Traci Gendron, I just got caught up on my reading of comments, I’m sorry to hear about your son. I lost my son 17 years ago when he was 18 and my niece (who was more like a daughter than a niece) in April she would have been 35 days after her death. It is difficult to loose a child, but I have found having faith, family, and friends are the best comforts one can have. Remember, God and Christ and the Holy Ghost will never leave you and they are there “for the long haul”. I’ll be praying for you, your son and your family.

  15. Nhu says:

Amen. May the Holy Spirit- the Great instructor and comforter that God sent to us because of His great love and mercy, will teach us (may we make room to pay attention and show up for class) so we shall remain in the right path and having the right mind. Glory be to Jesus.

  16. Laura Beckom says:

Father, so thankful for the beauty, goodness, and truth I find in your word.

  17. Dorothy says:

So this week has reminded me of the song “The Truth Be Told” by Matthew West. The first time I read it I thought that’s me. Have a great weekend sisters.

  18. Mari V says:

Whenever I need to do something major or even it’s not, I pray for guidance. And I truly believe it’s the Holy Spirit who guides me.

  20. Pam K says:

So thankful for this truth! Where would I be without the work of the Holy Spirit in me. It is a gift that I can ignore, or doubt, yet He is still with me, teaching and leading. How blessed we each are to have God with us.

  21. Lindsay Walter says:

    Amen ♥️

  22. Haley Gardner says:

    Amen! Love this so much!

  23. Joyce Walker says:

Father we all must take out each day especially to think of all you have done and doing in our lives. We forget too often about being grateful and thankful for the small things in life like healthy, family, shelter, able to have a job and most of all salvation and freedom to serve our Father God freely.

  24. Britney Spees says:

We are awake and moving forward full of hope in our future. Our Wonderful Counselor is leading the way for us through this valley! I am thankful. -Amen

  25. Searching says:

The letters in red, wow. Christ’s words for me, for you, for all. When I opened John 14 and started reading the chapter, I saw nearly the entire chapter was red – thank you, Lord, for Your words, Your promises, Your guidance, my salvation.

As we approach Thanksgiving week, a much more lonely, scaled back holiday as compared to past years, I am thankful for this community of believing sisters in Christ. I start my days with all of you and read back through the previous day’s comments …soaking in the insight you share and praying over your requests.

  26. Churchmouse says:

How wondrous it is to be taught and reminded by God Himself. How gracious of God to give us the Counselor to guide us through these uncertain days. We are never alone and we need not fear. God is with us.
