Happy New Year! Take time today to pause and reflect on the past five weeks of reading, remembering the promises fulfilled in His first coming and anticipating the promises yet to be fulfilled in His return. Take this first day of the new year to catch up on your reading, make space for prayer, and rest in His presence.
When they saw the star, they were overwhelmed with joy. Entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and falling to their knees, they worshiped him.
—Matthew 2:10–11

Yaaaaaay Indiana Elaine…praise Jesus ❤️
Happy New Year dear Shes! The Lord has brought us through another year and we’re still here, in spite of the raging pandemic. I’m so thankful for this community. I read She Reads Truth Devotional for a long time before I decided to look at the comments. My eyes were open to many sisters who were willing to walk along side one another in prayer, or suggesting what a passage may mean, a song that correlated with the scriptures that day or just offering advice. I’ve come to know some shes from their prayer requests or just musings about their lives. I’ve been the recipient of prayers on my behalf and with that being said, I was reading one day last week, later in the day than I usually read and I happened to see my name inquiring how I was recovering from my hand surgery. I forget who asked about my recovery from my hand surgery, but I think it’s coming along. I’m messaging the scar and doing my exercises every day. Sometimes I May over do it so I hope I haven’t done too much. I go back for a checkup next week. Blessings to all and all that concerns you.
Mari V. your son sounds like mine and I have a t-shirt that says “Blessed to be called MOM” and I always wear it with pride.
Jennifer Speigner I hope you continue with us because She Reads Truth is a daily community and I’m very grateful it is.
MeemerJ that sounds so beautiful and heartwarming, I can just see it in my mind.
Jennifer Loves Jesus your comment was so loving and caring. Thanks.
Mercy thanks for the verse from Isaiah I needed that.
Indiana Elaine your comment brought tears to my eyes. Children do say some of the best things.
Prayers for all those who are in need.
Happy New Year to all!
We witnessed a miracle this morning!! My son’s infection markers are significantly lower today. Yesterday they were ICU levels. Today he is even off oxygen and doing well. Thank you for your prayers! God is a God who hears!! His three year old daughter says, “God is taking care of my daddy!!” Out of the mouth of babes comes wisdom!!
May God show His mercy, grace, truth, hope, love, promises, and EVERLASTING LIGHT on all of you my dear, dear sisters in Christ in this new year and all the years to come. Let us remember His Word is ALWAYS there to guide us, lead us, and help us through the bad times and the good times, the easy times and the hard times. All we have to do is ASK for His help and He WILL be there — He is there already but He will let us know He is there!!!
Lord God, Father to ALL things, thank you for all that You have done. Thank You for for sending Your son as a baby to save US ALL. Thank You for allowing Jesus to die for my sins and the world’s sins. Thank You for Jesus’ resurrection. Thank You for allowing us to receive the Holy Spirit and hear the GREAT NEWS of YOU and YOUR SON, JESUS. Be with us all in the coming years and help us to shine YOUR GREAT LIGHT and TELL YOUR SON’S GREAT STORY!! AMEN
Sisters, be blessed and join me in spreading the LIGHT and the GREAT STORY!!
Happy New Year Everyone!!!!
Happy new year dear sisters ! I can’t state enough how much this study opened by eyes and how much I enjoyed it and the community here. Thank you for all your prayers, insight, wisdom, and love for Jesus. I pray we all experience a new measure of God’s peace this 2022.
Happy New Year 2022 to all of you my dear sweet sisters. May SRT be a strong platform where God’s glory is shining brighter and brighter when it’s dark out there. May this be where revelation, strength, wisdom is imparted. May faithfulness, hope, joy be cultivated among us -women from all over the world to be equipped daily. May the spirit of God strengthen each of us with His good tidings, comfort, consolation, beauty (for ashes), oil of joy overflowing all over us and our families, in this acceptable year of the Lord 2022.
The Year of the LORD’s Favor
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:1-3
@Rhonda J. Praying for your marriage. This is coming from my own journey as a wife with heartfelt humility I am learning from our Wonderful, Counselor Jesus. Agreeing and standing with your prayers lifted. May our Father move in His extravagant and abundant grace. Amen.

Praying for you all in Colorado, and those still in need in Kentucky.
Praying for my nephew and nieces every day this year ahead that they will get saved and reborn in the light! And that my 21-year-old only son will grow a closer relationship with Jesus! And lastly that my heart will soften and be more patient with my rocky relationship with my husband. Thank you dear Lord, my Heavenly Father! Amen. (sorry to post twice!)
New Year’s greetings my beloved She’s. I pray y’all have a blessed year full of Christ’s love, joy, and His peace that passes all understanding. We are so blessed to get to meet here ever morning in the Word. Love & hugs to you all❤️
I must join in with a Happy New Year SHE-friends! These studies and your comments just touch me more and more each year! This advent was especially profound and eye-opening talking about the two advents and the in-between. I wish and hope my brain could and would absorb it all and keep it at the forefront this coming year! I am beginning my first spiritual fast this week with my church to grow closer to God and praying over this coming year. They will have the church open all day to come in and pray. I love this idea, to “let go, and let God.” We do not know the day or time, but we long for it, until then, we must be the light!
Happy Saturday- R :)
I live in Canada in a remote spot and we wanted to declare to all who came to our place something about our beliefs and about our God. My 90 year old father in law offered to paint a sign for our long driveway. On one side, in big bold letters, it says: “In God we Trust”. On the other side is the quote from Numbers 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”
SRT sisters I pray that you would continue to trust God and His Word in 2022. And that His face would shine upon you and you would reflect His Glory. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year sisters! Where I live, it’s really cold right now! (-35C/-30F) And I’m reminded by the beautiful sunrise and how it washes the snow covered land in soft light that only comes in the frigid
winter, that life is hard but also beautiful. At the same time! It’s The Everlasting Light that is the beauty. May your 2022 be filled with the hope of our Saviour, my friends!!!!
Happy New Year, sisters! I love that the beginning of this new year, I feel so connected to you all. I’ve always loved SRT, but this Advent season feels like we all came closer together. I’ve been praying for community and this group feels so much like that. And after the arrival of the Christ, this feels like such an amazing gift. I hope this makes sense. I love this community.
Happy New Year ❤️ There is such hope wrapped in new beginnings, and yet I struggle with the in betweenness of it all. And in the struggle I am strengthening day by day. “I love you O Lord, my strength” Psalm 18:1. He strengthens us because He is, He was, and He is coming again to rescue. So beautiful. So hard. So true. Just after this tender worship scene the holy family had to flee. Jesus was saved so He could save us and bring us home to His forever Kingdom. But all those babies lost at the cruel hands of Herod. Healing and victory held in the cradle of Gods mercy. So we hold on until… in between the two advents. In between the two gardens. In between we stand with the Holy Spirit to guide and remind us of where we are heading. Home. Praying for what the in betweenness holds for each of us. Father God, when there is joy let us rejoice together, when there is pain let us step in and support. Let our silent prayers be heard and may Your voice be our peace. Let Your Light shine from our lives like the lamps on high, proudly displaying Your power in our steadfast steps we take each day. Until. Maranatha.
Happy New Year!!
It is so nice and strengthening to know we are together for this New Year!
This is my first as well as some of you but will not be my last. I hope to connect with more and find new lasting relationships on this incredible journey of like minded individuals who aspire to do God’s will

Happy new year to everyone! I can’t remember a time when I was so desirous of seeing a year end but I think 2021 did that to me. So instead of dwelling on all the ‘hard’, I decided to close out the year by making a list of everything I am grateful for in the year – it has really helped me focus on the ‘good’ as I move forward in hope!

Happy New Year, from California. It is right now officially 2022. Was trying to go to sleep but my neighbors behind me were lighting fireworks that were extremely loud. I’m just thankful it didn’t burn down anything. My son wrote the most amazing post on Instagram earlier today. I am blessed to be his mother. I have enjoyed coming along side all of you during this beautiful Advent study.
Happy New Year to yall! God bless you and your families with good health and joy!
