Grace Day
Open Your Bible
Romans 5:20-21
BY She Reads Truth
Take this day as an opportunity to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
— Romans 5:20-21

Hello ladies, Im Cynthia from Arizona and I normally don’t share but I downloaded this app 6 days ago after seeing an add on Instagram, and I’ve been struggling so much with spending time in God’s word but this app and all your comments have been helping me so so much! just know that without you even knowing you make an impact in people around you ❤

Welcome Cynthia! Isn’t it so wonderful to have a group of women discovering God’s Word together?! I’ve followed them on Instagram for a long time, but just started participating in the studies and I love it! I also love reading what people share in the comments…so good and life giving!

How beautiful are these verses?! So thankful for God’s grace. I feel like He’s been bringing me back to the subject of grace for the last couple of weeks and teaching me more about what receiving His grace should look like in my life.
I was reading some commentary on these Romans verses this morning and had to share this little excerpt:
“Said simply beloved, grace is not grease for the gears of our old life. Grace is the force that destroys the old man in us, and makes us just like who we are Designed to be – like Him.”
Lord, help me to see Your grace in this way. To not take advantage of it, but to let it work in my life the way You intended – to make me more and more like You. Amen.

Which commentary were you reading, please. Thank you for sharing; It spoke to me….’not grease for the old life.’

There is grace from Genesis 1:1 to Rev. 22:21. All of these different stories, written by different people and God pulls it all together in Jesus.
I am so thankful for the reminder of how utterly devestating sin is and just how much God hates sin. I am also thankful for the reminder of the lengths God will go to redeem and restore His children.
Papa God, may I never take that for granted.
Stay dry and safe! Be blessed this weekend! -
“But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more” Can’t help but think of the Las Vegas shootings with this one. Where one mans sin took the lives of so many, there is not only Gods grace present, but His grace is “multiplied”. How amazing. May those souls rest in peace with the Lord.

There is no sin too big, nor sins too numerous, that grace is not greater. (How awesome is this?!)

O to grace how great a debtor Daily I’m constrained to be.
Bind my heart, Lord like a fetter Bind my wandering to thee. -
Thank goodness for grace.
