Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Psalm 16:9

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Therefore my heart is glad
and my whole being rejoices;
my body also rests securely.

And I feel you too Maura, I have had a migraine for 3 or 8 days now with my usual chronic pain! It is so hard when you don’t feel good to due life! But yet, it can always be worse!! That’s what I try to remember! Love what you wrote Dorthy!!

    So I went and looked up Psalm 16 because I wanted to read more of it, I enjoy reading the Psalms. My Bible has a footnote for part of verse 9 where it says rejoices and the footnote says “Greek version reads ‘and my tongue shouts His praises.'” And then refers to Acts 2:26. The Greek version sounds so beautiful, my tongue shout His praises. So today I will SHOUT HIS PRAISES, I will let the world know He is my LORD and I am His child. HE is THE ONE AND ONLY, His Son died for me and the whole wide world. The Holy Spirit came to enter into anyone who believes and has faith. I BELIEVE and I WILL let the world know.
    I have rambled too much.
    I hope each and everyone of you has blessed, wonderful and peace-filled weekend sisters.

    I can totally sympathize with your headaches. Something, I am still trying to remember to do, is to let myself rest during when I have a headache so it doesn’t turn into a migraine. I actually have to force myself to go to bed with a couple of warm compresses, a bottle of water, and lights off.

    Literally,My body rest securely. Woke up again with a headache, took something for it and hoped I can get an hour later for the sunrise and quiet time but my body was so tired. I have been gone for 2 weeks to my daughter’s to babysit grand kids while she and her husband went on a preplanned 5 day trip to NYC.
