It’s so funny that the devotional for today asks for me to rest and pray and catch up on my Bible reading. I’m starting over today, I’ve committed to giving God, my health, and myself more attention m. So this just perfect!

My study in the Bible is fairly new, though I’ve walked with faith always. My soul has been hungry for The Word. In all of the seasons of my life, the word of God is the only consider.
The one constant of our lives ♥️ Thank you Lord. Thank you for remaining the same then, now and tomorrow. It is my mission to get to know your heart more and more deeply.

It is incredible to me that the Bible is timeless and is inspired by God and written through so many authors. I love how many connections are made in the Bible, how many prophecies have been told and have happened. I am just in awe of our God.
I am blessed by this today. I’m reading it the morning after chaos in the Capital. Permission to rest in the presence of Jesus is what I needed.
Alicia, I am praying for comfort and strength as you slowly move forward. I do not know or understand the pain of your loss. What I do know is that our Lord cares about you & He is surrounding you with His love & concern for you. I am always here to listen. Big hug to you my sister.

So their sin be washed and made right, may the burden they carry become light and may the rest their troubles on our Savior. I am so touched by everyone’s prayers. The service was such a beautiful reflection of his life and pointed to Jesus. So it was a hard day but also a celebratory day because of his hope in Jesus. We shared some of our favorite memories of him as a family, and we all had so much to share because of how kind, caring, and hilarious he always was. Thank you all for praying for and caring for people you’ve never seen or met. You all show the love of Jesus in a big way on this little corner of the internet. Hugs to you all

I need support today. I found out I’m pregnant today (we have been trying for awhile) but I’m anxious as I have had two miscarriages in the past. Please help me lean on the Lord during this time.

be your peace through these difficult days. I have struggled with anxiety the past few years and some days I just close my eyes, take a deep breath, and pray “be with me Jesus”. Some times I have to do that over and over, but eventually I feel better and more in control. Praying for you today.
Alicia, I am praying for your family! Today’s verse was such a reminder to me of the hope we have in the face of so much uncertainty. Let’s grab onto God’s Word and stand strong, even as the world around us seems to be shaken. It doesn’t mean we won’t be affected by things, but that we have an anchor that will hold in the middle of the storms. Reminds me of that old song…I’m thankful today for the Word of our God!
