen a sky like it! I have seen the Orangey/yellowy, hint of red sunset that stops me in My tracks, but this sky was off the sky rating on my richter scale.!!! It was a mix of pinks with hints of Orange and purple.. I could sing the rainbow and mix it up and probably couldn’t describe it perfectly. Believe me when I say.. Awesomely amazingly amazing!!! And if that wasn’t enough, This wonderment was covered in stars!!!

This came to mind when I read the second section of this verse..

.. With a fiery light throughout the night..

The wonders of God.. A sky like that guiding me to My promises land would have me excited, seriously excited for what is to come! I don’t know about you, but I would be skipping along with the guiding/leading cloud by day and this fiery light by night!

    Precious Lord, lead me on…

Dear hearts, praying for a weekend of wonderment for all, covered in starry blessings.❤

Will share photos on Facebook page, if interested..
