Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.
28 Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.
29 He stilled the storm to a whisper,
and the waves of the sea[a] were hushed.
30 They rejoiced when the waves[b] grew quiet.
Then he guided them to the harbor they longed for.
31 Let them give thanks to the LORD
for his faithful love
and his wondrous works for all humanity.
32 Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people
and praise him in the council of the elders.
Psalm 107:28–32

Thankful for a Grace Day in the study for the grace that God shares with me all the time
Thankful for His faithfulness and his unwavering love.
Thank you Jesus for never letting me go. There’s been times where I gave up but He did not. He is so loving and just, mighty and merciful, and overflows with grace. I love you Jesus! Thank you for turning my focus off me and back to you.
Dear Deb,
Praying for your daughter and her family. ❤️
Dear Lord thank you for the strength and love to get me through the pain and trials of having RA, AS, and Fibromyalgia. Your a great God, all the glory and praise to you Lord. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
I am in a storm with my daughter who has severe PTSD. I have to surrender her many times each day and keep believing Jesus is who He says He is! I keep praying protection and provision as she has many needs right now. She is also facing court issues and has lost custody of her 5 & 9 year old children. That adds to the pain in her heart. Prayers appreciated from this wonderful God fearing community of sisters! I am always so encouraged when I still myself to read His Word and glean from all the comments on it. Thank You Jesus that You are God and see it all! You Lord know the outcome of all our situations. You do not tremble and shake -like I do at times. May I walk with confidence and trust in You alone today.
So thankful for God’s peace and how he quiets the storms in my life.
“He guided them to the harbor they longed for” wow what a picture of His grace and goodness♡
God never fails. ❤️
❤️
They cried to the Lord … He stilled their storm. He loves me. He sees my storm. He listens to my cries. He cares. Sometimes He stills the waves. Sometimes He quiets my heart with His presence. Either way, He is with me in the storm and He preserves me. “Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief”.
I cried out to my God for help! And He delivered me! I am so grateful for all that my God has and continues to do for me! I stand here today only because of God! I’m grateful for My Jesus who came along side to walk this journey with me. I’m grateful for God’s people who are now have become great friends to join me on this journey as well, covering me in prayer, comforting me, crying with me, laughing with me being my friend. TODAY my baby becomes a teenager. Continue the prayers! Though life has been so hard for she and I and I’m not just talking about our current situation. My love for my children, my love for my daughter Alyssa will not change. And if I want the best for her I can only imagine what God wants for her and has for her. Please pray for her healing.
My daughter just turned 13 a few days ago also! This age is so hard…I’m not sure if the situation, but I am praying for you and your daughter, Mari. Whatever troubles you have may God lift them off of you and carry you to calm waters❤️
Thank you Father for giving me the harbor that I long for…
Thank you Churchmouse
Churchmouse- thank you sister for your comment today! Much needed! ❤️ Our Father is using you in a mighty way!
Just so grateful on this Grace Day for the Lord’s provision the past couple days. We can see clearly now that He is guiding us to the harbor we have longed for. We’re not quite there yet. These months of rough seas and stormy nights and gale force winds nearly sank us had we not trusted that He was still controlling the rudder. We give thanks to the Lord for His faithful love and His wondrous works as we continue on to the day our feet are on the shore. It’s coming though we know not the day or month. Sweet friend, if you are white knuckled and holding on to your little dinghy with all your strength, back bent low in the wind, do not give up. What He is doing for us, He will do for you. He is there. The timing is His. He’s holding on to You.
This has been such a refreshing study so far. I’m challenged to focus on what’s truly important {Jesus.} and shift my focus away from what I think is important.
Despite us going astray when we call on God, He shows up and shows out— quieting storms and pulling us through. God is indeed great!
28 “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.” Thank you Lord. Thank you that you redeem us out of our pits. Psalm 103:1-5. My hope is in the Lord!
Amen!
Thank you for this wonderful study and the work that you do. Thank you, God, for calming my storms. In the midst of the storm, I lose sight of you sometimes. Today I am going to be purposeful in my seeing you in my storms.
❤️
I cry out to the Lord when I am hurting
He provides a new perspective on the situation
and makes it less painful
He carries me through the deep waters
to a place of safety and love.
Praise Jesus for His never-ending love and embrace!
This is faith, to believe God will do this for me
and through grace He does every time.
