True and divine love grows from a life rooted in Jesus. The wage of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 6:23). I can never repay my Savior Christ for the wages my sin cost Him, but as any gift truly given in love should be received with gratefulness, may my unveiled face smile and receive His gift of eternal life with Him in humble honor. I bow and kiss the ring of my King. Sin will never rule over me, I am under His grace (Rom 6:14). And nothing can separate me from the love of God now (Rom 8:39). I am washed in His blood, I have been set free. I remember the prison walls, I remember how life felt small and confusing. Wanting to fly, but afraid of falling. Living paycheck to paycheck vs the abundance and peace I have now. God gives eternal streams of living water, I do not need to worry about thirst. I am a tree planted by a river that will never dry up. This is a most beautiful gift. And I pray my life is used for others to believe this promise. Lord, show me how to lead others to open their hands and hearts to receive your gift too. Maranatha.
