Day 6

Grace Day

Hebrews 4:15–16

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.
Hebrews 4:15–16

Thank you, Lord for your grace. Thank you father that you sent your son as an example for us to follow. I’m reminded of when you led him into the wilderness to be tempted right after he was baptized and appointed into full time ministry, right after he fasted first 40days/nights. Jesus was able to use your powerful word to resist temptation and the devil fled! God help us to hold you word in our hearts so that we may not sin against you!

A good reminder today that we should never take the grace of God or the Word of God lightly, for both are a gift to us to be used for good. Mari V, I am praying that your court hearing goes well today and that you can stand boldly in the Lord today and always.

What a way to show Jesus’ power and restraint- he had the same temptations and chose not to give in.
