Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
I want their hearts to be encouraged and joined together in love, so that they may have all the riches of complete understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery—Christ. In him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
—Colossians 2:2–3

I love this day because sometimes time takes over! Great idea
I pray that I may grow in the knowledge and wisdom of Christ. Thank you Lord for the gift of salvation and your son Jesus Christ.
This scripture is beautiful, and it feels me with the desire to know God more to grow in wisdom and knowledge. I want the same for my husband and those around me, so today I will pray into this. Thank you Lord.
❤️
Have you ever read the book uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst? Her book is all about the issues you described having and how to find healing all from a biblical perspective. I’m currently reading it with a moms group right now.
I am going to start to pray this over my family. Thank you for the idea!!
Lord i rest in you lv i pray you rest in Christ!
These last few devotions have made me a bit anxious about “I must be doing it all wrong” and I’ve been a bit stressed. I have Rejection Sensitivity Dysmorphia and it even applies to thinking God must be mad at me. But this verse helped calm me. It framed knowing God less about being fearful and realizing all the ways you’re wrong and more of getting freedom and happiness from knowing what he likes and dislikes. Jesus has always meant freedom to me. And I feel very loved by God, a lot of times I feel I must be his favorite person. But then I still stress about how I must be doing it all wrong and not even know. “I don’t deserve these blessings and I must be taking them for granted” almost like I need to earn what he’s already blessed me with. But that’s why they’re blessings, I can’t earn them. The few times I’ve really felt God speaking to me he always has to tell me the same thing, he’s not mad at.
Thanks for sharing your heart LV. I will pray that God will protect your heart and mind and continuously remind you that you are enough through Christ!
Churchmouse, Thank you so much for sharing this idea! I have appreciated reading the posts over the years from you (and many others) of practical ideas that I can incorporate into my daily routine as a wife, mom, and teacher. Ladies, keep posting (or post your reflections and ideas if you haven’t before) because you never know how it will bless someone else! ❤️
I’ll pray this verse for my daughter & son!
♥️ I have been asking the Lord to give me verses to pray for my two adult daughters and this is what He showed me today! Thank you for confirming this.
