Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.

I’m so grateful for this study and all the She’s. Please pray for me as I resigned from my job in September and then received a layoff notice days later. I am now a stay at home Mom to my two young boys and the adjustment has not been easy. That are 19mo apart. My anxiety has been at all all time high and I struggled with dark thoughts. Things are slowly getting better with anxiety needs and seeing a counselor but prayers please I will find my rhythm and purpose to glorify God in this season . Staying home is such a privilege but it has been so hard. I want to find true peace and joy in it, and not be so hard on myself as a mother. I hope that’s not too vulnerable to say here. I just want want to do God’s will.
@Mercy- I’m believing someone that reads your comment that has the same sort of side business can give you some advice and guide you. Maybe even repeat on a busier day! I’m sure they would love to share knowledge through email connection or something! It is definitely scary, I did it, and I had no experience, but I knew God was leading! Prayers for this!
@GramsieSue- I am so so sorry you all are having to endure all this. I pray for you all, just know we care and wish we could help. Stay strong, God is good so there must be some good somehow coming from this trial.
Apparently I typed SUE after GRAMSIESUE… duh!
GRAMSIESUE SUE… your SRT sisters are praying for you both!
❤️
Happy Saturday! I spent today getting caught up as, due to life circumstances, I had fallen way behind. I’m really enjoying this study. ❤️
Good morning she’s
Always a pleasure for me to see your names. If only you know what a comfort that has been for me throughout the years.
KELLY (NEO): thank you dear for checking up. I did not end up taking the offer as they wanted me full time in office and it’s quite a commute, so my current company offered to review a match this coming February, so i am waiting. My uncle’s cancer is spreading and with chemo treatment, I heard from my mom that he is weak and has a live in caregiver for that. His wife and him has grown so bitter against each other. It was getting ugly. So sad. Thank you so much for checking on us.❤
LAURA❤,SEARCHING❤.
Ladies, i am asking for your prayers about a side business I am doing. I will be launching a small shop and some products. The ideas keep on changing. I have been so paralyzed with fear. Could you please pray for courage, devine solutions and success for this side venture? We struggle financially at times and God has put this in my heart to pursue. The fear and the steep learning curve has caused much delay and minimal progress :((
I just want to cry some day. I am very new to this and will be doing it by myself. I am scared.
Thank you she’s for your beautiful hearts and faithfulness.
May God bless you and families with a lovely weekend.❤
What a wonderful study. Loved it so much. Praying for each of you this morning and your requests. Lord help remember that in this crazy world and with everything that each of us has going on, that you are in control. Love to all you precious ladies.❤️
Happy Saturday sweet She’s! It was a chilly 37° when I woke up. It looks like the weather is now caught up to what it normally is here in Northern California. Thank you for those who have been praying for my sweet friend, who is struggling, mentally, and emotionally. We are going for a long walk in about an hour. It should be a little bit warmer by then. @ Searching, thank you so much for praying for finances. I’m trusting and believing. @Kelly (NEO) thank you so much for praying. It’s my youngest, brother, and wife (my SIL) they have not found jobs, but they have some leads. I know this is hard on them as my brother is living here, my SIL is with her daughter, and my nephew with his auntie. I know this is hard on all of them. Having my brother, here has been a blessing, even when he accidentally opens the sliding glass door and sits off the LOUD alarm. I’m going to be transparent here again as I feel this is a safe place. Please pray for MY attitude towards my mom. I struggle being nagged at. Please trust me when I say that I do MY BEST not to nag my own kids. Asking for prayer for my heart, my mind, my mouth, and especially my attitude. I had a written out a long message here, but decided that God knows the details and I’m just asking for prayer from my sweet She’s.
I’m so wrapped up in what’s going on with Steve…MRI showed a stroke, and blood clots in his lungs. They are running a TEE test on his heart Monday to see if the Staph infection is in his heart valve. Something is “showering” the infection into other parts of his body. If it’s in his heart valve he will have to have surgery to remove the valve and replace it. I’m scared. He’s only 60.
But we are in one of the best hospitals in the country. Thankful for that.
Our youngest daughter came and gave him a beard trim yesterday. Thankful for that.
He’s finally eating again. Thankful for that.
He’s regaining strength. Thankful for that.
I have friends all over the world praying. Thankful for that.
God is in control. Thankful for that.
Prayers for so many of you this beautiful morning.
Hugs ❤️
So thankful that we serve a God who is mighty, strong, and can powerful but He is also faithful, loving and kind. What a privileged we have to approach Him daily and to have conversations with the Creator of the Universe!
Praying for all of you! I know this can be a tough time of the year. I lost my mom and dad a year apart. My dad died on 12/12/19. A year later and after my mom passed away, the Lord brought a wonderful young man to our family who married my oldest daughter. His birthday is Dec 12th. And on 12/12/12, my youngest granddaughter was born. Beauty for ashes! God is good! I celebrate because I know my dad and mom are in heaven, and the birthdays of two very special people.
God is good!
I never realized before the reading of this passage this week how similar the words and tone are to Jesus’ model prayer (The Lord’s Prayer) – so very beautiful and peace instilling.
LOLLY REGAN – I am praying for you! I have been in a similar situation. Just BE STILL , pour your feelings out to God, and WAIT on Him. May your faith increase and your discontent be replaced with that peace and stability you crave. I am one of those creatures, too! ❤
SEARCHING – Oh, no! Praying for that sweet person to be stable enough to endure a transplant and praying for that family and medical team. Also for the family of the potential donor. ❤
I have to give a shout of praise for unexpected and much needed favor yesterday. I have been limping along with a stove for a while (only a few years old, but with multiple bad issues) and our son texted me about one yesterday that was leas than $300! Needless to say I didn’t get to spend the day at rest as planned, but so worth the work and I can rest today.
Praying for all you beautiful SHES on this and each day. Thank you for blessing my life! ❤
A blessed Saturday to all!
Pray for me!
❤️
Good morning, sweet SRT sisters! Thank you all so much for your prayers!
KELLY (NEO)—Thank you for checking on my sweet friend Gina. She just finished three rounds of chemo for her ovarian cancer and is scheduled for surgery on Dec. 11th. She has the sweetest spirit about her illness.
LAURA DIANNE, SHARON JERSEY GIRL, ALEIDA and all others with prodigal children—May God give you peace and wisdom in your situation and your children come to know the Lord.
LAUREN GW— Praise the Lord that your husband is getting help! Continued prayers!
GRAMMIESUE—How is Steve doing and how are you holding up?
LINDA IN NC—I’m so sorry that things with your husband are declining! I definitely feel your pain and am praying that you will have the strength you need.
SEARCHING—Prayers for your friend’s daughter. May she get well enough for the transplant. Praying you can find your lost item too.
MICHELLE PATIRE, RHONDA J, and others with lost family—May they turn their hearts to the Lord and may you be strong when they are disrespectful of your faith.
I recently mentioned a four month old twin son of one of Jack’s former students. The baby’s name is Banks and he has a brain tumor. Please pray for this little fella and his sweet family. He has been in and out of the hospital and has had multiple surgeries.
They can treat the tumor but have to keep stopping his treatments because of seizures and fluid on his brain. Lots of prayers are needed.
There are so many of you that I am praying for every day and I am always praying over each of your requests. What a blessing each of you are to me! ❤️❤️❤️
Greatness. Power. Glory. Majesty. Splendor. All describe our everlasting God, our heavenly Father. I try to envision God, but as hard as I try I can’t because He is far greater, far more beautiful, far – far more holy than anyone or anything I have ever known in this life. What will it be like to one day stand before Him? I can imagine that I will fall to my knees in awe! I am so thankful that our God allows us to know Him through His word and through the presence of His Holy Spirit – how blessed we are to be called the children of God!!
Praying for all of your requests as I read them. @Brandi – 10 years of praying for us all, wow! I have prayed sporadically over the years for my sisters here but just a few months back started a separate journal of all my SRT sisters prayer requests. Now I can continue to go back and pray and also mark them as they are answered. Thank you for your faithful prayers!
@Michelle – continuing to pray for your family’s relationships with each other. Families can be messy (I speak from experience!) but we love them, pray for them and try to be the best witness we can of God’s mercy, love and grace.
@Brandi – Elizbeth, NJ – that’s about 43 minutes south of me, I’m in Ramsey – we’d be “neighbors”!…continued prayers for wisdom & guidance.
Have a blessed Saturday sisters – hugs to you all! ❤️
So thankful for the opportunity to celebrate friends and family in this season! Thank you Lord for the love of friends and family, thank you Lord for the means to host and travel, thank you Lord for the ability to be served and to serve, thank you Lord for the joy and peace and rest in my heart! Your faithfulness endures forever! Amen
GM She’s, Happy Saturday! I am burrowed under a blanket this morning, it is chilly in SWF this morning! But the sun is out, and we have our small group at Panera here in a bit. The book is so good, I highly recommend it “Free of Me” by Sharon Hoode Miller. It’s all about taking the focus off of ourselves and putting it on God and people! So powerful in a world full of selfies and “my truth” and pride. Let us know that God is the only true master of the universe, and we should worship Him and follow his guidance in all things, all ways. He is the truth, the light, the way! Lord I want to please you, I want to be a light for you! Help us in this wayward world that wants to please themselves. Thank you for loving us when we were prideful and loving the world. Reveal yourself to our friends and family, that they come to you and submit their lives Lord, that they see the power we have in you and ever-lasting life!! Amen.
Amen
Amen ❤️ thank you @Searching. I spent a good bit of time yesterday talking about things and praying with a friend in person. Thank you for continued prayers – as well as @Rhonda J ❤️
God bless you, Shes!
I am so grateful to have a God who is ruler over all! AT times I hear a still, small voice saying “Do you trust me?” and I do, Lord. No matter what. Because you are head above all things – praise Your Name!
Thank you MERCY, for your beautiful words over me and my family situation. It brought tears to my eyes. I appreciate all of you who pray so faithfully for my family, a family you don’t know, but care about anyway. What a beautiful picture of the kingdom of God. Have a blessed day today!
Amen and amen, TINA ❤️
BRANDI – thank you for your ongoing commitment in praying for your sisters here, 10 years! ❤️
And KELLY (NEO) ❤️ love your consistent follow up on past requests!! Thank you!
MERCY ❤️- seconding your prayer for LAURA DIANNE’s children and for the Lord to draw them near. Thank you and yes, I know that God knows where my lost item is – praying daily He will return it or lead me to the right place to find it.
MARI V – praying for daughter’s dental and overall health (as the two are linked) and that her needs can be met soon. ❤️
MICHELLE PATIRE ❤️ praying for your family, especially siblings, to see truth rather than believe lies. And for the Lord’s guidance for you in praying rather than judging. There’s a very thin line between those two. Reminds me of the thin line between prayer requests and gossiping – which is often cloaked as concern, we need to pray for so-and-so, bless her heart, did you hear that she did This, and also I heard that …
TANYA EVANS – thankful you were able to share Thanksgiving with someone. Praying for other connections this season and in the new year ❤️
DEANNA RASCH – praying for focus, and recall of knowledge for the exam
MARTHA HIX ❤️
CEE GEE ❤️
Friend’s critically ill daughter – please continue to pray. In need of a transplant and too sick for surgery.
“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours.”
May we be content with our role as Your children, and want more than what You have given.
MERCY – (maybe I missed it) what did you do about the new job offer you got in September? How is your uncle and the cancer battle?
MARI V – have your BIL and SIL found jobs yet?
TAYLOR WOLD – how is your brother?
COLLEEN DEVEAU – how’s your dad’s recovery coming?
LYNN FROM AL – how’s Gina? Praying for you and Jack too.
Reminder needed – I’m studying for a professional exam and I need to recenter my focus on Him – otherwise, the stress and anxiety and pressure are too much. He has all in His hands.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours.
Yours, O Lord.
AMEN.
SELAH.
Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all.
You, O Lord.
AMEN.
SELAH.
In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.
Thank you, OUR God, with praises and we glorify your name, The name above every other name.
BUT GOD..
AMEN.
SELAH.
Happy Saturday, wrapped in extra warming love and hugs, dear hearts.❤️
