Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.
—Hebrews 10:23–25

He IS faithful! And I am thankful. ❤️
Amen Churchmouse!
Amen!
Lord i thank you
Thank you Alison! I appreciate your prayers and your advice! It means more than you know. I am seeing a professional in addition to seeking Jesus for healing!
@K Swenson – it is exhausting to fight yourself and your past trauma-I know that firsthand. I will pray for you and please seek help from a professional if needed in addition to clinging to Jesus.
Choosing to follow God isn’t just a one time decision, it is a daily decision. I pray that I would follow after you Jesus every day of my life.
Amen Churchmouse! Preach it my sister!
Amen
Have a happy and fantastic weekend sisters**
Let us hold on to Him tightly, tightly. The day is approaching. Let the fellowship in a Godly assembly provoke us unto love and good works, as we pass on this trickle effect of stirring up onto others. This verse shows that to love only is not enough, but love AND good works, to actually roll up our sleeves and offer a service(May I vacuum the church, may I put away the chairs at the end of the service, May I prepare refreshment and beverage to bring from home to church, may I help with the dishes, may I look after the children so parents can have undivided attention to the Word being preached? etc. etc.) If God has a need in His house, let us recognize and be provoked. I love this verse!! Let the good works wrapped in love speak. Happy a fantastic weekend sisters.
Amen, Churchmouse! ♥️
❤️
God is so good to me!! He tells me exactly what I need to hear daily!!
Churchmouse your comment spoke volumes to me. We need to stand in our beliefs as Christians. I’ve said it before, our world seems upside down and I like to turn away from it all.
How will the next generation know the Way, the Truth and the Life if we don’t hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering? In a culture that is advocating personal truth (my “truth,” your “truth” – all small T) rather than God alone as Truth, it is all the more imperative that we stand firm. We put on the armor of God, heed our Commander in Chief’s orders and lift His banner high. To the glory of God and the good of mankind now, while awaiting His future triumphant return.
“Let us watch out for one another” is what stood out to me this morning. I really believe there’s something to say about us believers, us sisters looking out for on another. Lifting each other up, encouraging and even rebuking gently when needed.
“He who promised is faithful….” Praise the Lord.
What a verse and one of my favorites!!! How often in our quest to LOVE OTHERS do we truly CONSIDER them. As many times as I have read this verse, that’s what jumped out at me this morning.
A PRAISE: We had our best friends over for supper last night for the first time since Covid hit. We laughed so hard my throat is raw this morning! Thank you, God for the good medicine of gathering with others in love and laughter! Have a blessed day ladies!
What need to Love each other lately? Why we get to want to be other sex? If I wonder I can or will, please teach me, they need to be something they hands, and hope. Amen.
