  1. Teresa Donley says:

I am always uplifted by all of your comments on our readings. I’m also uplifted by the trust that is shown when you ask for prayer for the circumstances in your lives. It is a privilege to pray for each of you by name, and to ask for God’s presence and help for you and your loved ones. Today, I’ve prayed for ALEIDA, GAYLE R, SHARON JERSEY GIRL, RITA ANN, RHONDA J, HEATHER LANDERS, LYNN FROM AL, CANDACE SMITH, MARI V.
May we all keep this verse in our hearts: “When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. “ Psalm 94:19

  2. Teresa Donley says:

HEATHER LANDERS – my heart breaks for all you and your family are facing as a result of Satans stronghold over your husband. I’m praying that he chooses to go to the faith based rehab, and dedicates himself to it to do the work necessary to break alcoholism and addiction. I pray for the various legal issues he is facing, that they will be a wake-up call to what this is doing to him. I pray he will believe in Jesus as his Savior and lean on Him to provide healing.

  3. Kimberly Z says:

@Heather – praying for you sweet girl. Even during these unthinkably hard times God has you and daughters best interests at heart. Praying you continue to find faith in God even during these hard times. I know addiction struggles are tough and I pray your husband can work through it. He sees you guys and he knows your battles. Hang in there.

  4. Mercy says:

@RHONDA J: yes I totally agree with you. Satisfaction is what will sustain us. Thank you for your insight and wisdom. Praying for your pain relief and your leadership in the chronic pain group, jail ministry. Bless your dear heart!
@MARI V: praying for strength as you prepare the classroom and the teacher whose mom just passed away. May God bless your relationship working together.
@LYNN FROM AL: thank you for praying and thinking of us. We love you Lynn. Praying for Jack and the right course of treatment.

@HEATHER LANDERS: I am so heartbroken reading your story. I am so sorry that some struggles are so hard. Father Lord God, we come into agreement with Heather and our sisters in prayers. We pray that by the power of the blood of the Lord Jesus, we declare this bondage of addiction shall be cut off from Heather’s husband. We pray for full restoration for her household, especially her husband. We believe that by your Word, every dead bones would come back to life, every dead thing will be resurrected to its fullness and mended the way that YOU have planned. For You Lord God has a good plan for Heather and her family, a plan of hope and not of evil. We come against the spirit of addiction, of violence/abuse, of trauma, of oppression by the power of the blood of the Lord Jesus. We come into agreement with our sisters to pray for Heather and we declare that any forms of addiction bondage shall be loosed from her husband and their family. We pray for speedy healing, recovery, a sound mind, and full restoration to come to Heather, her husband and her daughter, any form of trauma, fear, emotional/psychological wounds shall be healed by your grace. We thank you Lord that You are the God who calls things that are not as if they were, You are the God who calls dead bones to come back to Life and to form an army for your Kingdom Glory. You are the Resurrection and the Life, apart from You there is no others. May You show yourself as your Word says in Heather’s situation, that we all shall see as witness and magnify Your Name. I pray that the years that the locusts and canker worms have eaten, let all be restored for the glory and the display of Your Power, based on the authority and the quickening of Your Word. May You send your Word and heal this situation. May You come to Heather and her daughter, husband, and take the evil yoke off, turn things around so they shall find rest and wholeness through You. We give You all the praise, honor and the glory. We thank You that You said nothing is impossible to those who believe. When we ask, You shall answer, we knock and You shall open the door and make a way. We believe as if this has been done. By faith we receive the reward of the things we hope for… for Heather and her household. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we pray. Amen.

Be blessed dear sisters. Hugs and blessings to you all.

    ♥️

  6. Cassandra Austin says:

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. – Romans 5:1-5

  7. Rhonda J says:

Prayers for you Heather. Jesus knows, and sees you and the pain you are going through. It may not feel like it, I’m sure the situation feels so hopeless, thank you for coming to us for prayer.

Lynn- praying for this hard time.

  8. Kristen says:

Seeing the requests and praying!Lynn from Alabama thank you! It means a lot! @Kelly Neo thank you for asking about Jan. She went in to have another procedure this week. She had a port at one time, but they put something in her arm. I can’t remember what they call this, but it was causing additional problems. She still needs prayer. Her daughter is a match, but they aren’t allowing her to get the surgery. This would be her second transplant. The first was her heart. Thank you for praying and asking!

  9. Traia Landrum says:

Heather, I am so sorry to hear this. My husband is also an alcoholic, and though he has been sober for the past 20 years, I have come to understand the power that addiction can have over our lives. What I have learned though is greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. God will be victorious, no matter what. I will be praying for you and for your family ❤️

  10. Traci Gendron says:

HEATHER – I’m so sorry you are going through all of this. I was in two different relationships with an alcoholic and an addict. I went to Al-anon and it literally was the best thing I’ve done. It taught me so much about addiction. You have to find a good group though. Some just stay stuck and complain about the situation. Others were really working the program and I learned so much from these wonderful ladies. I pray that God gives you the wisdom how to handle such a difficult disease.

  11. Mari V says:

Good morning sweet She’s. I’ve been very busy old lady trying to get (one of two) kindergarten classrooms ready. It’s been such a week. I’m so excited about my new position as a paraprofessional in kindergarten. My favorite! I love kindergarten! I love being with these sweet little ones! Our kindergarten teacher had a family emergency and unfortunately her mama passed away. Please pray for this teacher. Please pray that God will show me how to come along side her to support her as we will be working very close since I’m in her classroom.

  12. Mari V says:

LYNNE FROM ALABAMA, after reading today’s scripture, yours is the first comment I read, and I was moved to tears, and I feel so touched and loved. How sweet of you to pray for all of us and mention us by name. God must’ve put it in your heart as I had a horrible nightmare. And then I read your comment. Thank you Lynne.

  13. Lynne from Alabama says:

    Good morning sweet SRT sisters!

KRISTEN, LAURA, MARI V, HEIDI, SOPHIE MARIE, LAUREN GW, TERRI, CANDACE SMITH, COLLEEN DEVEAU, JENNY L, RHONDA J, THERESA NELSON, MERCY, ALLISON BENTLEY, ALEIDA, and so many others—I am lifting you up by name to our precious Lord who knows intimately each of your requests. I am also praying for other sweet sisters who (like me) are dealing with husbands with dementia/Alzheimer’s (LINDA in NC and NANCY S). I have an urgent need. Jack has an illeostomy along with his lymphoma and dementia. We are not treating the lymphoma due to the how difficult it would be with his dementia. The “ostomy bag” is a huge problem. I won’t give any graphic details. We are looking into the possibility of reversing his ostomy. Please pray for wisdom for his doctors and for me. This would be a huge improvement in our quality of life if it can safely be done.

I love each and every one of you and am praying for you every day!

  14. Cheryl Blow says:

Heather, praying for your husband, you, and your family. My heart hurts for you. I can’t imagine how hard this is for all of you! I know God can deliver.

The righteous shall live by faith! That is the only way we can live! So thankful for God’s mercy and His grace!

  15. Lynne from Alabama says:

    HEATHER LANDERS— Psalm 94:16–19

    ESV

16 Who rises up for me against the wicked?
Who stands up for me against evildoers?
17 if the Lord had not been my help,
my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.
18 When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.
19 When the cares of my heart are many,
    your consolations cheer my soul.

I’m so sorry your family is going through this! This scripture always ministers to me when I am getting overwhelmed with what is going on. Please know that this sisterhood is lifting you up. May our awesome God work in your husband and give you strength and peace!

  16. Candace Smith says:

Please co tinue praying for my sister and BIL. He is still passing out and he fell into a fire and has 1st degree burns on his hands and part of his body. My sister is stressed out and there seems to be no hope in sight for a diagnosis and treatment for whatever is causing this.

  17. Karen Y says:

HEATHER, as I read about your current situation Luke 4:18 came to mind:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.
I’m praying the Holy Spirit will soften your husband’s heart and open his eyes to accept freedom in Christ during his stay at faith based rehab. Praying He will comfort and strengthen you as you wait during the process.

  18. Donna Wolcott says:

Dear Heather, I will lift you and your family up in prayer . This is a difficult road to walk. Please continue to lean into Jesus and ask Him to hold you in His hands and under His wings. Dear sister sending hugs and prayers for some peace.

  19. Aimee D-R says:

Father hearmour prayers, restore our faith, fill us with the Holy Spirit afresh and forgive our sins. In Jesus name, Amen

  20. Heather Landers says:

I’ve been part of the SRT sisterhood for a short time. During that time, I have read prayer requests and responses to requests and have been blessed for it. I did recently ask for prayers on behalf of my family when my cousin’s husband passed. However I have never asked for prayers for my husband, my daughter and myself. I’m asking now. My husband of 23 years is an alcoholic and addicted to painkillers. Satan has got a hold of him and destroyed so much of our lives. Since April of this year, my husband has lost his job, gone to rehab for 25 days, relapsed, got arrested for threatening my life, faces felony charges for those threats, gone through another detox only to get arrested again for DWI and is in jail still. Prior to the arrest he agreed to long term faith based rehab. The judge has ordered him to go into that rehab this Sunday or stay in jail. Only God knows what each day brings. I’m requesting that you lift my family up in prayer. I know there’s a purpose to this pain, but I’m struggling.

  21. Rhonda J says:

Theresa- Prayers for your trip next week, and for God to calm your nerves. I get so nervous speaking in front of groups, actually I guess it is the number one fear. But if God leads you to it, he will lead you through it! Just remember that!

  22. Rhonda J says:

    Good Morning and Happy Saturday!

It is so touching when you see (read) people (friends) raising you up to our Heavenly Father! it really is crazy, that we have that ability, the mercy bestowed to us, that we can pray for ourselves and others, and He hears, he listens, he gives us what we need. He gives us what we need. Jesus actually went to the cross, suffered and died to set us up for this. That is an amazing love that we can’t even grasp. It’s a love that changes us when we do understand it. A love that surpasses all understanding! Amen, it sure does. It still keeps amazing me, the more and more I read scripture. You know, I saw a memory on fb yesterday from 10 years ago saying I was going for an MRI hopefully to get some answers for my back, that someone as young as myself (ha), shouldn’t have back pain every day. That was 5 years after the back surgery. So now it has been 19 years..which seems crazy. But God sustains me. I am actually very blessed of how I am able to be so active and do so much. And MORE IMPORTANTLY I have a job to do for the kingdom of God. That’s why I’m here, that should be my focus. I wouldn’t have compassion for people with chronic pain if I didn’t have chronic pain. We can’t complain about how God gives us a ministry, or a passion. Isn’t it often from what we have been through? Any hoo, I am so grateful for your prayers…I would love to be healed by God, instantly or slowly, but if not, here I am God, do with me as you will. Help me not to complain!

Mari V- I am so happy for you, I can just imagine your sweet personality as a parents dream for their little ones, calming their fears of their babies’ first year!

Sara D- Excited for you as you begin your transition as well.

Mercy- Sounds like you do so much already, but usually our own business is something that gives us satisfaction! But don’t give yourself too much stress and business. (I know how that goes with my self owned biz!)

RHONDA J- praying this morning for your pain and asking God to lead you if he wants you to teach another Bible study in the fall.

ALEIDA- praying for your time with Victor this week.

KATIE L- continuing to pray for your custody battle with your Mother in Law

I’m getting ready for a business trip this next week. I’ll be taking my daughter as I’m traveling to the same town my parents live in and this gives them bonus time while I’m working. Id appreciate any prayers for our trip and for the class I’m going to be teaching while we’re there. I’ve spent hours and hours preparing this summer for it, but I’m still very nervous as I’ve never taught anything like this before.

  24. Kelly (NEO) says:

ALLISON BENTLEY – the words we speak are indeed hard to control (James 3:1-12). I know that I try to not say anything that I would not say if the person was standing right next to me. Praying you surrender your tongue to the Holy Spirit and listen for His wisdom to speak life.

    TIA WATKINS ❤️

    ❤️

  26. Searching says:

Lord, I pray that you will strengthen and increase my faith.

ALLISON BENTLEY – praying for you as you are under conviction of gossiping/judging and as you navigate this special friendship. It is SO easy to gossip and SO difficult to change our behavior and it helps me to remember that our words can be encouraging or destructive, which do I choose? Praying for the right words, and that your friend will also be convicted – so that when you do have the words to talk with her, it will be received and understood as a step of faith and closeness in your walk with the Lord. I have a card on my fridge as a daily reminder – In a world where you can be anything, Be Kind.

MARI V – exciting news on the meet and greet. Praying!

RHONDA J – praying for pain relief.

  27. Tia Watkins says:

Hey there! So, I’m kinda new here, and honestly, I wasn’t really anticipating a grace day, but hey, thanks a bunch! This is really nice, just wanted to say.
