TRUTHSEEKER—Thank you so much for reaching out about Calvary Chapel! I am very familiar with the Calvary Chapel churches as my son-in-law was on staff at one in Puyallup, WA years ago. They are wonderful churches. Although I haven’t been able to be physically active in my church for the past couple of years because of Jacks health I am still very connected to Crosspoint Church. Our wonderful staff and my precious church family have ministered to us in countless ways! We are very blessed to have them! Merry Christmas to you and your family! ❤️

If you attend elsewhere I invite you to visit there as he is an incredible preacher.

I witnessed my fathers progression and physical diminishing through dementia and know what a difficult road that is to travel.
More prayers for you and Jack.

O Almighty Father, thank you for the Most Holy gift of your Spirit and the Most Precious gift of your Son. Thank you for being with us always and forever. I ask that you bless all my sister She’s in a most powerful and profound way this Christmastide. You know our struggles and fears. You know our weaknesses and strengths. You know the intentions of our hearts. You have already blessed each of us, your daughters, far more than we deserve. I humbly ask blessings of healing and hope, joy and fellowship, peace and prosperity for all our families in the coming new year. God bless you all, my precious sisters, and Merry Christmas!

  12. Brittany Taylor says:

I have spent this study reading everyone’s comments realizing how deep in pain & despair I’ve been that I’m not experiencing the joy and connection of God that many of you are expressing. Catching up on readings this morning & the joy of meeting Jesus someday hit me in a full body chills way it never has before – thank you God for a small Christmas miracles! & thank you all for inspiring me to pray for deeper relationship with God.

  13. Mari V says:

@Rachel, praying for Eden and her family. Praying for wisdom for the doctors!

  14. Mari V says:

The Lord is OUR KING!! He will save us! Thank YOU JESUS! So thankful for Grace DAY! So much to do today since my break just started yesterday. I had a nightmare. VERY disturbing, and it felt so real. In my dream, it felt real and was asking myself “why” is this happening and “why” did I make such decision. THEN, I woke up. Thank you Jesus! Sometimes I feel its an attack from the enemy to bring me down, BUT I remind myself WHO I belong to! LOVE you all sweet She’s. Happy SATURDAY!

  15. Rachel says:

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! So much here to pray for, so much to celebrate, so thankful that God is present with us in all of it.

LYNNE, I pray for you and Jack so often – sorry that I don’t say it here where it can encourage your heart more. I will go look for you on FB
HEIDI – HURRAY!!!!! My dad graduated from DTS when I was young. I know you are online not in person, but I have spent m.a.n.y. hours on that campus (also got caught playing in the fountain as a hot, precocious 4 year old, but that’s another story for another day ;))
MARI – So happy for you that you get these 2 weeks off and for the kindness of the gift cards! So thankful with you for this new job!

Praying for the rest of you as well, that God is near in your sorrows and your joys. If I could add to your prayer lists…the 15 yr old daughter of dear friends had a grand mal seizure Thurs out of nowhere and has been seizing almost unrelentingly since then. She is intubated in the ICU while the doctors scramble to find a cause. Please pray for Eden and her family.

  16. H Armour says:

Save us now…Our King will save! Come, O King

  17. Lynne from Alabama says:

Good morning sweet SRT sisters! Thank you so much for your prayers for Jack and I!
I realize that many of you pray that never comment but it is encouraging to see the comments that mention us by name. So many of you do that regularly like MICHELLE PATIRE, SEARCHING, SHARON JERSEY GIRL, CEE GEE, KELLY (NEO), MERCY and others. Thank you! ❤️. I just thought I would give an update. Jack’s lymphoma is growing and even though we are not treating it due to his dementia, we are seeing his oncologist again in January.
We don’t get out much and only to visit family, go to doctor appointments, and run errands. It has been a pretty lonesome holiday as Jack is pretty self-absorbed and ornery (which is the complete opposite of his normal personality).

LINDA IN NC—I pray for you constantly and know what you are going through. ❤️. May God give you the strength that you need both physically and emotionally.

SEARCHING—I’m praying for your friend whose family member is in their last days. May they come to know the Lord. I’m also praying for your two friends who have daughters in ICU (from surgery/sepsis).
May God grant strength and His perfect healing. ❤️

TERESA DONLEY—May God continue to decrease your symptoms and give you peace in this diagnosis. ❤️

GAYLE CRAIK—May God give you His wisdom in treatment options and strep and healing for your body. ❤️

SHARON, JERSEY GIRL— I’m so glad you were able to enjoy NYC! May God grant complete healing for your knee. ❤️

DEANNA RASCH—I’m so glad your husband’s surgery went well. What’s the latest on your son and his fiancé? Do you have a grandbaby yet? I know this wasn’t your plan for your son but try to find the joy in a first grandchild and try to make the best of a hard situation. ❤️

I wish I had time to mention everyone that I am praying for—for those with personal/family sickness, job loss, loss of family members, loneliness, anxiety, family members who don’t know the Lord, infertility, struggles with caregiver duties—I pray for every request listed. May God give you His strength and peace. ❤️

If any of you would like to connect on FB, I would love that. I am already connected to a few of you. Lynne Johnston Burton in Trussville AL

    Have a blessed day! ❤️❤️❤️

  18. Cheryl Blow says:

Thank you Jesus that you came to save us!

  19. Gayle Craik says:

Our Lord will save us! We are going to an alternative oncologist in Reno who does low dose chemo & immune therapy for this 2nd round of c. Lift up my daughter & her family as she is due to have her son Christmas Eve! Glory to God! Love & prayers to all you she’s! Each day is a HUGE BLESSING FROM GOD!

  20. Cee Gee says:

Yea, KELLY (NEO) – you inspired mevto read the chapter. One other verse stood out to me and I include notes fron Vines Expository Bible (v.24):
“Isaiah lists the roles Jesus has in our lives (Is. 33:22): Judge, Lawgiver, King, and, best of all, Savior.

And that kingdom will have no sick people (33:24). They will be forgiven. We will not have to repent of sin anymore when we get to heaven.” All hail King Jesus!

    MICHELLE PATIRE – ❤

HEIDI- Outstanding! We can all take a deep breath with you today!

SHARON, JERSEY GIRL – YAY! Thankful God heard our prayers and you were able to enjoy that time.

SEARCHING – I missed mentioning your loved one’s friends and their heavy hearts over their loved one in last days. Praying God is seen and accepted before it is too late!

Praying for each of you, especially those battling illness or acting as caregiver. Special hugs to each of you! May we each see our Savior as He is as we celebrate with our families or in the quiet of the day for those who will be alone. You are never truly alone! ❤

  21. Gwineth52 says:

Good Morning Shes. Day 21. Grace Day. Ah, how sweet the sound…Grace. Dedicated time & space in our community study for intentional rest & reflection. Even in the last push for “preferred perfection”. Likely, physically or psychically , our journey to Bethlehem & Christmas is quickening. My prayer is that we bless one another for what we, “in the vineyard”, have left undone, maybe more than the things actually done! God sees us. Knows us. Hears us before we even ask. And loves us without question. For simply being. Not always doing. Yes, a weary world awaits. As it was foretold. Listen for the heavenly chorus. O Emmanuel, King of Nations, Morning Star,Key of David, Root of Jesse, Lord & Leader of the House of Israel & Wisdom draws near. Yes, indeed, be blessed sweet spirits.

  22. Sharon, Jersey Girl says:

@Kelly Neo – After seeing your comment, I too read all of Isaiah 33. It was a blessing!

A few verses that stood out to me: Isaiah 33:2 – “O LORD be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.” This prayer just about says it all!…Isaiah 33:5-6 – “The LORD is exalted…He will be our sure foundation…a rich store of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.” And the last verse of the chapter, an everlasting blessing – “the sins of all who dwell there will be forgiven.”! The LORD is our King, He will save us. Amen and Amen!

@Linda in NC… @Lynne from Alabama…and @all other sisters that are 24/7 care givers – May the LORD, our God be your strength every morning, and your salvation in time of distress. God bless you all!

@Tina – you have such a way with words! ❤️

Praying that each of my dear sweet sisters has a blessed Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. Whether you are with family, friends or all alone – may the peace of God be upon you and may each of us take time out to reflect on the Reason for the season – the LORD is exalted, He dwells on high!

Thank you for your prayers! I made it to NYC and back with minimal pain – it was so much better than what I expected. Your prayers were answered, mine too!

A blessed Christmas Eve, Eve to you all! ❤️❤️

  23. Rhonda J. says:

We just never know what life will bring. I am so glad I have a Jesus that will provide all I need to get through. He is our King, the ultimate judge. I shall remain close to Him all the days of my life. Winds may blow, rain will come, but my house is built on solid ground. The lifegiver, the redeemer, every knee shall bow to Him.

When I pray it seems like the names just keep coming and I am soon wrapping it up to include the nation and world. Lord, let everyone know you by name. Let it be a world with none of this confusion and pain. Well, it will be in the millennium and from then on to eternity. What a hope that is. Lets share that hope with all we come around. Be a light sisters, have an impact for the kingdom, that is my prayer!

Would you pray that my friend Nicole will get a stirring in her heart to join us for church tomorrow or reach out to me or my leader?!

Have a merry, merry weekend and Christmas celebrations whether big or small! (my husband picked up overtime work on Christmas day, so I will have a quiet morning and we do not have any plans.

For the moms striving hard to please all the kiddos, remember it almost gets impossible, the memories last longer than the presents! Create special traditions like a special gift to open on Christmas eve (pajamas or ornaments), a yearly puzzle to work together (we have had the same one for 20 years!) or make cookies together. Or we like the present game where you draw numbers and get to pick gifts in order. Hot chocolate and a fav Christmas movie and snuggles. The time will fly by and they will be grown up before you know it!

  24. AG says:

Hoping everyone is having a merry Christmas with their family this weekend! Prayers for those who are struggling in this season.

  25. Rhonda J. says:

@Linda- oh wow, prayers for you my dear sister! Glad you have lots of family and friends to help. It has to be challenging and sad, as we never plan on these things being part of our future. But God!

  26. Linda in NC says:

So thankful as we celebrate this Advent season that Jesus is everything we need now and in eternity! Even so come Lord Jesus!
This has been a busy season for me but not because of the Christmas rush. With the strength of the Lord we’ve made it thru 3 ER visits, another round of covid, and my husband’s mounting confusion and weakness. I’m now a 24 hour caregiver which brings it’s challenges. We do have home health care with PT, OT, nurse and speech therapy. Can’t do all this without my wonderful family and the prayers of all of you SHE’s and wonderful friends!! I’m looking forward to spending tomorrow to celebrating with my family and a quiet Christmas day.
Back at the first of the month we we’re blessed by a visit from our 4 grandsons, 2 of their wives and 2 of newest greatgrands! Double blessed that none of them caught covid!
Sorry for such a long post but it’s been awhile. I read and pray for each request. Be blessed my sweet friends❤❤❤❤ Have a wonderful weekend

Thank you KELLY (NEO) for sharing those verses ❤️ and loved your comment to HEIDI yesterday – to focus more on her transformation rather than grades. A good reminder to not lose focus of what’s most important, and wisdom to know what that is.
