True and divine love grows from a life rooted in Jesus. The wage of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 6:23). I can never repay my Savior Christ for the wages my sin cost Him, but as any gift truly given in love should be received with gratefulness, may my unveiled face smile and receive His gift of eternal life with Him in humble honor. I bow and kiss the ring of my King. Sin will never rule over me, I am under His grace (Rom 6:14). And nothing can separate me from the love of God now (Rom 8:39). I am washed in His blood, I have been set free. I remember the prison walls, I remember how life felt small and confusing. Wanting to fly, but afraid of falling. Living paycheck to paycheck vs the abundance and peace I have now. God gives eternal streams of living water, I do not need to worry about thirst. I am a tree planted by a river that will never dry up. This is a most beautiful gift. And I pray my life is used for others to believe this promise. Lord, show me how to lead others to open their hands and hearts to receive your gift too. Maranatha.

So I read the New Living Translation of the Bible and I love the way the have this verse; “For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” If you noticed the word free (the caps are mine) I felt even more touched when I read this version. How many time do I take for granite that my salvation is FREE. What Christ did for me He DID NOT HAVE TO DO.
Thank You Lord for Your FREE gift of eternal life through Your Son, my Savior Christ Jesus.
Be blessed and praise God for your FREE gift every day. Have a great weekend.

  18. Rhonda J. says:

Can we even fathom how huge that verse really is! Death. Our before destination. Over. Done with. Can you imagine? What was life for when swept away so quickly?

But God…He gave us a way to not perish, to have eternal life in the heavenly realm until there is a new, beautiful earth that was meant to be in the beginning. People strive and try to figure out the crazy thing called life, and you get older and realize it will never make sense until you read the Word of God, and understand the Gospel!! I want to share this simple truth with so many loved ones, that they will “get it” and let their life be changed. The anxiety, stress, and fear dissipate with Faith. Faith! Let that be your guide this wkd. Rejoice tomorrow with fellow Christians that we have been redeemed by Grace. We can’t earn it, and we don’t deserve it but thank you Lord for sending your Son to accomplish it for us. We will be content in every circumstance because HE is enough.

Grateful for the grace day each week, bc I know if I miss any days during the week, I will not continue to fall behind, these days give me time to catch up! Great time in Gods Word today! No matter what we ‘appear’ to be, God knows the true nature of our heart! We are not called to fake it til we make it!! He gives us the tools we need, He gave us the One we needed, and He gives us the way out! Praise God!! ❤️
