Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
For God was pleased to have
all his fullness dwell in him,
and through him to reconcile
everything to himself,
whether things on earth or things in heaven,
by making peace
through his blood, shed on the cross.
—Colossians 1:19–20

The snow/ icy weather here in the PNW (gorge) has forced me to take some much needed time to slow down, focus and savor the goodness of God. The holidays overwhelmed me this year. I kept up my reading during advent (I do the book subscription) and listened to the podcasts but missed keeping up with the community comment threads. I’ve missed it. For some reason I never received day 17 or. 19 postings on the app but today they popped up so I’m no all caught up. Blessings to all this weekend and may the peace of Jesus that came to us through his sacrifice. walk with us all
Good morning, sweet She’s and happy Saturday. I had to laugh a little to know that we are one degree warmer here in California than Florida. Brr… but it’s still only 52°. Today’s Grace Day verse reminded me of Isaiah 53:5 , especially the last part. “By his stripes we are healed” thank you, Jesus! That verse always reminds me of the Christian band back in the late 80s who named their band after this first. They were called: Stryper. I’m housesitting for my friend, Gretchen, and she has one of those insert fireplaces, so I feel all cozy here reading His Word with all of you and don’t want to get up. But I’m also waiting for my other sweet friend and we’re gonna go on our long walk. I’m so glad we’re not in the 30° weather. Enjoy your day sweet She’s.

This is sanctity of life weekend. We choose life!! On YouTube, google we choose life/heath brothers – Amazing young men with a story.
I read verse 31 in a devo gifted to me at Christmas, but feel the need to share 30 as well.
John 14:30 “I don’t have much more time to talk to you, because the ruler of this world approaches. He has no power over me,
31 but I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father. Come, let’s be going.”
Jesus did what the Father required of Him to show His love for the Father. Is my response to the ‘waiting’ thing in my life ‘required of me’ in order for my love for God to be revealed or made stronger?
SEARCHING – ❤
KELLY NEO – Yes, I was thinking of that when I read. Thanks for the details! ❤
I have had a little health struggle this week and ask for your prayers. Keeping all of your requests close to heart. ❤
GAYLE CRAIK – Update? ❤
Thank you Father for making a way. Thank you Jesus for the cross. Amen & Amen!!!
Making peace through his blood. Thank you God! I turned the corner with covid, thanks be to Jesus!
And all the sweet She’s say, “Amen! ❤️
Thank you Lord for making a way. For us, for me. When there was no way, separated by sin, but you made a way Lord God through Jesus Christ. What an amazing, overwhelming gift to us, and then the “blow your mind” addition, that we have you living in us, Holy Spirit, each and every second of every day. It’s quite crazy the magnitude of it all, I never get tired of learning more and drawing closer. Every church should be preaching the cross. Without it, there is nothing.
We are sunny in SWF but chilly with the rest of ya’ll, well, in the 50’s! We usually sit outside Panera for small group on Saturdays but will be inside today!! It is SO wonderful to meet like that, with friends…BUT friends talking about Jesus!! I don’t think there is anything better! I was missing this in my life for a long time. I am so thankful and blessed. Maybe this sounds ideal to you—? START one!!! Think about it. We “are stronger where there are 2 or more…” We are! There is a building of faith, a stronger strength, a bond to encourage and be there for one another in a way that other friends aren’t.
Hoping you, our She’s, have a good, warm, cozy wkd!!
Good Morning Rhonda☁️. Funny ….. We here in California are 1° warmer than SWF. I texted my sister to tease her.
♥️
God made peace through Jesus death on the cross – the perfect lamb, the perfect sacrifice. Peace. God’s peace. The world longs for peace yet they look in all the wrong places. Jesus is our peace, there is no substitute. May the lost world find the peace they are looking for, in Jesus. Father God, open the eyes of the lost. Turn them from the power of Satan to You that they may be saved and share in the inheritance. In Jesus name.
Blessings to you all on this mighty cold day here in NJ…may the love of Christ warm your hearts today and may His peace fill you!
Amen
For those who went through the Leviticus study this verse reminds us that Jesus, being the perfect sacrifice, is our Peace (or Fellowship) offering.
The fellowship offering is an offering that is given to the Lord in thanksgiving for the peace which He has established when there’s been some estrangement between the worshiper and God, whether by sin, in addition to an offering of guilt, or of atonement, as an expression of thanksgiving that the relationship between the worshiper and God had been healed, and that fellowship had been restored and renewed. From Dr L Duncan’s sermon “The Sacrifice of Peace”
Praying for your requests, Shes.❤️

Thankful for the gift of Jesus here on earth. Thankful that through Him, and His blood shed on the cross, I am reconciled, in peace to God..
BUT GOD.
AMEN.
Happy Saturday, you beauts, sending some extra warm hugs, love and hugs carol the pond..❤
MERCY ❤️ – “offended by truth” If I am, what am I believing or what is in my life that isn’t truth? What am I clinging to that isn’t of God, that isn’t honoring Him? At times, I see others offended by truth, praying I recognize when I am and praying others will recognize it in themselves.
The widow of Zarephath- Elijah was sent and went, to a Gentile… Such obedience- may I learn from this.
RHONDA J – thank you for putting Goodness of God in my mind, humming it now even if out of tune
GWINETH52 – Cece Winans ❤️
CEE GEE ❤️ patience in the waiting, thank you
KAREN ELIZABETH and MARI V – praying for those entering rehab, for recovery from addiction and for salvation, that they will turn to the Lord in the midst of this hard work.
KRISTINA, LAURA DIANNE and KELLI HARRELL – thank you for your testimonies of the healing and restoration the Lord has already done, and the trusting of Him as He continues to work in your lives.
KELLI HARRELL – love this – daily recommit marriage and family to the Lord ❤️

Thank You Searching, that means a lot to me. It’s been a long road for my brother and SNL.
So grateful that Jesus made a way for us to have peace with God. I can’t imagine not having a way to be at peace with the Father, how deeply sad and depressing. Praying for all those who do not yet know and accept that peace.
Catching up this morning on all the later posts from yesterday. So many beautiful insights and honest testimonies.
Thank you everyone for praying for my BIL Doug. I probably won’t have any updates for a long time since it’s a long program. Praying he sticks with it and the Lords touches his heart.
Amen
