Take this day as an opportunity to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
– Romans 5:8

How comforting it is to know that He died for me and no matter what happens in this life, nothing will change that. I needed to hear this verse today as for the past month I’ve been struggling with pain all throughout my body. I’ve been to several doctors and there are no answers. I’m praying to God that His will be done but it is so hard for me. I love to run and do yoga and it’s been challenging for me to even focus on school. Please please please if you could, pray for me. I’m so thankful for the SRT community and I hope you all have a lovely day!
Churchmouse hit it right on the nail. This is a safe place. When I am ready I will share some things that have been going on. In the meantime continued prayers are appreciated.
I’ll be praying Mari!
To be loved by God (God of the entire universe!) is no easy thing to wrap your mind around. But that’s where reading His 66 love letters with faith steps in and dispels all doubt. It helps to gather with a few friends to wrestle with the questions and for encouragement. So… Thank you SRT sisters for the Scriptures, the devotions, and the comments – for being a safe loving place. Feeling His love through you. It’s always good to meet you here.
Amen.
Sharon Hodde Miller, one of the writers on SRT releases her first book in one month! I already preordered mine, and I am so excited to share the book trailer with you all!! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1733392640015659&id=650037451684522
