Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.
Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.

Dorothy, I’m so sorry about the death of your beloved niece. Praying for you and all your family during this especially difficult time. May you feel our Lord holding you close.
@ Melanie. This is why I am so thankful for celebrate recovery and the 12 steps.
“Surrender.” This is something my sponsor would always point me back to you whenever something would come up. It works!
Dear SRT sisters I am asking for prayers for my sister, myself and my family, I just found out about 20 minutes ago that my niece died last night in a car accident in West Virginia. She was not only my niece but she was my roommate and like a daughter. With all this social distancing and all I don’t know when we will be able to have a service or anything else.
This is a real blow for you Dorothy and I’m so sorry to hear. Praying for you.
Oh Dorthy I’m so sorry. Praying now
I’m so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and your family!
I am so sorry for your loss Dorothy. I pray she knew Jesus. Our 28-year old daughter was murdered last August in WV and we’re still going through that grief and will be for the rest of our lives. She was a bystander in a neighbors quarrel. We’ve learned that grief is something we’ll get through, but never over. I pray for justice for you and your family.
So good
So I was reading my email, and in my nursing email I get a daily briefing (yes from a reliable source) about what is happening worldwide with COVID-19. Well they made mention of Bill Withers, a singer, dieing (no not from COVID-19) and his songs “Ain’t No Sunshine.” “Lean On Me” and “Lovely Day” and how they speak to the season we are in right now. These are the words to “Lovely Day”
When the day that lies ahead of me
Seems impossible to face
When someone else instead of me
Always seems to know the way
Then I look at you
And the world’s alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it’s gonna be
A lovely day…
This “Stay At Home” order is hard. I know it’s for my own good and everyone else’s good but my son, who lives in the general area as I do, text me last evening and said how about we talk on the phone Sunday since we can’t meet for a meal. My sister and I can’t give each other a hug because she has some health problems that make her more vulnerable. I am a person that likes to get together with my friends on the weekends and have them over to my place to eat. Lord, help us all though this and make us stronger.
The stay at home order is not a complete quarantine. Depending on your state, you can still get together with people one on one. You can still engage with technology to see people. You don’t have to be completely isolated and in most cases you can still go outside and enjoy creation.
I encourage you to look at the orders again. Groups of less than ten means you can have an at home meal with your son.
This verse reiterates what verse 19 says: Do not take revenge my dear friends, but leave room for God‘s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. I’ve told my kids when someone does harm to us, leave it in God’s hands because it is best if He takes care of it instead of us. And as hard as it is, we need to pray for that person. Trust me i know it’s hard!
Always the very best advice Mari V for our children as children or as grown ups,(or just for ourselves). God is in control of justice. It’s hard to remember and do this sometimes when you are so angry or hurt. But if you surrender these hurts to Him, you will feel more peaceful and secure knowing that He knows what’s best. Thank you Lord.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12
Dont you love when God points you to a verse that you so desperately needed to hear and reflect on. Happy Saturday ladies. Stay joyful, patient, and faithful ❤️

This is the verse God gave me in January when I was praying for a verse for the year! He knew I would desperately need it.
Perfect verse for this year❤️
Amen.
Dearest Sister’s, isn’t it so beautiful and comforting to see that our GOD is in control?!
Yet again, the timing of this Bible study in this crazy time is perfect.
“…where my help comes from, the Maker of heaven and earth…” Ps 121
Stay safe all!
Amen.
Trusting you Lord, to give us strength & wisdom to conquer this invisible, evil enemy, & to bring others to trust in you.
How can I see myself as a conqueror when the evil seems so large and overwhelming? Scripture has the answer! Romans 8: 35-37. I overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loves me. It is not by my own strength for I do not have enough. I conquer through His strength which is limitless. Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, I lean into Him. I draw on His power. I trust in His promises. And I praise His for all He is. He is more than enough for this day, this hour, this minute. I am a conqueror through Him. Through Him. Jesus. Let us raise our sword and lift our shield (Eph. 6: 10-17). Victory is at hand.
Amen❤️❤️❤️
Amen ❤️
Amen.
The Lord of Hosts is with us!
The God of Jacob is our refuge!
Nuff said!!
If God is for us… who, absolutely who, can be against us..? Romavs 8:31
Happy Saturday my sisters!
