Revelation 4:11

Revelation 4:11

Today, as a body of women, let’s meditate on and memorize God’s word. Not for our own glory or honor, but for the joy of our Father and the growth of His Truth in our hearts.

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” Revelation 4:11

Glory to God in the highest! I feel more empowered everyday I read these lessons & the comments left by other women who have read these lessons before me. God is so Great & he walks with me. Who shall I fear? He fights for me & loves me unconditionally. What more can I ask for? He created all things & has a plan for me. He is worthy of all praise & honor & glory.

Thank you Lord God Almighty, for everything you created, & for loving me regardless of my shortcomings. Thank you for lifting me up & working out my flaws for your glory. Amen.

He made us and everything around us – what further reason do we need to worship and honor Him? Yet, there are so many more. Thank You, Father!

Praise GOD for his unconditional love. He is always patient & reminds me daily why I should comtinue the journey. He never said it would be easy..but oh GOD I know it’s worth it. Thank you Father!

Excellent answer. God speaks to us through His Word. `Thy word is a light unto my path …` There are so many reasons to know what He has breathed into us.

So what is the purpose of memorizing scriptures I've always wanted to know?

Jennifer, it's so that in s split second you can draw on God's teaching. I wasn't raised to memorize verses, and I struggle with this too. For the most part I have my own version of a few verses in my head, and I couldn't tell you where to find them in the bible, but it does help me deal with difficult situations.
