Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Galatians 2:20

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
—Galatians 2:20

    Amen

  2. Kyle Hopkins says:

I find The Message translation convicting- “I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central…..” that’s the hardest part – the ego. Only with God’s strength and guidance can I die to my ego….

  3. Mandi D says:

Dorothy, thank you for always sharing the devotionals in your Bible. I love reading them

  4. Claire B says:

Searching. Thank you I was so confused last night when I started.

  5. Lehua K. says:

So neat that today’s verse lines up with YouVersion’s verse of the day ❤️

Praying for good health, safety and peace for you and your loved ones ❤️❤️ blessings to you on this beautiful Saturday.

FAYE WASSON – you’ll see 2 Day 17’s on the app. The one titled Our Eternal Victory is for Day 19. The 2 unofficial studies are first Psalms of Gratitude and then Psalms of Rest. HEIDI made a great suggestion to scroll down through the plans to locate and bookmark these 2 ahead of time. If they are not available come Monday (not sure if site is changing during this break), then I’m following Heidi and doing Kingdom of God (one of 3 suggested by SRT).

  7. Caroline Bridges says:

We get to start our own adventures on Monday, or just take a break.

  8. Rhonda J. says:

@ faye and others – We decided on Psalms of Gratitude. (I can’t remember
    the name of the 2nd)

  9. Dorothy says:

So as I have mentioned before the Bible I use to do my SRT devotionals is a devotional Bible, and for today’s verse it has a devotion. Under the “Reflection” part of the devotion it has; “You will experience the power to leave your old self behind when you speak the Word to yourself as the apostle Paul did. Choose to walk in God’s confidence and not your own anymore. The Word of God renews your mind and reminds you of who you really are in Christ. Step into your new life, and become who God create you to be!”
Faye, Day 19 is listed as Day 17 and it’s a second Day 17, figured that out. The next study is the Book of Amos.
Sisters, be blessed and step into that new life God created for you and become who He wants you to be!!!

  10. Faye Wasson says:

My app did not give me Day 19 (Friday) post, so i don’t know which study was picked for study and community for the next 3 weeks. Can someone update please? Thanks!

  11. Heidi says:

SO grateful the work has already been done.. I don’t have to wake up everyday and figure out how to separate myself from my sinful flesh- the cross did it. :) It’s dead and gone. NOW is the privileged task of daily placing my focus on things above – eternal, lasting, life-giving things and intentionally stepping into how I can live Christ out in my family, my work, my school, with friends, with strangers… Thank you, LORD for what you’ve done!!!!

  12. Terri Baldwin says:

    Another great study!

  13. Kristen says:

@Erica Chiarelli I was just thinking of typing about this being the verse of the day too! Amen to what you wrote!

  14. Erica Chiarelli says:

I love when God REALLY shows me a verse… Galatians 2.20 is our verse here as well as the verse of the day in the YouVersion app!
I pray that I would let Jesus be King of me and Lord of my life… That I would die to myself! His way is higher and better!!

  15. Searching says:

HEIDI – the thought-provoking words you shared on Philippians 4:13, thank you. One thing that came to my mind was forgiveness, probably because I ended up on a family member’s bad side (and to some extent, their family) for saying no this week. The human part of me is angry the question was even asked and would like to wash my hands of all this. But I know that forgiveness rather than anger will be letting Christ’s work in my life show through, so with the Holy Spirit’s help, I will do it – on my own, it might be never.

LYNNE FROM AL – thank you, sister, for the update. You and Jack are often in my prayers. Praying for respite options and praying you will have the time and energy to also take care of yourself. I only know what it is like to share in caregiving and my heart goes out to you as you show your love for Jack 24/7. Praying for his dementia and health, and for your strength and patience. ❤️

    DOROTHY ❤️

KELLY (NEO) – you will be missed in our unofficial Psalms studies. Please say Hi when you pop in for prayer request updates. ❤️

Happy to see you, MARTHA HIX.

Missing GRAMSIESUE, CHURCHMOUSE, ERB, both ANGIE’s, JENNIFER LOVES JESUS, SKY HILTON, FOSTER MAMA (thanks for letting us know you had to take a break) and many others.

  16. Danielle B says:

@kelly (neo) you will be missed in the next study. I always appreciate your added thoughts

  17. Rhonda J. says:

Such a beautiful verse when you really “get it!” Good morning She’s!

That was a great study to follow the Lent season! What a gift we have received! When you get it you get it! Let’s not take the gift of Jesus for granted one day. Renew our mind Lord, that the eyes of our hearts will be enlightened. We are rescued from the dark to the light, from death to everlasting life! May our hearts align with your heart Lord.

Let this great love show in my heart daily, the fruits of the Spirit be evident. Let me see people as you see them. Give me compassion. Give me empathy. Let me see their struggle. What is your calling for me Lord? Help me to seek you in all things, with all deeds. Give me your manna for each day. May my hope always be set on you! You are my inheritance!

  18. Candace Smith says:

    ❤️

  19. Kelly (NEO) says:

Lord, help me to kill my “old” self and walk in the life you died for me to have.

LYNNE FROM AL – praying you and Jack feel the tangible presence of Jesus in this season. May He grant your request for Jack’s personality. Let others help you so that they may be Jesus to you.

    DOROTHY ❤️

Not sure if I’ll be joining you for the Psalms…I have a study (an actual book) on 2 Peter that I’d like to finish (started it in 2020). I may pop in though to check on prayer requests ❤️

  20. Allie M says:

  21. Aimee D-R says:
