Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Micah 6:8

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Mankind, he has told each of you what is good
and what it is the LORD requires of you:
to act justly,
to love faithfulness,
and to walk humbly with your God.
—Micah 6:8

    Lord God watch over us as we enter into Holy Week to celebrate the Your Son’s RESURRECTION and the Holy Spirit. Remind us to humble ourselves and love those around us no matter the circumstances. Christ Jesus we are indebted to You and will NEVER be able to pay back what You did for us. But we hope to be more like You every day as we study and learn more of God’s Word. Holy Spirit come and dwell in us, help to “keep us on the straight and narrow”, to FOLLOW GOD’S WORD, to become closer to God and Christ. Our concerns and joys are many Father and You know them all, You know the happy, sad, worrisome, elation, and anxiousness we have, and You Almighty God can take care of it ALL. We thank You for having “broad shoulders” to bare the loads we give You. Though we DO NOT ALWAYS show it we love You and worship You. Amen.

    Be blessed and turn it all over to God, Christ and the Holy Spirit.

    @Searching–AMEN! YES!
    @CEE GEE- I am doing the study on Elijah…it is Amazing!! I have learned so much!
    @AZ Walker-Oh thanks for telling that about the Unfolding Podcasts!! I have not listened!! Since I broke my foot I have ridden my bike which is my usual habit of Friday Podcast!! I finally got to ride my electric bike today and listened to SRT podcast for this week! It is so good. Crazy how we see the rise and fall of kingdoms, all on the faith of God…yet…still we are as a country forgetting our true KING!!
    @Kelly- My grandson comes Monday night!! We are SO so excited. Please pray that he can receive what he needs from this visit to encourage him and that he sees the love we have for God, and that will stick with him in years to come! I tend to try to feed it into my son, and family by direct monologue, which most often may not work. They want to see it in my actions. So I’m going to make a habit of reading my bible at the table, where I usually read off my computer during my SRT readings.
    @Kimbery Z…I can’t remember what you said to me yesterday (laughing face, my nephew would say “old!!”
    @Mari V- Love your commitment and love for your two kiddos! You have come through some storms and the sun is shining!
    I also love the people that just leave a heart, that way your names are also on our prayers!
    @Victoria E- I never see any of your posts… sad face. Hope that little boy is thriving and you are finding joy in him!

    I have volunteered on the prayer team at church a month or more back, and tomorrow I am going up to be there for alter call to pray with people! It’s a little scary because you don’t know what people will request, and I want to say the right thing!(Prayers please!) But I know the HS will speak for me in faith! Our church is growing and we really show that prayer is a priority which is amazing, and I want to step out in faith! That is one thing I can do now with a broken foot! :) I want ALL GlORY to God. Everything is for his glory! We thank you heavenly Father that you are all-mighty, yet loving to your children. We can be so far away, and yet, when we turn to you, you forgive us with your mighty mercy and grace. Amen. Let’s give that grace to others, it only takes an open heart. Lets stand firm on God’s law, but also give grace to others because we were once them. We all fail and stray, but God, He wants no one to perish to eternal fire. Plant those seeds my she’s. Use social media for good, make that impact. That is why we are still here, telling our testimony, sharing Jesus’ love, and planting seeds!

    Also, I started reading the second book in the King’s series…”Song of Redemption” by Lynn Austin. It continues the story of King Hezekiah. It’s fun to read a fiction story surrounding the truth of the Bible with lots of scripture and application. I recommend!

    .. to act justly, to love faithfulness, and walk humbly with your God. This is sometimes Challenging when I’m in the mist of injustice, when there’s unfaithfulness, and when there’s no humility. BUT GOD……,please She’s pray as sometimes my work environment gets challenging. I don’t want to misrepresent my God.

  8. Traci Gendron says:

    Happy Saturday She’s! Can you all pray for my little dog. She has kidney disease and wasn’t acting herself today. I just dropped her off at the vet’s office. They will give her some fluids. I’m just not ready to be without her! Thank you!

  9. AZ Walker says:

    Psalm 27:8 He will never leave his children or forsake them!
    I’ve been feeling anxious lately, I’m praying that God will calm my heart as I seek him and walk humbly with him and trust he is with me. Praying that all of you feel his peace!

  16. Elaine Morgan says:

    Awesome verse! Thank you God for keep us safe during all those storms last night. ❤️

  17. Searching says:

    Simple & straightforward-
    Micah 6:8
    He has shown you, O man, what is good;
    And what does the Lord require of you
    But to do justly,
    To love mercy,*
    And to walk humbly with your God? NKJV

    *Translated as mercy, also as lovingkindness and above as faithfulness.

    Psalm 63
    O God, You are my God;
    Early will I seek You;
    My soul thirsts for You;
    My flesh longs for You
    In a dry and thirsty land
    Where there is no water.
    2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
    To see Your power and Your glory.
    3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
    My lips shall praise You.
    4 Thus I will bless You while I live;
    I will lift up my hands in Your name.

    Lord, thank You. As I read the headlines or hear a news report, it is reinforced that we are living in a “dry and thirsty land where there is no water”, where leaders at all levels have turned away from You in their hearts, even as they use Your words as a backdrop. Where curses are common in our media, and the name of Jesus is so powerful that it cannot be spoken – so wrong and backwards. May my sisters and I see the opportunities we have to share Your living water with those in our families and circles that are lost. As we have seen in Your word these last several weeks – as kings have followed You, turned away from You, listened to the wrong people – You alone are worthy and we always need to look to You, not to ourselves or others. We need to filter our lives through Your word – our thoughts, actions, advice of others, each interaction – does it line up with Your word? Or is it a dressed up lie?
